BLONDE AMBITION AT THE ASYLUM: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

Posted by HBO's Boxing At The Asylum on Sep 30, 2020 at 6:37am

The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Cassie Scerbo, Chloe Bennet, Ariel Winter, Britney Spears, Neve Campbell, Pink, Grace Park, and Alison Brie. To his right sit Kara Del Toro, Sophie Mudd, Kennedy McMann, Anna Torv, Leelee Sobieski, Kesha, and Emily Osment.

Man In The Hat: "OK. As usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. Let's start with Pretty Little Punchers for agreeing to have Ms. Benson on this card. That was a great fight and a great Front Street debut for Cassandra Lynn and we appreciate it. And, let's thank our indie fighters. The backbone of Asylum. Couldn't do it without 'em. And, of course, we can't forget the FCBA Commission for sanctioning these fights and making Asylum possible. Now. Questions. Cable Boy. Go!"

HBO Reporter: "I'll start with your two new lightweights, Kara and Kennedy. Both getting results tonight, but I'd have to assume Kara's a little ahead in the pecking order off Kennedy's PPV loss to Benoist..."

Man In The Hat: "With first-year fighters, we don't worry all that much about the pecking order. We kind of want to get some data points before we concern ourselves with that kind of stuff. That being said, however, I'm very pleased with what we've seen so far from Kara and Kennedy. Very. We have three lightweight contenders right now, and I think these ladies have a chance to push them. And, maybe sooner than you'd think. Cable Boy II. Go!"

Showtime Reporter: "Let's talk about your bantams. Sophie and Chloe were both in there tough tonight, and, while it's no surprise to see Bennet handle that, Mudd's a relative newbie, so..."

Man In The Hat: "Chloe is, as you've said, up to any challenge the bantamweight division can provide. There's a reason she's sitting at the top of our pecking order and very close to the top of the rankings. But, we talked last month about you not sleepin' on some of our newer girls. Don't sleep on Sophie Mudd. She has all the tools she needs to be a bantamweight champion. She's getting better every time out there. We're very happy with what we've seen of her. Very. And, you'll be seeing a lot MORE of Sophie Mudd. Count on it. Tess, dear, go ahead."

Tess: "You've been talking title shots the last couple of months, and one of the girls who has to be in that discussion is Ariel, who looked pretty good tonight..."

Man In The Hat: "No doubt about either of those assertions. Ms. Winter is definitely in the thick of things when it comes to the flyweight belts, and, as usual, she was plenty impressive tonight. Obviously, it's been a while since their first fight, but Pelas DID win that fight. And, Ms. Winter made sure that didn't happen again. Emphatically. Now. Dinner time. Smackeroo! Take us there!"

Reporter: "Speaking of girls in the flyweight title picture, it looks like you have another one in Cassie..."

Man In The Hat (grinning): "I've had a lot of great moments since we established Front Street Boxing. But, one of the very best of those was the night Cassie won the title. And, another of the very best of those was the day she signed to fight for us. Tonight ranks right up there. Her debut fight and a huge win over a very good fighter. We have plans. BIG plans. Not just for Cassie, but for the whole flyweight division. I think our flyweight division can rival ANY flyweight division in the FCBA. ANY flyweight division..."

Cassie: "That's because it DOES!"

(Laughter)

Man In The Hat: "You heard the girl. Now. Dinner time. Tess! Smackey! Limo!"
