BEFORE:

"I thought," Chrissy says with a smile, "That I did pretty well my first time here. I couldn't finish, though. And, that's what changes tonight."

"I like Chrissy," says Katy with a smile of her own. "But, when we get in the ring tonight, I'll have a job to do. After that, I'll go back to liking Chrissy again."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside with Cassandra Lynn rejoining us and that's 'Wild' by John Legend, and that can only mean that Mrs. John Legend, the lovely Chrissy Teigen, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "And, I'm not certain how Teigen got booked tonight, because she HAS an FCBA win. But. Just one. So, maybe THAT'S it..."

O'Dell: "Teigen wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe and the crowd showing appreciation for Chrissy in that azure number we've seen before..."

McCarthy: "Not BAD. Not J-Mac good, but, not bad..."

Tess: "Truck, bring out a new headset for Mac. Her head swelled again and broke this one..."

McCarthy: "You...I'll...SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and listen to 'California Gurls' as it pounds through the arena. And, here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Santa Barbara Slugger', Katy Perry!"

Cassie: "And, Katy no doubt pressing for another shot at the gold this year. Obviously, she's going to need to hold serve tonight to stay in the title picture."

O'Dell: "Perry into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. And, the crowd popping yet again for the lovely Ms. Perry in that red number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Katy. Mac?"

McCarthy: "ONE FCBA win. Perry."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous for the second time. Let's see if the ladies are right. Chrissy wants to step to and get to banging here, and Katy willing to bang with and HERE WE GO! Ladies firing away with both hands and TEIGEN ROCKS PERRY! Katy caught flush and DROPPED by a follow on right hand!"

McCarthy: "What a maroon! Why stand in there and bang with her?"

O'Dell: "That might be a good question. Teigen to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Katy sitting up at six. Seven. Eight. Perry to her feet. Ref going to give her the mandatory and WAIVE ON CHRISSY! And Teigen just buzz sawing at Katy now, backing her into the ropes..."

Tess: "I hate to admit Mac's right...but, I'm not sure why Perry would be in there slugging in the first round..."

O'Dell: "Might be a question for the presser, but, for right now, Katy's got bigger problems, as she's taking a thumping along the cables. Ref watching closely as Chrissy gets off in combination, landing to both head and body and giving Perry the business right to the bell. No doubt about this one. 10-8 Teigen."

Cassie: "And, a great start for Chrissy...but a long way to go."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway with Teigen coming forward. Perry giving ground, playing defense right now. She looks like she's shaken some of the damage, but the legs aren't all the way back yet, and Chrissy taking full advantage of that as she presses for what would be a HUGE upset..."

Cassie: "Katy getting some counters on."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, but it's Chrissy who's fighting lead, and she's getting a LOT of work done. Teigen has plenty of power, and she's bringing that to bear as much as she can, cleaning up effectively, all while looking to finish this thing. Perry tying up now, forcing the ref to get in and break them apart..."

McCarthy: "Cheap, delaying tactics. The kind of stuff CAMPBELL teaches!"

O'Dell: "We're down to about fifteen seconds to go in the round. Good combination again from Chrissy and Katy responds with her best flurry of the bout. ANOTHER sharp exchange there, with both fighters landing some hard shot and there's the bell. No doubt about it. Chrissy."

Tess: "And, Teigen is up 20-17 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back to work with Teigen pushing forward. Katy, though, holding her canvas now and firing back, then going to the jab to create distance. Perry looking like wanting ranged warfare here, and that might be a good option for the former champ, who's proven to be a very good boxer..."

McCarthy: "This is what she should have been doing TO START WITH..."

O'Dell: "If you remember, Mac, Katy was, pretty much, a brawler in her early days...channeled some of that in the first. Of course, THAT Perry wasn't the championship-level fighter that THIS one is, and you're seeing the difference right now, as the singer works the jab, lands rights off it..."

Tess: "Teigen doing OK on these terms, though..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. She's not getting sloppy. She's playing defense well, keeping the feet and hands moving, looking for spots to get off and then doing it. Ten seconds remaining. SHARP exchange right there and both ladies landed a good right. And, there's the bell. Close this time, but Perry."

Cassie: "And, Katy back within two, down 29-27."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies working at range in the fourth. Perry with that heavy Front Street Jab.."

