Theron keeping busy, takes on durable but unspectacular Ryan in the latter's biggest fight to date. Jeri a heavy handed, rather deliberate sort, not expected to trouble Charlize, but tough enough to give her some badly needed rounds.

Round 1: Ryan with a high guard, fists at her temples, comes at Theron with a pronounced lead leg plant, and a strong hook, right hand combination. Charlize leaning back, gets tagged on her chin and chased around the ring as she cycles away from Ryan. Jeri the aggressor, bags the points while Theron takes a look.

Round 2: Charlize' seen enough, up on her toes, circling to the left and keeping the left hand in Jeri's face. Shutout Theron as she wheels and deals, bouncing out of harms way as Jeri pivots and chops don't-hurt-me punches in response.

Round 3: Charlize moving beautifully, painting Jeri often enough with the jab that the judges can still call it boxing and not running. Ryan getting desperate to cut off the ring, begins to reach with her punches, and in the final minute, Theron makes her pay. With Jeri badly overextended, Theron scores a slick right hand counter on the teeth, catching Ryan coming forward. JERI STUMBLES TO ALL FOURS, shaking her head as Charlize calmly walks away.

Round 4: Charlize having her way with Ryan, easily feinting Ryan out of position and digging a left hook to the body as Jeri overreacts to a threatened right hand. Theron standing and banging, then stepping out to circle - Jeri just too respectful of the opponent at this point.

Round 5: Charlize looking Jeri over, moving her hands, digging the hook to Jeri's side, and chopping at Ryan's mouth with the right from the shoulder. Charlize bouncing in and out, just too smooth for Ryan who needs to stand, plant, and throw to be effective.

Round 6: Ryan covered up, gives up a welting left/right across her midsection as Theron sweeps her gloves from side to side, and RYAN BUCKLES IN AGONY. Charlize drops the right foot, cranks a whipping double left hook, and JERI SCOOTS TO HER BACKSIDE with a pursed-lipped expression. Ryan up at 8, but Charlize is heartless in pursuit, walking Jeri down, bringing the left hook from the hip in a whipping arc to the ear, and slicing at Jeri's face with a short right hand to pin Ryan to the ropes. Charlize opening up, has Ryan cut to ribbons, but with seconds left in the round, Ryan dips her shoulder and snaps off a THUDDING LEFT HOOK TO THE CHEST. Charlize stops punching and Ryan reloads, coming off the ropes with a barrage of left hooks to put CHARLIZE ON HER BUTT! Theron up, cut over her right eye and looking groggy as the pro-Charlize crowd moans uneasily.

Round 7: Ryan with a much more stationary target in front of her now, steps in and cranks left hooks, banging away at Charlize eye. Theron hunched forward, guard high, gets knocked sideways as Ryan muscles up. Ryan working the right side, THUMPS LEFT HOOKS TO THE BREASTS, ribs and ear as Charlize tries to get her legs back.

Round 8: Charlize pawing at Ryan, and Jeri steps in again, snapping off a huge left hook that cranks Charlize' head viciously to one side. Theron stumbling straight back, gets rocked as Jeri chases her with running lefts and rights to the far ropes. All Ryan as Charlize sits on the ropes, hands at her face, hunched forward as JERI SCORCHES HER TORSO with punishing strokes from both hands. Shutout Jeri, Charlize looking shopworn and worried after eight.

Round 9: Jeri hunting Charlize down again, squares up and begins banging hooks on the blonde's body and when her hands come down, her jaw. Midway through the round, Charlize chops a right hand counter to the cheek, drops that right foot and CRANKS a left hook that bounces hard off Jeri's face, stopping her in her tracks. Charlize stepping in with a shoulder butt to the chest, puts Jeri on her heels and as Ryan steps back, another crashing hook bangs back her head. RYAN CRASHING TO HER BACK, this time badly hurt, and she will not get up. KO9 Charlize Theron as she stops the uprising in spectacular fashion.

Gutsy effort by Ryan, badly outclassed early, but not getting discouraged, and fighting well enough to give Charlize some anxious moments. Charlize rediscovering her one-punch power, clearly rattled after having been knocked down by the journeywoman Ryan in the sixth.
