BRUNETTE AMBITION AT THE ASYLUM III: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"People questioned her quality in the past," says Keira with a smile. "Well, I never did. But, what I DID question and what I DO question is whether she can beat ME. And, the answer to that question is 'No!'"

"Keira's a test," says K-Stew with a nod. "There's no question about that. But, I've had tougher tests. And passed them."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Everything's Coming Up Roses' and here comes the singer of that tune, the lovely Keira Knightley!"

McCarthy: "You know, all these actresses need to STOP singing, because they SUCK at it!"

Tess: "Now is the time to, once again, point out that Mac was legally ENJOINED from singing..."

McCarthy: "JUST ONE SONG AND SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Keira climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe to reveal a maroon number and a body that's clearly been trained very well for this one..."

McCarthy: "Toothpick!"

O'Dell: "Aaaaannndd, that's 'Helter Skelter' by the Fab Four you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "FINALLY! A REAL fighter!"

O'Dell: "K-Stew with a nod to Mac on her way by the table. She's into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that lime green number we've seen before. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Stewart. Mac?"

McCarthy: "REAL fighter. Kristen!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Both fighters want range early and Keira landing a nice combination there and quickly following up to get K-Stew on the back foot. Knightley moving, angling, getting off quickly, and she's finding the target early. Definitely has Stewart on the defensive..."

McCarthy: "K-Stew will be fine. Just feeling this girl out."

O'Dell: "Right at the moment, what she's feeling is a lot of leather. Kristen not hurt, but she's definitely taking the worst of things. She can't get going at the moment. Stewart trying to get that left on and work off it, but Keira keeps managing to slip it and that's allowing her to get flurries going..."

Cassie: "Kris not getting the geometry right at the moment."

O'Dell: "And, that will likely change, knowing Stewart. But, not in time for it to matter in the first. Knightley's corner has to be thrilled with the start here. She's getting work done at range, outboxing one of the best boxers in the FCBA. And, there's the bell. No doubt. Keira wide."

Tess: "And Knightley is up 10-9."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and Stewart much more active with the jab now. She's getting it on target and it's changing the complexion of the fight. Now, it's Keira who's on the defensive. She's getting touched again and again with that left hand, and K-Stew is following that with hard right hands..."

McCarthy: "As I predicted, Stewart getting going."

O'Dell: "Definitely is, and she's putting Knightley on the wrong end of the boxing now. This is more like what we'd have expected to see on these terms, taking nothing from Keira. But, boxing at range against Stewart is usually a fool's errand, and it looks like one right now..."

Tess: "Keira being backed up some now."

O'Dell: "She is, because Kristen's got everything working. She's putting together SHARP combinations to the head, dropping the occasional hook to the body, and just all around giving Keira a beating. Ten seconds to go in the round. One more flurry from Kristen and there's the bell. Stewart. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "More aggression from Knightley now. She's not going to stay out on the end of that educated left jab. Instead, she's keeping the gloves high, dipping and slipping, working inside the jab to middle distances where she can get off offensively, and it's working pretty well..."

Cassie: "Definitely a nice adjustment."

O'Dell: "Knightley stepping inside, working some body. Stewart ties her up, but the British beauty shoves off, slips away, circles, gets back inside the jab to work in the middle again. Kristen trying to get some space, but her rival not about giving her any right now, ladies..."

McCarthy: "All good for Stewart. These tricks aren't going to work!"

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in the third, and they've worked for this round. Knightley has turned the fight for the second time and taken back control. Good combination, Keira, forces Stewart to cover up. Knightley goes body and there's the bell. Excellent round for the British beauty, who takes it wide."

Tess: "And, Keira's back up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Stewart working the feet some now. She's turning, using a drop step, looking to create space for that left jab. Keira continuing to move her own feet, getting to middle distances, working combinations, stepping to here and there. Good, two-way boxing now..."

Tess: "And the first time nobody's taken control of a round, at least so far."

