Before: "Foxfire girls can't take punches," Bilson shrugs happily, sincerely, in prefight. "They aren't prepared for someone like me. I punch with full commitment - I may be tiny, but I get everything I've got onto my shots, and they hurt. It's fun having an entire stable at my mercy - just mowing 'em down and stacking 'em up one by one. Hayden's a big prize, but she'll just be more of the same. When you get right down to it, the Foxfire system is just too soft on girls: they aren't ready when they get in the ring. So note to Foxfire: pillow-fights don't count as sparring!"

Panettiere champing at the bit: personal insults she can handle, but this Foxfire smearing has her ruffled. "Maybe it's me, but I look at Rachel and see a girl who's riding a few lucky punches way past the point of good sense. I'll give her credit for punching out Dani - Harris is strong and experienced, and I didn't think Bilson could move her, but she did - so that was a good win. But otherwise she's just another free-swinging ingenue with delusions of grandeur. I've seen Rachel's pop, and I know she hasn't got enough to hurt me. I'm walking this girl down and banging her out. Best thing about knocking her out with be those 10 blissful seconds of silence!"

During R1: Rachel swinging for the cheap seats early - small gloves bouncing off Hayden's shoulders/prepared defenses, keeping Panny covered up. Midway through, flying left uppercuts penetrate, shocking Hayden to chin, startling her. While Hayden's tottering - Rachel's atop her with scrub - furiously swishing away lefts and rights against Panettiere's face. Hayden backing up in confusion, trips over her own feet, sitting down near the ropes as crowd roars to it's feet. Bilson pounding her mitts together, hops away in triumph: Hayden blushing, quickly up off her rump. Panettiere takes her 8 - covers up as Rachel sweeps in again. Bilson dousing Hayden at the ropes - swinging away wide, lathering shots up top (mostly blocked or slipped); batting tart small-glove lather against Hayden's flanks (these dig in beefy, scoring nicely for Rachel.) Bell: Rachel crowing, dark eyes dancing and taunting - she's just knocked Hayden down and shut her out in the first!

R2: Rachel's attack reminiscent of Alyssa Milano's or Sophia Bush's successful frontal assaults on Hayden. Bilson gambling - swinging away wide n' wild - but sheer exuberance having a psychological effect on Panettiere. Hayden attempting to punch-with, but getting clapped upon her face - she's always beaten to the punch. Rachel able to out-score Hayden toe-to-toe - wiry brunette backing her stocky blonde up. Latter half the round - Hayden actually looks rocked - trying to walk away from Rachel to regroup. Bilson hopping at her foe - sweeping rising lefts and overhand rights onto harassed blonde: Panettiere's wilting! Final moments - Rachel batting away on Hayden all along the apron: PANNY TAKES A KNEE! Hayden stunned, blinking: she's actually taking a pretty good shot...but so MANY of them isn't good.

R3: Hayden again besieged - Rachel fighting at a tempo little blonde can't match. Panettiere reduced to crouching forward behind her gloves, trusting her sturdy body against Rachel's punches. Bilson bares her teeth, grunting as she heaves leather into Hayden's lats and tummy - lithe brunette arching her back, gutting Hayden glorious uppercuts from either hand, digging up underneath crouching blonde. Hayden absorbing - inching forward - brawny little body pinking up on the shoulders, ribs, tummy as busy Rachel swings away. Not much back from Hayden: every time she moves her hands away from her face to punch - she's guzzling leather from a seething brunette. Hayden buffeted and scuffed - beaten 'round the ring as she keeps herself compact, just hoping to ride out the storm.

R4: Had to happen: Bilson's crazy pace begins to slacken - giving Hayden opportunities. Panettiere still in a defensive crouch, taking punches on her flanks - but she's answering now, drilling short, stubby right hands to Bilson's available chin after Rachel's done working. A few stern pokes have Rachel frowning - few more have her stepping away: bit by bit, Hayden starts to take initiative. By the final minute - Hayden's coming forward with good head movement, chopping stubby, straight punches from her crouch, slowly stamping-down the resistance. Bilson's back touches ropes for the first time late in the round as Hayden squares up, works the waistline hooks while shoulder-bumping Rachel into position. Final moments - Rachel dizzy, loosening up: clubbing barrage of Hayden lefts and rights bounces off Bilson's skull - driving her to all fours at the bell! Hayden hooting down as sputtering Rachel reaches into ropes to pull herself up - ref coaxing excited blonde back and warning her against taunting.

R5: Furious toe-to-toe punching - both girls pinning their ears back, baring their teeth - but this time it's all Hayden. Panettiere's straight, stubby lefts and rights jam onto Rachel's face/jolt her upperchest - little brunette can't hold her ground. Rache snarling, swinging away wide, but lathering tempo's falling as she takes more and more punishment. Middle minute - Bilson severely loosened: she's stumble-jogging away from Hayden, trying to regroup as Panettiere walks her down. Hayden scooting-to, re-engaging Rachel quickly: blonde driving brunette to ropes, then squaring away on her. Panettiere humming down the stretch, stout little body tense as she chugs away non-stop, beating at Rachel's ribs and head. Bilson sagging into ropes, head jerking to and fro as Panny punches through: BILSON TAKES A KNEE! Rachel woozy, staring bleakly: Hayden stomps away at the bell, pounding her chest as Bilson pulls herself together shaky.

R6: More Hayden. Rachel forlorn - doe-eyes moist with hurt - she's shying away now, no longer looking to trade. Hayden seething, teeth bared, eyes blazing - OH, she's taking it to Rachel, furiously scouring her girl. Bilson buckling as blonde punches crash home: Rachel's right hand palm-out at her left cheek; left hand across her gut as she leans forward, trying to negotiate. Hayden pumping - constant bobbing head movement punctuated with stubby jabs, ringing right hands, short-arm hooks. Bilson driven at the stagger to ropes - form degrading. Rachel sets up shabby, tilting forward butt-in-ropes behind her gloves: cue terrible beatdown by ravenous little blonde dynamo. Hayden's got it - she knows it: feet spread wide, she jams away lefts and rights off her shoulders with palm-down delivery - bashing at wilting Rachel's head and shoulders. It's all too much - Bilson bludgeoned to her hands and knees - then face and knees when her arms give way. She's still crawling when 10 count passes her by. KO6, Hayden Panettiere. Little bit of sauce from Hayden when it's over: she's cupping her ear, inclining towards Rachel as though it's very hard to hear Bilson talking now. Ouch.

After: Classic case of both girls giving the other both barrels: one girl took it, the other girl succumbed. "She tried to come at me like Sophia or Alyssa do," A scuffed, but bright-eyed Hayden explains in postfight. "So I just covered up and let her spend herself up. I probably could have slugged-with and caught her - but I've been caught myself doing that, and I knew she wasn't as heavy handed as those other girls so I'd probably be able to weather it. She started slowing down and I took it to her! It feels great to stop a girl again - and especially a mouthy brat who had been having a pretty good time at our expense."
