AMANDA CERNY VS. ADRIANA LIMA

(Words: Holloway / Results: Lookout!)

Tonight we have quite an exciting match between a former Victoria's Secret model and one of the most famous Instagram models right now! While there's a decade in age difference between these two, both women have incredible bodies that they're showing off in their outfits tonight!

Amanda's coming off a huge win last month where she took down former Lightweight Champion Alessandra Ambrosio, who Lima lost two just a few months ago. She's an up-and-coming boxer who's looking to get a title match. Lima's starting to get old but she's still one of the highest ranked women on the league.

ROUND 1

The younger girl is excited. You can clearly tell by just looking at her eyes. She basically jumps out of her corner and blasts through Lima's defense. She's clearly trying to show some dominance right from the get-go. Adriana's taken aback. She seems to have some problems with quicker opponents and Amanda's one of them. The Instagram model is throwing hard jabs to the face and body of her taller foe, pushing her against the ropes, where Lima can just try and defend herself.

ROUND 2

The second round starts in a similar way. Cerny's a very fit girl and isn't afraid to go all out. Adriana's no slouch herself and dodges and blocks most of her opponent's blows. Amanda and Adriana are basically going back and forth this round trying to see who can take the most damage. After a few minutes of these, the round finally ends, with Lima barely taking it on points.

ROUND 3

Both fighters had their moments last round, and the same can be said about this one. These two women have very similar bodies, with Adriana being 3 inches taller, but Amanda being much younger than her opponent, so they're both landing some jabs in each other's body, keeping an eye out for some opportunities, looking to get a good shot. But that chance doesn't come this round, which Amanda seems to take this time.

ROUND 4

Lima and Cerny meet midring once again with Adriana taking over the offence, getting after her foe all over the ring. Adriana's going all out this time and a quick hook to the temple gets her the chance to do some damage to her opponent's body. Lima launches a left hook to the ribs of her opponent and follows it up with a cross to the abs. Cerny's body's toned but Adriana's a strong girl. A left punch sends the Instagram model flying to a corner and Adriana keeps working her body there until the bell rings.

ROUND 5

Amanda looks hurt. Adriana looks happy. The younger girl walks off her corner carefully, now aware of her opponent's prowess, but Adriana's not going to wait for her to do the first move. She jumps off her corner and goes for the kill. Cerny puts up her guard but Lima goes right through it. A hook to the face is followed by a two-punch combo to the core, then another one to the nose. Amanda's trying to defend herself but it's too hard. Lima has her. The younger woman's legs are shaking, her guard is nowhere to be seen. Lima goes all out for the last minute, throwing everything she has at her, but Cerny won't go down! She somehow manages to take the beating of a lifetime without a knockdown. Adriana looks frustrated, but ready to end it all in the next round.

ROUND 6

Amanda's slower this round. Lima's smiling. The taller model comes close to her foe trying to work the younger girl's body. Cerny's still hurt from the last round but she's taking it like a champ. She's covering up, taking quite a beating, but getting a quick jab every once in a while. As time goes by, Amanda starts getting more punches in. She's outboxing Lima. She looks determined and not quite ready to go down just yet, Lima looks surprised. The two models go at it for another minute but Cerny's taking over. She bullies her foe into a corner where she finally gets some payback! The bell rings and now the tables have turned. Cerny's the one celebrating.

ROUND 7

After the unexpected comeback from last round, Cerny looks more motivated, but Lima's not about to lose to this newer girl. She's keeping her distance, throwing some strong jabs at her opponent's body, but Amanda counters with a powerful hook to the ribs that goes right under Lima's guard, then an uppercut to the chin quickly sends Adriana to the canvas!

Cerny backs down, clearly as shocked as Lima! The brazilian tries to get up but that punch really hurt her! She can't make the count! It's over!

Official Decision: Amanda Cerny beats Adriana Lima KO7!

"Yes! Hell yes! I knew I could do it. These old models are a thing of the past. Girls like Anllela and me are the future of the FCBA and I just proved it. If this win doesn't get me in the top 10, I don't know what will. Maybe I'll have to take Taylor's belt. We'll see. In the meanwhile, I'll enjoy myself. I think I've earned it" says Amanda Cerny, about the match.
