Gemma Atkinson (Beevers Babes) vs Antje Utgaard (The Fighting Academy)

With an impressive record of 23 wins from 26 fights, the big American Antje must be pretty confident of a victory tonight over Gemma, who has had an awful run in the last couple of years, in face losing almost every fight since having the FCBA welterweight belt battered out of her by Hannah Ferguson back in March 2017, and at 36, she’s giving 10 years to the bigger girl

Gemma’s wearing her baby blue bra and panties set tonight, with Antje in scarlet, and the younger girl looks really set upto win this one

Round 1

The girls are quick on their feet considering their size, and they land punches on each other’s face immediately, and neither wants to take a step back, so they’re both having to take a good lick. Gemma lands the better shots though, and this is a good start from the Brit, as she Antje Jaye with a good right hook, and the model does a little shudder as she drifts backwards, and Gemma comes in close to her and whups her hard to the body, pushes and pulls the younger girl about, and she’s bullying Antje at this stage – and the model doesn’t like this at all! Now Antje fights back, and she staggers Gemma with a left to the jaw, makes the older girl cover up, but then gets bullied and pushed backwards again, looking annoyed with herself at letting the former champion land so many good punches, but she lands a peach of an uppercut late though, and that’s given Gemma a fat lip – neither girl’s going to forget that round in a hurry!

Round 2

Gemma’s looking to build on a good first round, but Antje has other ideas, and the big model starts to find Gemma with her rangy hooks, that left glove of hers smacking into the Brit’s right cheek over and over, and she’s shifting Gemma around the ring. Gemma’s still trying to bully Antje, but the younger girl’s not letting it happen this time, and she smacks the actress good and hard around the head, and Gemma’s having to back off, and now she’s the one being bullied, racked up against the ropes, with the younger blonde girl ripping her to the body with good punches, then sending her head back with a couple of sharp straight ones, and this has been a good round for Antje, who’s let Gemma know how much she’s got in the tank.

Round 3

Gemma is quick off her stool, and Antje’s a little slow, the Brit looking like she wants this fight more than her younger opponent, and she attacks Antje hard in her own corner, taking the fight to her and battering her body. The model is trying to get out of trouble, but she’s rather clumsy, and hasn’t got the footwork to get past Gemma’s gloves as the shorter girl rips a left hook into her jaw, then she’s letting Antje hold, mainly because she can’t keep the big girl off her, and she has to wait for the referee to part them. Now the girls are back in the centre of the ring, so maybe Gemma has lost her advantage, and she starts to push Antje back, but the girl won’t have it, standing her ground, wanting to trade, and that suits a puncher like Gemma, who slams a left hook into Antje’s face, making her stumble, but the American still has the power to hit and hurt Gemma, even in retreat, and certainly isn’t finished

Round 4

The girls are both beginning to tire a little, and Gemma finds herself forced to stand and trade in the opening stages of the round, and she comes off worse as Antje gives her a peachy right hook to the jaw, Gemma staggering backwards, hiding a little between her gloves, the model lifting the former champion’s head up with a sweet left uppercut, which she follows with a good two fisted combination on Gemma’s newly exposed face, the older girl needing to cover again, but she defends well, even though Antje’s still getting some punches past those defensive gloves, taking charge of Gemma now, the older girl bruised around her cheeks and looking second best in this round, and she needs a big effort to get her fight back on track, although she hits and hurts Antjie late in the round with a good right hook of her own to the younger girl’s jaw, and Antje didn’t take that too well.

Round 5

Antje clearly wants to force the issue now, the model blowing hard as she moves towards Gemma, her face grim with determination, and she whizzes an uppercut past the Brit’s face, but this lets the older girl get to her, Gemma countering quickly, and with venom, her right and left gloves thudding into Antje’s waiting face, the American looking shocked as the tide turns against her, and she looks tired now as Gemma ups her game, increases the pace, and starts to land her punches with embarrassing ease, Antje drifting backwards, and she gets hit and hurt with Gemma’s right uppercut, staggers, and finds herself being backed into the ropes, where the former champion unloads a furious onslaught on her, battering her to the body with left and right hooks, lifting her head up again with a left uppercut this time, Antje taking a real beating at this point, then somehow managing to clinch to pause the punishment, but it soon resumes after the referee parts her from the Brit, who swipes Antje to the jaw with a left hook, the American’s knees buckling, and she’s a sitting duck as the Brit knocks her down with another crashing hook, Antje struggling to get to her feet, but her legs have gone, and she can’t do it! It’s over!

Result: Gemma Atkinson knocked out Antje Utgaard in round 5

That’s an upset! Gemma was surely lured into this fight to be beaten up, but she’s beaten one of the best youg welters in the FCBA, and Anjte is distraught as she sits, slumped on her stool
