Kendall Jenner versus Mary Elizabeth Winstead

(Foxfire Boxing vs Girls Friday)

Intro:

The rivalry between Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Kendall Jenner adds another chapter, this time they step onto Muscle Beach to do battle.

Mary is 34 years old; she stands 5'8, holding a record of 63 wins, 57 coming by way of knockout, with 45 defeats, she is a former three time FCBA lightweight champion.

Kendall is 23 years old; she stands 5'10 ½, holding a record of 34 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 8 defeats, she is a former FCBA lightweight champion.

These two have fought three times; first time was the 29th December 2017, a santa-kini fight which is MEW's speciality, Kendall kept her lightweight title then by knocking out Mary in eight rounds.

One year later in the final of the lightweight title tournament to crown a new champ, Mary got revenge as she put out Kendall's lights in nine hard fought rounds.

The last time they fought ironically was a beach boxing fight too, Kendall would again knockout Mary in eight rounds to take back the lead in this feud.

In the build up to this fight they both sit facing each other on the set of the FCBA Network with Lucy Liu sitting between them, they both smirk as they sit in nice dresses (red for Mary, a light blue one for Kendall) Lucy thanking both for coming.

Turning to Mary; Lucy asks her first about her feelings towards Kendall, the actress smiles as she says "Kendall is certainly something, she never does anything around here without needing it to be something big"

Smiling back as she listens; Kendall jokingly says "well why would you not want to do anything big in life? Wouldn't be fun right?" With the other two women chuckling.

"Too true; Kendall has made an impression in our fights, hence why I told Beth (Harnois) to accept this open challenge she put out, I wanted another chance to see who really is the better woman between us" admits Mary with a big grin.

Nodding as she listens, Kendall replies "I have to admit that Mary is one of the people I have so much respect for, when I first stepped into the FCBA and heard people like Tess (Valmore) talking about her as this tough fighter, I wanted to show she wasn't, she proved I was wrong to doubt that"

She continues "while I respect you Mary, I have my foot on your throat in our rivalry and I am not going to let the pressure off" Mary expression turns dark as she nods.

"Oh I understand that's what you want to do, the thing is I am not going to simply bow to you, ask Vonnie on that fact, every time someone knows me down I punch my way through obstacles" Mary tells Kendall as she sits forwards, fists clenched.

Kendall stands up and stares down at Mary; telling her "Mary I like you and I agree most times you find a way to overcome, you won't overcome me though and I will enjoy posing with my foot on your throat when I beat you again" heading off the set with a swagger to her step.

With Mary smiling as she turns to Lucy to say "oh I can't wait to extinguish her fire and make her admit I am better then her" winking as she gets up to leave.

Fighting time; the set up sees the ring posts stuck into the sand itself, a sold out crowd in the bleachers that surround the ring and a judges table nearby.

First onto the beach is Mary with coach Virginia Madsen, Mary is wearing a metallic blue coloured bikini and matching gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring with a big smile on her face, Mary mounts the bottom ropes of her corner, flexing her arms as she winks to her fans, hoping down to the sand as she begins to warm up.

Kendall now struts onto the beach with Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro behind her, she is wearing white bikini with orange trim, orange gloves and her hair is tied back into a braid.

Stepping into the ring; Kendall blows kisses to the crowd as she does a lap inside the ring, settling into her corner where she goes through her warm up routine with her eyes firmly on her opponent.

Coming to the center of the ring due to orders from the referee, the two fighters square up as they touch foreheads, while they might like each other outside the ring, clearly inside it they see the other as being in their way for greatness and gold.

Swiping their gloves together as they are keen to get started, returning to their corners with their fists up, the referee signals for the bell to begin 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:

At the bell they come to the center of the ring, trading probing punches as they show respect for each others talents, not rushing in as they know how good their opponent is.

Kendall is landing the stiffer jab of the two, using her slight reach advantage as she looks comfortable on the outside, while Mary looks for ways to get in closer.

Dipping down Mary comes in close to land a right to the body, opening up as she forces the action in tight, Kendall grunting out as her body is worked over.

Forcing Kendall to shove Mary back at range, the younger fighter throwing more punches at the head of her opponent to try to knock her back.

But she misses with a straight and gets an overhand left across her face, Kendall now has Mary in her face knocking her back towards the ropes.

Covering up as Kendall moves side to side late in the round, when the bell rings Mary smiles as she turns to return to her corner, while Kendall thuds her gloves together as she heads to her corner.