O'Dell: "Nice combination, Kristen, working off that jab, stepping back, making Keira work hard to get inside range. Knightley finding time and space to do it, though. She's getting to her spots and getting off. Good stuff from both fighters in the fourth frame and not a lot in it."

Cassie: "Good example of what happens when talented, experienced fighters meet."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Everybody adjusting to everybody else and you're seeing just how skilled both ladies are. Good exchange there. Nobody really getting the better of it. Ten seconds to go. Knightley in close and Stewart ties her up and there's the bell. Close. Kristen."

McCarthy: "And, K-Stew evens it again at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Stewart making with the long left early. She's very busy with it. Keira trying to work past it, slipping and dipping and she took a NASTY hook right there! A right hook from Kristen! Knightley not hurt, but that got her attention and stopped her cold and now Stewart has her going backward..."

McCarthy: "Look how accurate K-Stew is! She's landing everything!"

O'Dell: "Definitely is right now. She's got Keira on the defensive, covering up. Kristen winging flurry after flurry at her rival. Keira firing back here and there, but she's on the back foot and Stewart is keeping her there with an excellent, sustained offensive that's plenty impressive..."

Cassie: "That's what K-Stew can do. So precise. When she gets the range, you're gonna get hit a lot."

O'Dell: "Down to twenty seconds left in the fifth, and Knightley is, indeed, being hit a lot. She's taking fire from all angles right now, and managing to do little more than land a good shot here or there. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. No doubt about it. Kristen, wide."

Tess: "And Stewart takes her first lead, 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Stewart still in control as we start the sixth. She's keeping Keira at bay. Knightley out on the end of Stewart's punches, which is absolutely not where she wants to be. Keira trying to slip back to middle distances and DUCKS INTO THAT RIGHT HOOK AND KNIGHTLEY IS HURT!"

McCarthy: "K-Stew TIMED that one!"

O'Dell: "No doubt about it and she's got Keira in full retreat now. American letting the hands go, battering the Brit back into the ropes. Knightley in all KINDS of trouble as Stewart just lets the hands go! Referee looking in closely, not going to watch too much more of this, I'll wager..."

Tess: "Keira in the high guard, hanging on."

O'Dell: "Sure is. She's not doing much offensively, but, so far, it's been enough for her to keep the referee at bay. He's on a hair-trigger right now as Stewart looks for the 'off' switch. Ten seconds to go in the sixth. She's not going to find it in this stanza. There's the bell. Kristen. Shutout."

Cassie: "And, K-Stew pulls out to a two point lead, 58-56."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh begins with Stewart walking Knightley down. Keira's legs looking none too steady as Kristen works that jab, setting up hard right hands, looking to finish here as she cleans up in a major way. British beauty keeping the guard high, playing defense, playing for time..."

Tess: "Kristen patient. She's working soundly, not getting sloppy..."

O'Dell: "Definitely clinical at the moment as she continues to back Knightley up. Keira doing well to stay off the ropes at the moment and to avoid the big...DOWN GOES KNIGHTLEY! Straight right hand by K-Stew that came off a nice left jab and Keira is down on her back!"

McCarthy: "Popped the head back with the jab and followed with that right just behind the glove. PERFECT!"

O'Dell: "Kristen to a neutral corner. Keira wide-eyed staring up at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. Knightley sitting up at six. Seven. Eight. Trying to get to her feet but stumbling to her knees at nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart..."

Cassie: "THAT'S what I'm talking about!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Kristen Stewart, and, K-Stew, that was no walk in the park..."

Kristen (nodding): "Absolutely not. She can fight, and everyone knows it. The difference is, I'm the best flyweight in the FCBA and she's NOT."

Cassie (grinning): "The best????"

Kristen (laughing): "Let's exclude present company..."

Cassie: "Good plan. It's been a heck of a year for you. What's next?"

Kristen: "An even better 2021...and a shot at those belts, I hope!"
