BEFORE:

"Yeah, I know you heard this one before," says Rebecca with a smile, "But, the last time I was here, I fought a champion. And, this girl is no champion."

"Rebecca is right," says Antje with a smile of her own. "I'm not a champion. YET."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Darling Nikki' you hear behind us and the voice you hear is, of course, not that of The Purple One, but of the lovely lady coming to ringside right now, Mystique herself, Rebecca Romijn..."

McCarthy: "Who's about to prove what I always say, that age ain't nothin' but a number."

O'Dell: "Rebecca into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's certainly turning heads in that silver and black number..."

McCarthy: "And, THAT'S what I'm TALKING about!"

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Heads Will Roll' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs you hear behind us, and that can only mean that 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard, is on her way to the ring..."

Tess: "Heads may, INDEED, be about to roll around here, and Utgaard's might well be one of them..."

Cassie: "No question this is a big fight for Utgaard, and, I suspect all the OTHERS she has this year will be just as big."

O'Dell: "Antje into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she is ROCKING that stars and stripes number we've seen before..."

Cassie: "Crowd sure seems to like it..."

McCarthy: "If I got up there, they'd go INSANE..."

Tess: "SOMEBODY is insane..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Antje. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Nothin' but a number! Rebecca!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Ladies setting up at range, working those long left hands and Romijn lands a HARD right hand that got Utgaard to cover up! Big Becky can still hit, and she's letting the hands go early, letting the younger woman have it with flurry after flurry of hard, accurate stuff."

Tess: "Might as well go for it. No percentage in trying to outlast a girl two decades younger."

O'Dell: "Utgaard on the back foot right now, and Rebecca aiming to keep her there. Older woman throwing a ton of suppressive fire at Utgaard, who can't get out of neutral right now. Younger fighter not hurt, but she's reduced to firing back in counter as Romijn fights lead."

McCarthy: "This is not a good look for yet another Weirdo Welterweight Failure."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in the first, and it's been a great start for Rebecca Romijn, who's showing anybody with doubts that she can still fight. Ten seconds left. SHARP exchange there and both fighters landed some hard shot. And there's the bell. No doubt it's Romijn and wide."

Cassie: "And, the veteran is up 10-9 after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Romijn back to work with the jab and Antje now firing back! FIREFIGHT in the middle of the ring as both of these big girls are letting the hands go and ANTJE RINGS BECKY UP! Romijn takes a couple of steps backward after a HARD right from Antje..."

Cassie: "Something had to give there. Girls this big trading bombs..."

O'Dell: "Utgaard winging away at the older woman, backing her up. Romijn countering, but now it's Antje fighting lead and Big Becky on the back foot. And, give Romijn credit for taking that punch and remaining on her feet, because about 90 percent of the women in the FCBA would have been on their backs."

Tess: "Not only did she take it, she shook it off."

O'Dell: "But, it still changed the complexion of the fight, because it's been Antje on the offensive and the older woman on the defensive ever since. Ten seconds to go in the second, and Utgaard finishing this strong, backing Romijn up with a good flurry at the bell. Utgaard. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third starts the way the first two did. Ladies at range making with the jab. Both trying to set up hard right hands with those long, accurate lefts, and both having success doing it right now. Good combination by Romijn right there, sent sweat flying with that right hand."

Cassie: "Just remarkable how heavy Utgaard's jab is. I know we talk about that Front Street Jab..."

McCarthy: "Which, as I say all the time, is a JAB and every fighter HAS one..."

O'Dell: "No doubt Utgaard's may be the heaviest of all the Front Street bigs. You can see how she not only STOPS an opponent with it, but can actually back them up a step. Meanwhile, Romijn getting plenty of mileage out of her own long left hand at the moment, as she puts punches together well."

Tess" "Getting the better of things at the moment, it says here."

O'Dell: "Not by a lot, but, she is, indeed, as we head into the final seconds of the round. NICE exchange right there, as both fighters land some heavy shots and nobody backs up a step! Instead, ANOTHER sharp exchange that leads us to the bell. Good, two-way round, but, as Tess said, it's Romijn close and Big Becky is back up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Right back to range in the fourth. Ladies setting up behind those long, accurate jabs and using them to set up follow on right hands. Romijn a nice combination right there and Antje fires back with a flurry of her own. Good, two-way action right now as both fighters get their offense going."

Cassie: "Faster pace than you're used to seeing at welter."

O'Dell: "No doubt about that. Both ladies moving the feet, head, and hands. Nobody just standing in place banging away. Nice right hand from Romijn got Antje's attention and a BOOMING RIGHT HAND FROM UTGAARD SENDS REBECCA CRASHING TO THE CANVAS!"

Tess: "Wow! What a shot!"

O'Dell: "Set that up with the heavy left jab. Banged the head back and the right landed behind the glove. Utgaard to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Romijn flat on her back and not moving. Six. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen for Big Becky. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 in one-punch fashion is 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. Punch."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Antje Utgaard, and, Antje, lot of heavy shot tossed around in there tonight."

Antje (nodding): "Yeah. She can hit. She's physical. She's also good technically. Not any easy night for anybody. But, when it comes to physical, there's everyone else in this division and then there's ME."

Tess: "Any worries about your spot on the Tenth Anniversary roster?"

Antje (shrugging): "Management knows what I am. If it isn't smart enough to keep me, then, someone else will be smart enough to grab me."