McCarthy: "IT. IS. A. JAB. EVERY fighter has one!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Perry working that left, trying to enforce distance. Chrissy angling, getting off in combination when she gets to spots, then stepping to to work some body."

Tess: "This is good stuff from Teigen. Taking what she can get. Not forcing anything."

O'Dell: "And, it's working for her. She's got the lead in this fight and she's giving as good as she gets here in the fourth. Good exchange there, with both fighters landing some hard shot. Perry gives a little ground, goes back to the left hand, Chrissy again angling, getting off in combination..."

Cassie: "I'm impressed with Teigen to this point. She's 35 now, so, it's probably too late, but, you wonder what would have happened if she'd gotten some management and a push..."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking off the clock in the fourth. Another sharp exchange and, once again, both fighters landing some sharp leather. Ten seconds to go. Perry jabbing, Chrissy a good right hand, and there's the bell. Close again, but Teigen gets the points in this stanza..."

McCarthy: "And, she extends her lead to 39-36."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins the way the fourth ended, with the ladies at range and Perry now turning up the work rate. Katy doubling and tripling that jab, controlling Teigen with it, following on with hard right hands, forcing Chrissy to the defensive. All of a sudden, the model is on the back foot..."

Tess: "And, that's not where she wants to be. Teigen's no counter-puncher."

O'Dell: "She's not, but that's what she's being reduced to now, as Perry's getting things rolling in a big way. Katy backing Chrissy up again with a sharp flurry. Teigen trying to get the feet set, hold some canvas, but she can't get it done. Instead, Perry forcing her back yet again..."

McCarthy: "THIS is what Perry should have done from the start."

O'Dell: "Certainly working well for her at the moment. GOOD combination there from Katy, and that got Chrissy's attention. Teigen again backed up with a good flurry from Perry. Katy really in rhythm now. She lands ANOTHER sharp combination and there's the bell. No doubt about that one. Perry. Wide."

Cassie: "And, once again, Perry cuts the lead to two, 48-46."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Katy rolling as we start the sixth. She's got the jab working, she's keeping Chrissy on the defensive, and she's loading up solid right hands and she ROCKS TEIGEN WITH ONE! Chrissy wobbles and covers up and now the former champion is letting the hands go..."

Cassie: "Chrissy in DEEP trouble..."

O'Dell: "Katy driving her into the ropes with a blizzard of hard leather. Teigen with the guard high. Perry not buying the body she's putting on sale at ANY price. Instead, she's working exclusively upstairs, pounding away at the model's guard, looking to finish this thing right now..."

McCarthy: "Chrissy doing well defensively..."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. She's rolling with, blocking, keeping that guard tight, but some heavy leather's getting through and Teigen's doing very well to ship it and stay afloat. Ten seconds to go. SHARP combination from Katy there, and there's the bell. Perry's got it wide. But, Chrissy's still standing."

Tess: "And still leading 57-56."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Perry after Teigen as we start the seventh. Former champ backing up the model with hard leather as Chrissy gives ground, covers up, plays for time. But, Katy determined to finish this thing as she keeps up a steady pressure, sitting down on her punches, and landing some heavy shot..."

Tess: "If Teigen can ride this out, she may win this fight, but, that's going to be easier said than done..."

O'Dell: "Katy backs up Chrissy with a solid combination. Teigen doing well to stay off the ropes right now. She's blocking, slipping, doing all she can to weather this storm and DOWN GOES CHRISSY! Oh, what an overhand right by Katy and Teigen is down and maybe out!"

Cassie: "That will do it..."

O'Dell: "Perry to a neutral corner. Chrissy face down in the middle of the ring not moving at all. Count at three. Four. Five. This is going to be academic as Cassandra Lynn predicted. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Teigen still down and unmoving as the count passes her by and it's OVER. And your winner by KO7 is 'The Santa Barbara Slugger' Katy Perry!"

McCarthy: "Right fight plan, she'd have had her out of there inside three!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Katy Perry, and, Katy, she landed some stuff early..."

Katy (nodding): "She's got some power, and I maybe got too aggressive early. Should have gotten right into my fight plan. But, give her credit. She's better than people think, and she can HIT."

Cassie: "What's next for you?"

Katy: "Still looking to get a shot at those belts. So, whoever is next, well. She's next."
