UD10 6 rounds to 4, Hennessy

Hardwoman Hennessy predicted a knockout of pretty Jennifer, and almost made good on the promise in a blitzkrieging first, but doe-eyed Morrison proved up to the task of matching her Southy-tough foe in a surprisingly entertaining, toe-to-toe scrap.

After stunning Jennifer and pursuing her all over the ring in a wildly one-sided first, Hennessy settled in like a classic Irish brawler, galloping to Jennifer’s slender ribs and flat tummy with a near constant two-fisted attack, Morrison was game, but badly outfought over the first halfm busted up and worked over by her relentless foe along the ropes.

The second half was a different story however as Morrison not only hurt Hennessy to the body in vicious two-way exchanges, she dented that stubborn irish chin to back Jill up in the 8th and 9th frames. Still toe to toe, it was Jennifer pressing the attack against a grimacing and confused Hennessy at the ropes—slender arms pumping back and forth underneath—small gloves ringing out against fat-free brunette bodies.

In the end, Hennessy’s overall consistency and will prevailed, but the 6-4 scoring was indicative of Jennifer’s surprising effort. Both women left the fight scuffed up and wanting more—a sure sign of competitive contest.