Round 2:

Out come both fighters trading single punches at the bell; Mary looking more aggressive as she steps in closer to her opponent, forcing more exchanges.

With Kendall catching Mary to the side of her face with her right as she steps to the side, with Kendall starting to back Winstead up to the outside of the ring.

Mary having a harder time moving to the inside, getting caught to the face by Kendall's straight shots, with the model keeping the center of the ring to keep Mary at range.

With Mary needing to dip down so she can dodge a punch, then gets in close so she can fight where she wants to, pushing back Kendall with several punches to her face.

But a left catches Mary to the side of her head, Kendall moving to the side again to land another two punches into the side of the smaller woman's face.

When the bell rings it is Kendall this time jogging back to her corner with a small smile on her face, both looking more relaxed as they sit down, feeling warmed up now.

Round 3:

Fighting around the ring more as they throw more punches now, Kendall slams a double jab into the nose of her opponent to keep her at arms length.

Leading to Kendall again taking the center of the ring, while Mary is blocking more punches, she is struggling to fight out of her guard as Kendall pins her behind her gloves.

Till Mary is able to duck under a left cross; she hammers in body shots as she looks to power back Kendall onto a set of ropes, with the model needing to pull Mary behind her head to get into space.

Drilling more punches into the face of Winstead, Jenner is starting to get control of the round again, stopping the actress from being able to get in closer, forcing her to fight at the range Kendall wants.

Late in the round though Mary deflects a straight so she can move in closer to land an overhand right, turning the younger woman's face around, then pressing Kendall towards a corner.

The bell rings with both women taking a moment to stare each other down, then turns back to their corners, Taryn telling Kendall that she is doing a good job so far, things will far into place soon enough.

Round 4:

Moving more on her toes; Mary is looking to find an opening to strike, with Kendall doubling up her jab to keep the fight where she wants it.

Mary finds the opening; feinting with her left before throwing a straight into the mouth of her opponent, landing an overhand left to force Kendall back behind her gloves.

Moving in tight; Mary drives Kendall behind the outside of the ring, with Mary targeting the body of the model as she looks to wear her down, forcing Kendall to pull her into a clinch.

After being broken apart; Kendall is able to get in several punches between the mitts of Mary to her face, moving around the older fighter as she looks to gain back control.

But Winstead gets back at Kendall by slamming a straight into her body, then two hooks up top as Kendall is forced on the defensive as seconds tick away in the round.

At the bell both women are marked up as they sit on their stools, their coaches washing them down as both admit they wish the other wasn't as tough, Mary winks though when she does it.

Round 5:

Both seem to have found another gear as they start off more aggressive, they both go toe to toe in tight as they rub heads.

Mary working the body with two punches to back up Kendall, who uses her left forearm to nudge back Mary, KENDALL THEN CATCHES MARY WITH A RIGHT HOOK TO THE JAW TO SEND HER TO THE SAND!

Kendall raising her right fist as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Mary shakes her head as she gets to all fours, 5...6... Getting to a knee, Mary looks at the referee as she rubs her jaw, 7...8.. Beating the count with a nod at the referee.

When they are ordered to fight; Kendall steps forwards with straight punches aimed at the head of Mary, who covers up as she looks to shake off the knockdown.

As she eats a right across her jaw again; Mary pulls Kendall into a clinch, with the referee needed to pry them apart, Mary using the separation to move around the ring and waste time till to the bell rings.

Jogging back to her corner; Kendall gets a smile from Taryn, who tells her to punish Mary the next round, while Mary has water poured over her head as Virginia works to get her fully ready for the next round.

Round 6:

Moving out her corner with a thud of her gloves; Kendall is looking to end the fight now as she stalks Mary around the outside of the ring, throwing punches towards the face of the actress.

Stepping in close she throws two body shots in as she tries to open up the guard of Winstead, pressing Mary towards the outside of the ring.

Mary throws an overhand right to the side of the models head, throwing to the body of Kendall as she fights back, they trade on the inside as they try to shove each other backwards.

Using her left forearm to nudge back Mary, Kendall lands a right across the face of Winstead, a left following to open a cut on the lip of the Foxfire fighter to add to her troubles.

Leading to Kendall keeping Mary pinned behind her guard, when she is landing Mary pulls Kendall into clinches to stop the charge of Jenner.

