SUPERHEROINES AT THE ASYLUM III: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"No, I am NOT happy about fighting some no-name girl," says a smoldering Anne. "I should be in there with Perry or Hill, not THIS girl. But. They'll all pay for this slight. When I knock her SILLY."

"Oh, she wants a better class of opponent, does she," asks a hard-eyed Kara. "Well. She's about to find out just how much class THIS opponent has."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Somebody to Love' you hear, but that's not Grace Slick singing, it's the lovely brunette coming to the ring right now, Anne Hathaway!"

McCarthy: "And, allow me to say AGAIN that Grace Slick SUCKS!"

Tess: "For any NEW fans tuning in, Mac is upset with Grace, because Ms. Slick took LEGAL ACTION to prevent Mac from singing..."

McCarthy: "JUST ONE SONNNNGGGGGGGG!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Anne into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking plenty good in that cobalt blue number, if fan reaction is any guide. And, that's 'Flawless' by The Ones you hear behind us, and here comes Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

McCarthy: "I'm STILL not clear on who 'The Ones' are..."

Cassie: "THIS is why Uncle Wiz put this fight first...so we'd have time to deal with this..."

Tess: "Kara, of course, coming off a big pay-per-view win."

O'Dell: "And, she's all business as she's quickly down the aisle and into the ring. Helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve and the crowd popping for that neon green bikini she prefers..."

McCarthy: "If I get up there, they'll blow the roof off this place!"

O'Dell: "Aaaannnddd, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kara. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Hathaway HAS FCBA wins. She'll beat this Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel to start the night. And, Hathaway out to make Mac look good early. She's stepping to Kara behind that long left jab, backing her up. Anne very aggressive here. Not a huge surprise, considering the tactics she used against Arterton the last time she was here, but..."

Cassie: "Del Toro isn't an elite light like Gemma..."

O'Dell: "Exactly. So, it isn't like Anne's in a 'not much to lose' situation here. But, she's clearly damning most torpedoes. Not being unsound at all, but she IS being uber aggressive and not worrying too much about defense. Kara willing to give ground here and let the older woman fight lead..."

Tess: "And, you may have hit on something right there. Hathaway giving up over a decade here. Might not want to take this into deep waters..."

McCarthy: "Or, she might be trying to make her mark early, pile up a lead."

O'Dell: "Whatever the thinking, it's working for the moment for Anne. She's been in control of this thing from the opening bell, backing up the younger woman, landing hard shot with both hands. Kara not hurt, but she's definitely taking the worst of it. There's the bell. First round to Anne and wide."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and Hathaway continuing to work forward. Meeting more resistance from Kara now, though. Del Toro still giving some ground, but she's banging back hard, scoring much better than she did in the first round. Some sharp exchanges developing here ladies..."

McCarthy: "Hathaway getting the better of things, still on the front foot."

O'Dell: "But being made to pay a price by the younger woman. Kara scoring much better in this stanza, though, as Mac points out, she's not yet been able to stop Anne's offensive, though she absolutely has slowed it down. GOOD right from Kara right there!"

Cassie: "THAT got Hathaway's attention."

O'Dell: "But, it didn't stop her. Older brunette continuing forward. She's determined to impose will right now, and, to a point, she's still doing it. Ten seconds remaining in the second. SHARP exchange right there and both brunettes landed solid shot at the bell. Closer. Still Hathaway."

Tess: "And Anne now with a 20-18 lead."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third beginning the way the second ended with Anne again coming forward. Kara still giving some ground, making the older woman pay a price and then ROCKING HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! OH, a NASTY right from Del Toro and Anne is steppin' in fence post holes in a BIG way!"

Tess: "Did very well to stay on her feet after that one..."

O'Dell: "And Kara trying to make sure she doesn't remain there. Del Toro switched to forward gear and begins hammering away. A wobbly Anne being forced back, back, back, then pinned to the ropes. Kara working body now as Anne keeps the guard high to try to ride this out."

McCarthy: "Just hang in there. This kid is clueless. You'll be fine."

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds to go in the third. Del Toro upstairs and back down, trying to put stop to this, but unable to do so. Ref looking in closely, but Anne doing enough to keep him at bay. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Hathaway survives, but Del Toro grabs it wide."

Cassie: "And, Anne still on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Del Toro on the advance now. She's getting the jab on, walking Anne down behind it. Hathaway trying to slow her down and GETS NAILED AGAIN! Kara with that solid right hand and she's got Hathaway's legs shaking. Anne covering up as Kara steps to and lets the hands go..."

Cassie: "In case anyone hasn't already noticed in her previous fights, Del Toro has some POWER."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it, and Anne's feeling it right now. She's hammering away to head and body, backing Hathaway into the ropes again and going back to the body. Anne trying to tie up, but Kara's shrugging her off, going right back to the body. She is TENDERIZING some tummy right now..."

McCarthy: "Ought to be working upstairs to finish. Dumb. Like her trainers!"

O'Dell: "Kara going upstairs some, but working right back down. She's working the ribs now, then landing a nice right hand to the head. Again, Hathaway tying up, but, again, being shoved off by Del Toro. GOOD right by Kara shakes Anne and puts the referee on alert, but there's the bell. Shutout, Del Toro."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Kara forward and Anne backward to start the fifth. Hathaway has been taking a thumping since the third round, and that's not changing now, as it's Del Toro sitting down on punches and giving her older rival a beating. Anne game, hanging in, firing back in spots and DROPPED BY A RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "What a SHOT!"

O'Dell: "Kara to a neutral corner. Anne flat on her back. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Hathaway rolling to hands and knees. Seven. Eight. Anne to her feet at nine. Ref going to check her carefully as he gives her the mandatory. And, he waives on Kara."

Cassie: "And Del Toro on a mission now!"

O'Dell: "No doubt. She's tossing blizzards of leather at Hathaway. Anne again backed into the ropes, high guard, being buffeted by the force of the leather banging away at her. Kara ignoring the body, ALL head now, ROCKS Anne with a straight right and IT'S OVER! Referee steps in and it's OVER! And your winner by TKO5 is Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch. Es."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kara Del Toro, and, Kara, another big win for you. It's been a pretty good start to your career..."

Kara (smiling): "Every day, I realize how lucky I am. No FCBA experience and I get a shot in a stable like this. So, every day, you work hard and you listen and you get better. And, then you get in the ring and you get results."

Tess: "And, you got them tonight."

Kara (nodding): "She gave me problems early. She's long and she can hit. I had to adjust. I did. And, when that happened, I got her. I knew I would. It was just a matter of time."
