BEFORE:

"I'm not surprised she got signed," says Emma with a shake of the head. "She became the flavor of the week somehow. It happens. But. Tonight, I'm going to prove a mistake was made. And, maybe it will get corrected."

"I'm going to correct something," says a hard-eyed Kennedy. "Emma's mistaken impression that she's not getting knocked out tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Candy Store' featuring the cast of the stage show 'Heathers' you hear behind us..."

McCarthy: "This isn't a bad song at all..."

O'Dell: "And, that tune is one of the favorites of the young lady coming to the ring right now, the lovely Emma Dumont!"

Cassie: "Dumont a girl who, probably, should have been in the FCBA by now..."

O'Dell: "She certainly thinks so. Brunette into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's looking pretty good in that azure bikini...."

McCarthy: "A little skinny for my tastes..."

Oh, the shark, babe

Has such teeth, dear...

McCarthy: "I'LL SUE! I'LL SUE! HE CAN'T DO THIS! I'LL SUE! SIRI, CALL MY LAWYER!"

Tess: "Once again, I'll remind Mac that the rights to Bobby Darin version of 'Mack The Knife' you're hearing was PURCHASED by the Grand Wizard of Boxing..."

McCarthy: "HE STOLE IT! HE STOLE IT! I'LL SUE! AND SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as McMann climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Redhead looking good in that lavender number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kennedy. Mac?"

McCarthy: "SHE'S A FRAUD! I'LL SUE! DUMONT!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel again. Let's see who's right. McMann aggressive early. She's stepping to Emma, backing her up with heavy shot. Dumont wants some range here and can't get it. She's got a bit of reach, but Kennedy walking right through her attempts to set up defenses."

Tess: "McMann has been very physical every time we've seen her, and that hasn't changed tonight."

O'Dell: "Definitely has not. She's continuing to push Emma back, push her around. Dumont can't get her feet set. She's countering here and there, but that's about all she's managed. Emma not hurt, but she's definitely taking the worst of things right now, as Kennedy's getting off lusty."

Cassie: "Dumont needs to solidify her front."

O'Dell: "Not having any success doing that at the moment. Instead, Kennedy in control as she has been for the entire round. Just seconds to go in the first. GOOD right hand from McMann right there and there's the bell. Not close at all in the first. All Kennedy, and she's got the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "McMann looking to work forward again, but now Dumont getting the jab on. She's keeping the redhead at bay with it. Using a back step to create range, and powdering Kennedy's face with jabs. This is good stuff from Emma. Very, very nice adjustment between rounds."

McCarthy: "Absolutely. McMann is a FRAUD and Dumont is going to BEAT her."

O'Dell: "Kennedy being frustrated right now. She can't get past that jab, and now Emma's able to set her feet and get distance. And, she's using that to score points and land punches in bunches. McMann not hurt, but she's taking an awful lot of fire from Dumont, who's suddenly on a roll."

Cassie: "McMann needs to take the foot of the pedal a little. Box with right now."

O'Dell: "Might well be, but that's not what she's doing. She's continuing to try to pressure, and it's absolutely not working. We're down to the final seconds, and it's been Emma right from the opening seconds. There's the bell. And, for the second straight round, not close. This time it's Dumont, though."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third now and Dumont setting up behind that jab. Now, McMann is dialing down the aggression. She's going to box with, and that means Emma's getting the terms she wants, at least for the moment. SHARP exchange right there, with both fighters landing solid shot..."

Cassie: "This is what I'm talking about. Kennedy can hold her own doing this."

O'Dell: "Certainly is at the moment, at least. We're seeing good, two-way action for the first time in this bout. Both of these ladies are rangy and both using that length effectively right now. Not a lot in it at the moment, but there's plenty of action going on, lots of leather being traded."

Tess: "No doubt about that."

O'Dell: "Thirty seconds to go in the third. Another sharp exchange, and both ladies landed a hard right hand in there. Nobody hurt, but everybody's attention gotten. Ten seconds left. Good combination by Emma and there's the bell. Very close, but I think Dumont's grabbed the points."

McCarthy: "And, she's got the lead, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins on the same terms as the third. Ladies settled in at range and boxing. Good stuff from both young ladies right now. Both showing good hand speed, good defense, moving the feet well. Is Dumont turning some heads right here, Mac?"

McCarthy: "McMann is a Dancing Hooker Fraud, so, it's not like she's beating somebody, but, I think you can see the kid has potential."

O'Dell: "Certainly looks that way. We're about midway through the round, and, again, not much in it. Both fighters scoring well at range, putting punches together. Nobody hurt, but some hard shot landing here and there, no question about that. GOOD exchange there and McMann got the better of that one..."

Cassie: "Emma's not matching power with Kennedy. But. She can box with her."

O'Dell: "Sure can. We're down under twenty to go in the fourth. Close round all the way and both ladies looking to steal points now, upping the work rate, tossing hard leather. GOOD exchange there at the bell with both heads being snapped back! Very close again. McMann."

Tess: "And, we're all even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We'll start the fifth and gunnery range. Dumont's had her terms for a while now, and it looks like she's going to be able to keep them. Redhead boxing with. Seems very comfortable doing this and has for the last couple of rounds. She's getting combinations put together as well as the brunette..."

Tess: "McMann can definitely do this. With the range, athleticism, and power she has, these are good terms for her."

O'Dell: "Nice combination from Emma. Dumon't been impressive the entire way so far. She's got good hands and feet. She can punch and she can take a punch BUT SHE COULDN'T TAKE THAT ONE! RIGHT HAND FROM THE REDHEAD AND DOWN GOES EMMA!"

Cassie: "Like a lightning bolt!"

O'Dell: "McMann to a neutral corner. Emma down on her back forming the Maltese cross. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Brunette stirring a little at six, trying to sit up at seven but slumping back to the canvas! Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner, in one-punch fashion is Kennedy..."

McCarthy: "DON'T SAY IT!"

O'Dell: "'Mac The Knife' McMann!"

McCarthy: "I. WILL. SUUEEEEEEEE!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kennedy McMann, and, Kennedy, looked like Emma was able to fight the style she wanted..."

Kennedy (nodding): "She's long and has an accurate jab. I forced things early, but I didn't need or want to keep doing that. I can box. If you want to box, we'll do that. And, you saw what happened."

Tess: "In your last two fights, you've handled a physical welter and a slick light..."

Kennedy (smiling): "Yeah. Management wants to get me work. Help me develop. I'm good with it. Put whoever in front of me. I'll take care of business."