The bell rings with Kendall heading back to her corner, Taryn telling her not to be too worried that she hasn't stopped Mary yet, just to keep plugging away.

Across the ring Mary has her face washed down, her bottom lip cleaned up by Virginia, who is telling her fighter that she needs to get back into the fight before it passes her by.

Round 7:

Coming out this round Mary starts to open back up, forcing Kendall into more heated exchanges as the two fighters let their hands go.

Two punches land to the bloody lips of Mary to force her back, Kendall stepping on the front foot as she tries to force Mary around the outside of the ring.

But when Kendall misses with a left hook as Mary dips down to land two hooks to the body, getting her head under Kendall's chin to drive back the youngster.

Who nudges her back so she can land a straight into the top of Mary's head, the action going back and forth as Mary is digging in to show her legendary toughness.

Late in the round Kendall goes to land a straight, when she misses Mary catches her with an uppercut that sends her head back, the Foxfire fighter knocks Kendall onto the ropes as she throws punches across her face till the bell rings.

Kendall shakes her head as she returns to her corner, Eva needing to work on reducing swelling around the cheeks of their fighter as Taryn tells her not to worry.

Mary on the other hand is nodding to Virginia as she is told to keep coming at Kendall, the simple advice is simply to keep hurting Kendall when she gets in close.

Round 8:

Boxing near the center of the ring; Mary gets caught to the face with several clean shots as Kendall looks to move around her, up on her toes looking to wrestle back control of the action.

Dipping down Mary slips a right cross to land an uppercut to the body of Kendall, an overhand left strikes Kendall plum on the chin to make her stumble towards the ropes.

A little desperation shows in Kendall's expression as she tries to keep Mary off her, INSTEAD MARY SLIPS A RIGHT HOOK AND LANDS AN UPPERCUT ON THE BUTTON, KENDALL'S LEGS CRUMBLE AS SHE FALLS TO THE SAND!

"Come on!" Roars Mary before she turns to a neutral corner, 1...2...3... Kendall turns to her back slowly, blinking as she tries to clear her vision, 4...5...6.. Kendall tries to push herself up, 7...8.. But her legs give way and she tumbles back to her back, 9....10 that's all she wrote for Kendall this fight!

Winner Mary Elizabeth Winstead KO Round 8

After:

A massive knockout for Mary as she gets ties up the rivalry with Kendall, she turns and mounts the bottom ropes of the corner she is in, hands in the air before hoping down to the beach.

While Taryn and Eva rush into the ring; they check on Kendall as she blinks, clearly still rocked by the knockout punch, Eva putting smelling salts under her nose to fully wake her up.

When she sees Kendall wide awake; Mary nudges Taryn and Eva aside so she can place her foot on Kendall's throat; not really pressing on it, more a symbolic gesture as she tells Kendall "now whose got their foot on the others foot?"

Posing for cameras for a moment with arms flexed, while she puts her foot on Kendall's chest, Mary blows her a kiss before returning to her corner to be cleaned up.

Kendall is then helped up as she tells her corner crew "as much as I respect her, god does she piss me f***ing off" Taryn nodding as Eva looks worried for Kendall's blood pressure as the young woman's face turns red.

Both women are washed down of sand and given a drink, eyes locked across the ring as their ill feelings towards one another don't seem to have washed away as in the past.

When they step to the ring center; Mary raises her right fist towards Kendall as her left is lifted up, with Kendall scowling at the winner.

"Mary I'll get you back; you know that right bytch?" Asks Kendall as she stands hands on hips, with Mary getting into her face, leading to both women touching foreheads.

"Oh I'll keep fighting you darling Kenny, be careful what you ask for as I am not gonna let you take the lead ever again in our feud" answers Mary as the two women take a step back, nodding as if agreeing this is far from over for them.

The Girls Friday crew leave the ring bitterly disappointed for Kendall, her undefeated streak is over and questions are being asked whether she should stick with fighting top fighters or maybe take an easier fight to keep the engine ticking over.

While Mary poses for the cameras with arms in the air and her cheeky smile on show, Virginia hugs her afterwards as she tells her how proud she is of coming back from being down.

"You know I don't know how to stay down" jokes Mary with a wink, before the two of them leave the ring together with a smile, Mary will be watching closely you'd assume to the Swift vs Ren lightweight title fight, maybe hoping an Alexis Ren win will give her a shot at the gold.
