Before: Demornay best known for wars with Demi Moore, has made a career of breaking the hearts of up and coming ingénues like Bobbie Phillips. Becky seems a tempting target, and she’s past her prime, but she’s still one celebrity who can really fight and can think through problems in the ring. Phillips a blazing hot property is starting to make her handlers nervous, and questions about her living up the hype abound. Bobbie needs the fight for credibility, Rebecca needs it to get back in the hunt. Black bottoms, white bra for Demornay, Phillips in purple bikini.

During R1: Cagey Becky jumps Bobbie early, chopping up the brunette with quick right hands that evolve into haymakers as Phillips eats shots early. Demornay actually looks like she might stop Bobbie in the first minute, putting her punches together in blurring arcs, clouting the jaw and breasts of Phillips, but Bobbie’s curvy legs keep her standing keeps her standing. Demornay backs off midway through the round, seeing that Bobbie has recovered, and pecks away at her from a distance. Phillips throwing bombs by the end, has Demornay backing up in a very gutty performance from the brunette.

R2: Hammer and tongs round as Bobbie lures Demornay into slugfest and lands some clean right hands to the jaw of the usually elusive blonde, Demornay goes to work with hooks to the body and head, backing Phillips to the ropes, and Bobbie eats more leather than she should, showing her inexperience. Bobbie’s lips pull back from her teeth in a b###hy snarl as she gets tagged--she doesn’t know to grab. She does know to slug however, and she wings her way off the ropes and has Demornay retreating again to take the round on sheer ferocity.

R3: Demornay surprising onlookers with her willingness to stand and bang with Bobbie. The girls circle at power punching distance, taking turns whacking one another with 3 punch combinations, and by the final minute, Bobbie once again has the older girl backing up to the ropes, Phillips finishes strong, and with seconds left in the round, lifts Demornay’s head up with a cute right uppercut inside. Becky scrambled, is saved from embarrassment by the bell.

R4: Bobbie knows she had Becky hurt last round, and comes out swinging for the fences. Demornay defensive, isn’t bending at the waist or moving her head as much as she usually does, and gets clocked moving backwards. After a flurry of wild shots, Phillips finally lands a crashing right to the bridge of the nose, knocking Demornay’s head straight back and putting a jiggle in her thighs. Rebecca is hurt, and covers up, giving the body to Bobbie, who eagerly accommodates. Demornay goes on to soak up a tremendous beating this round as Phillips slugs with abandon, muscling a hurt Demornay around the ring, and lacing into her with everything she’s got. Demornay tough as nails, doesn’t go down, but she;s taking shots she normally avoids, and is getting beaten up.

R5: the calm, cool blonde reasserts herself, still standing in front of Bobbie, but blocking or slipp0ing the brunette’s wide shots and countering hard to her breasts with short, chopping blows. Phillips doesn’t like the action inside, and again shows that b###hy, panicky expression as Demornay stings her, Rebecca takes the round with clean professionalism, outclassing Phillips on the cards.

R6: Demornay continues her patient assault, waiting for Bobbie to open up, then countering mercilessly to her tender breasts, or with sharp, straight hands to the mouth. Phillips to her credit, keeps punching, and once again takes command late in the round. Demornay on the ropes at the bell, takes a shove from Bobbie as the brunette makes it clear she wont be intimidated.

R7: Bobbie Phillips storms out of her corner this round, laying waste to Rebecca with round punches to the body and ribs that have Demornay covering up. Phillips in with uppercuts, backs Demornay to the ropes, and suddenly it is ALL Bobbie, Pushing Rebecca back with the forearm, Bobbie clubs mercilessly at the veteran, smashing her arms, head, chest and body with a rain of heavy handed blows. Demornay is helpless, and wobbles to her corner, shifting Tyson-like fro foot to foot as Bobbie pours it on. Phillips senses the end and piles on, lifting hooks and uppercuts into Demornay’s face, scoring with every punch AND THE REF STEPS IN!!! Demornay beaten senseless with seconds left in the round, loses via spectacular KO to Bobbie in the 7th.

After: Rebecca Demornay got cold sometime in the 4th round of this fight and made a square go of it until she take no more. Is Becky shot? She didn’t move her head much at all, and was out over legs an awful lot. Although she hit Bobbie with some shots, it was Phillips finishing the round the stronger fighter. Bobbie turns in the best performance of her career with this win.
