Emma Watson vs Keira Knightley

(Results: Lookout!, Words: Caspian)

Emma:
(30, 5’6, 36:23 FCBA, VIXENs)

Keira:
(35, 5’7, 19:30:2 FCBA, Free Agent)

BEFORE:
“Absolutely. Of course I’m elated for Lily,” Emma Watson says through raised eyebrows and curled lips at the opening of this press conference. “She deserves that Flyweight title belt every one bit. I couldn’t be happier.”

Who can blame poor Watson, who sometime last year was the one calling the shots and hoisting the title belt over her own shoulder. Tonight, she’s the one having to endure questions from reporters about whether she’s next in line for the Flyweight straps.

“Look,” Emma continues. “I’m here to fight Keira tonight, okay? I think the lot of you are doing her a great disservice by continuing to ask me what I think about Lily!”

Across the table, however, Ms Knightley couldn’t be smiling more widely, the fellow Brit actress leaning back in her chair with her arms folded across her chest.

“No, please, go on,” Keira offers. “It’s just amazing watching all this in-fighting happening in the VIXENs locker room. If it’s any consolation, Emma, I hope you DO get a rematch against that little pop tart Collins. I think you made a much better champion.”

Emma clearly blushing from the other end of the table, not sure how to react as the press conference draws to a close soon after. Regardless of what happens next, it’s clear that Watson’s been back on track herself, notching a five fight win streak the last time we checked. And we all remember what happened during that last VIX Birthday Bash in 2019 when Emma ‘generously’ offered Lily Collins to try and take the title from her. Could this year see a reciprocation of such generosity?

For now, Emma and Keira face off at the podium, both looking slightly nervous after all that drama but still in fighting-fit condition: Keira known to dabble in both the Fly and Bantamweight circles, coming in with a slight height advantage here but for once, Emma’s bigger frame might give her some much needed knockout power.

Later in the ring, Watson’s dressed in a light pink sports bra top, jet black fighting trunks and white gloves. Keira’s in a grey sports bra with white linings, similarly-coloured boy shorts and a pair of black gloves on either hand. Referee signals for the start of the bell and this event, and HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Good aim from Emma as she plays the aggressor role early, rocking Keira to the arms and surprising the fellow Brit with some early action. Keira probably assumed Watson’s back to the dainty, laid-back and lovable actress that everyone knows, till she takes a blinding shot to the nose and then another hook crashes into the side of her arms in the first minute alone. Knightley grunts, trying to salvage her position not just in the ring, but as a whole, after losing stable representation years ago and becoming the punching bag of a generation of girls after. The Pirates starlet falls back on her speed as she gets the hell outta dodge, doing her best to fend off the remaining attacks and snag some jabs to Emma’s face in turn to the bell.

ROUND 2:
Keira’s lean physique means she’s both flexible and mobile, allowing her to keep at a decent range for the first minute, either parrying or dodging Emma’s attacks with better ease. Watson not letting up, perhaps that hidden jealousy for Lily’s belt driving her forward as she continues to slam punches into Keira’s arms, some even scorching her abs but generally unable to land big punches like last time. Keira counters the action in the second half, scooting in and bashing a straight cross to the middle of Emma’s arms, occasionally batting the side of her head as she uses her reach advantage to stop Emma’s advance once and for all. Close round swings back to Knightley as a result.

ROUND 3:
We’ve seen this before: Keira in her element, at one point almost recruited by VIX personnel if our sources ring true, as the Brit beauty continues to pepper Emma’s face from afar with jabs. Watson tries to rush at her multiple times with a barrage and swing of hands, but most of her attacks are dealt with easily as Keira blocks her head with a tight guard, absorbs some dull punches to the tummy but immediately crunches the Vixen’s nose with short and snappy counterattacks, even snapping an uppercut into Emma’s chin one time before the Vixen’s forced to fall back, wincing in pain.

ROUND 4:
More bad luck for the Harry Potter starlet as Emma quickly sees her lead evaporate, slipping away slowly from her grasp. Emma opts to stay in one place this time, focusing on her defenses, but that leaves Keira free reign to circle and head-hunt, snapping more and more powerful jabs into her arms and body. Watson’s just being mindful of protecting her head, her arms locked as she grunts and moves about the ring slowly, manoeuvring herself from the ropes and possible entrapment. Knightley picking up speed, one-two-three flurries using Emma’s frame as a moving boxing bag, doesn’t see the counter-cross hand comin’ till it’s FAR too late: BLAM!! Emma not out of this fight just yet, having bid her time and then unleashing a hell of a straight cross to Knightley’s mouth, another one-two combo as follow-up as she batters Keira’s face in and her chances of redemption backwards. Knightley letting out a gurgle, stopped in her tracks, her head turned to one side as another looping hook crashes in, hoping to send her down to the ground. Thankfully, she has the sense and balance to retreat, and the rest of the round winds down still largely in her favour when the bell rings.

ROUND 5:
But all that air has been shot out of her body from that last rodeo. Knightley’s looking wobbly, uncertain as she comes out her corner. AND HERE COMES WATSON, charging straight for her! Gasp from Knightley’s lips as an overhand right BANGS into the top of her forehead, almost spinning her on her toes and back into the corner turnbuckle. Watson not f*cking around here as she wails away on Knightley’s side and head with unseen aggression, keeping her opponent close to the ropes or cornerposts as she dips her head and DRILLS those fists in, battering the abs and body and then alternating with more shots to the top of Keira’shead, finding any room at all to stick those punches in! Knightley in trouble - that’s an understatement as she clings on for dear life, at one point quite literally grabbing onto the top rope with one hand, the other trying to desperately fend off blows to her head. Bell RINGS too early for Emma, who most definitely wanted to see her opponent drop to the canvas by the end of this round. She has to be content with Knightley’s fall afterwards anyways, Keira taking a knee as she breathes in and out heavily by the ropes. Shutout round for the Harry Potter witch as Emma flits back to her corner looking slightly disappointed.

ROUND 6:
If one were expecting Knightley to dig deep and fight back however, well... the older actress has run of steam for a fight as she stumbles out of her corner looking shaky, only to get smacked on the head one more time, Emma meeting her almost all the way from across the ring with plenty of leftover energy. Another hook to the face goes unpunished as Keira turns 180 degrees to the side, flops over the ropes with her chin getting rebounded and finally hitting the canvas with a SPLAT!! Finally we get a KNOCKDOWN from Emma Watson! Knightley’s not getting up from that number as the referee hits the 10-count and declares this fight OVER!

Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Keira Knightley via KO6!

AFTER:
“Well, looks like I got through to her, all right!” Emma semi-laughing as she speaks to reporters back in her corner. “I respect the hell out of Keira as an actress, and I hope she hears me say that when she wakes up!”

Knightley still lying unconscious by the ropes as the medical team rushes in to tend to her. Emma back in her own corner, getting pats on the back from Corey Saucier and Kate Beckinsale, as a persistent reporter asks the Vixen one more time whether she plans to take the fight to her fellow stablemate.

“Let’s just say I’d love to beat Lily up again at some point,” Emma says with a grin, and ends it there.
