BRUNETTE AMBITION AT THE ASYLUM III: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"Look, it hasn't been a great run for me," says a hard-eyed Barbara, "But, people KNOW what I can do...or, they SHOULD know. And, if they've forgotten, then I guess I'll just have to demonstrate!"

"No doubt she can fight at a high level," says Katy with a nod. "But, she's not beating ME. Not tonight. Not ANY night."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Irresistible' by Fall Out Boy you here behind us, and here comes the SI and VS beauty Barbara Palvin!"

McCarthy: "This girl MIGHT be hot enough for Playboy. Maybe. Maybe in some 'Girls Of' pictorial. Certainly NOT a centerfold..."

Tess: "What color is the sky in your world, Mac?"

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in the scene in the ring, as the lovely Ms. Palvin is helped off with the robe to reveal a chartreuse number that gets quite the pop from the crowd..."

McCarthy: "Charwhatnow?"

Cassie: "The level of your ignorance is, frankly, ALARMING..."

McCarthy: "THANK you!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Aaaannnnddddd, that's 'California Gurls' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Santa Barbara Slugger', Katy Perry!"

Cassie: "And, we keep saying this tonight, but, Perry another girl trying to stay in the title picture and keep up in a competitive Front Street lightweight division..."

O'Dell: "Katy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that red bikini we've seen before and the crowd likes what it's seeing..."

McCarthy: "Philly. LOW standards."

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Katy. Mac?"

McCarthy: "This Palvin kid's had a rough run, but, she's beaten people. Perry's a Dancing Hooker. Palvin!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel for the second time. Let's see who's right. Ladies setting up at range as we get going here and a nice combination by Katy and a BLISTERING COUNTER FROM PALVIN AND PERRY IS HURT! Just seconds in and Barbara keyholes a rejoinder and she's got the former champion in trouble!"

Tess: "Not sure how Perry's standing, because that was a TERRIFIC shot!"

O'Dell: "She may not be standing for LONG, because Palvin is all OVER the singer right now, backing her up, pinning her to the ropes and making with the heavy leather. Katy in a high guard, leaning back into the ropes as Barbara gets off lusty. Body on sale, but Palvin not buying..."

McCarthy: "Of COURSE not, because she wants to FINISH now..."

O'Dell: "Definitely looking for the 'off' switch. Hasn't found it, but might not need to, because the ref is looking in very closely. Perry jabbing back here and there, doing just enough to keep him at bay. Ten seconds left. Good flurry by Barbara there, but Katy's going to make the bell. There it is. No doubt about the cards. Shutout, Palvin."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Palvin coming forward to start the second. She's looking to clean up here, but Katy banging back, holding her canvas. Barbara thinking better of slugging with Perry and settles in to do some ranged boxing. Model getting punches put together and scoring well with both hands..."

McCarthy: "Smart adjustment. Doesn't need to push it right now."

O'Dell: "Katy seeming to have shaken the cobwebs now. She's putting punches together herself. Boxing with very well. Scoring with some hard shot. All of a sudden, we've gone from a shutout round to a two-way round with both fighters starting to get into a rhythm."

Cassie: "Impressed with how quickly Katy shook that off, and just as impressed that Barbara's gone right back to the fight plan."

O'Dell: "Sure has, and she's working it well. Patiently setting up punches, looking for openings. Perry doing the same. Not very much in it as we come down the stretch. Good exchange there and both fighters landed a hard right hand in it and there's the bell. Close. Perry."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third starts like the second ended. Ladies boxing at range. Palvin looking very, very good on these terms, as is Perry. Both ladies have length, both are athletic, and both have power. And, at the moment, neither is able to gain much of an advantage on the other..."

Tess: "I suspect these terms benefit Barbara more than Perry, though, because Palvin doesn't want to slug it out with Katy..."

Cassie: "Exactly, BFF. She's got power, as she showed in the first, but not like Katy has power."

O'Dell: "Right now, some power blows are landing here and there, but it's mostly about movement, head, hands, and feet, and about scoring points both with the right and that left jab. Both fighters showing a good one and making very good use of it in this third round..."

McCarthy: "Neither has a jab like Palicki's, though, and neither has THAT kind of power..."

O'Dell: "We're down under twenty seconds in a closely-fought round. Good flurry from Perry and she landed a nice right in there. Palvin responds with a nice combination of her own that forces Katy to cover up and there's the bell. Again a closely run thing. This time Barbara's round."

Cassie: "And, Palvin back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Right back to boxing. Perry and Palvin comfortable at range, working the jab, working the feet, angling, looking for opportunities to drop in a big right hand. Both brunettes have landed some hard shot, but, since the big one Palvin got home in the first, nobody's been hurt..."

Cassie: "Both fighters are sturdy, and both skilled and rolling with punches, too..."

O'Dell: "Indeed, and we've seen plenty of that so far in this one. Nice combination, Palvin there. And Katy responds with one of her own. For the third consecutive round, there's no much in it and DOWN GOES BARBARA! Out of nowhere, Perry lands an absolutely BRUTAL right hook!"

Tess: "Don't think she's getting up from that one..."

O'Dell: "Palvin down on her right side as Katy heads to a neutral corner. And, as Tess pointed out, she needn't hurry. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement at all from Palvin. Five. Six. Seven. This is academic. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Santa Barbara Slugger', Katy Perry!"

McCarthy: "That one MIGHT not have been lucky..."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Katy Perry, and, Katy, she caught you a big one in the first..."

Katy (nodding): "Absolutely did. Like I said in the pre-fight, she can fight at a very high level. And, she did that tonight. But, it wasn't going to be high enough when she was in there with me."

Cassie (smiling): "Are we going to be seeing more of you in the ring in 2020?"

Katy (smiling): "Well. YOU know who to ask about THAT."
