Before: "We need to take the fight to these girls," Erica affirms in prefight, "put pressure on them, start exhausting their support systems. You can't leave a girl like Ashley alone so she can plot and plan new schemes - you have to constantly be throwing someone at her, keep her occupied. Personally, I can't wait to get my mitts on her, and yes, I'm talking about what she did to Tricia. Ashley Scott's not NEAR done paying for that little escapade." Scott fast becoming an HMK nemesis, seeing in their women the chance to get good fights, big wins and the exposure that has proven elusive over Scott's career. "Erica's their big dog," Scott shrugs. "When you want to be Alpha, you seek out the proudest chick in the room and kick her ass - that's what this fight's all about. Once I batter Erica the way I had Helfer yelping - I think HMK's going to know who's boss." Durance in shades-of-blue setting sun motif bikini - Scott in hot pink lace push up and panties from Walking Tall.

During R1: Scott respectful, stepping left - tapping out the jab, turning Erica's right flank. Durance dukes under her chin, bobbing rapidly side to side - Scott missing the right hand a result of nifty Erica D head movement. Erica patiently whittling down the ring, threatening Ashley with her legs more then fists - that all changes down the stretch. Final minute: Durance punching-with, trades blunt right hands to chin-tip, both girls race to hooks and SCOTT SPUTTERS BACK HURT! Ashley hitting ropes, head lolling in groggy whiplash - ERICA STEPS-TO! Durance crouched, set: BEEFY right left on the waist draws a groaning protest as Scotty folds forward behind her gloves. Erica right hand under her chin, left loose across her bod - she eases left shoulder into Scotty's chest to prop, then CHUP! CHUP! right/left thick on the waist. Shoulder-prop, CHUP! CHUP! - shoulder-prop CHUP! CHUP! Erica just going at Ashley with heartless determination - poor Scotty all cramped up, getting body-beaten senseless at the bell. Erica back to her corner smoldering - hard, hard body blows take Scotty's wonderful legs out of the fight.

R2: Ashley's eyes watery with resentment, legs shabby - she comes out flat footed, touching Erica the jab, then laying in shoulder to shoulder as Durance gets toe-to-toe she wanted. Scott licking her shots - a lashing left uppercut against the torso off her front foot, a swiping right on Durance' ear. Erica dipping in there, keeping her left shoulder in Ashley's chest - touching Ashley in the ribs, touching her, lulling her. Midway through, girls bumping and slugging in close, trade in hooks goes Erica's way as Scotty's legs bend deep at the knee. Ash hurt - reaching for Durance to clinch - Erica nimbly backwards, walking Scotty onto a crisp check-hook and striding away to the right as Ashley clatters to all fours in astonishment! Swaying 8 Scott, she's nibbling her mitts, nodding a groggy 'yes' to the ref and ON COMES ERICA! Durance heartless, all locked in - she scoots-to, rips Scotty's body a thick right/left, then she's taking Ashley apart with shrieking combinations. Uppercuts and hooks, rugged propping shoves - Erica just too brawny, too busy - poor Ashley sitting into the strands crossing her arms pathetically as punches rain home. Too much for the ref - he bodies Erica off - poor Scott stewing in agony the TKO2 loser.

After: Erica laying down the law - that's the 'destroyer' Durance fans had been waiting to see, taking a dangerous 50-50 fight on paper and turning it into a laugher. "I'm not going to kid you," an unblemished Erica D says in post fight, "it feels good to hurt and stop Ashley Scott. I feel like we as a group - my trainer, my corner and my stable - stepped up tonight and said 'you have to pay.' It's all about accountability. Ashley may have had her moment at Tricia's expense, but what went around came around tonight - Ashley's all knocked out and beaten up now and that's the way it should be."
