BEFORE:

"I just need opportunities," says Erin. "I mean, I took their big welterweight nine in my DEBUT. If I can get some work, I can beat anybody in this division. And, that starts with Swan tonight."

"Are you KIDDING me?" asks Serinda with a shake of the head. "This girl is oh-for-forever and she's going to talk crap? Well, she's not going to be talking AT ALL when I'm finished!"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Eye In The Sky' by the Alan Parsons Project, one of the favorite songs of the lovely young lady coming to the ring right now, Erin Heatherton!"

McCarthy: "Typical toothpick model. Color me NOT impressed!"

Cassie: "As Erin pointed out, she made her FCBA debut back in 2016 against Antje Utgaard, and she WAS, indeed, in that fight, down a point when she was stopped in the ninth."

McCarthy: "And, since then, she's lost every fight she's been in, making her a typical Dancing Hooker Opponent!"

O'Dell: "Erin into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a turquoise number and a body that gets the crowd going..."

McCarthy: "Tooth. Pick."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Foxey Lady' by Jimi Hendrix you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"

Tess: "Swan one of those girls who still hasn't nailed down a roster spot at Front Street. So, this is a big fight for her, no doubt."

O'Dell: "Serinda into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that red number we've seen before, and the fans mighty appreciative. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Serinda. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Swan."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous. Let's see if our panel is right. Heatherton making with the length and the jab early. No surprise here. The six-footer has a reach advantage, and she's clearly planning to make use of that. Swan working the feet, looking for ways inside that guard, but not finding."

Tess: "Blonde really IS rangy, and that's causing Swan some problems right now."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Heatherton's taken control of this thing with the jab. She's getting it on target, keeping Swan at bay. Serinda can't get to spots where she can punch at the moment, so Erin's doing almost all the scoring. Swan not hurt, but she's definitely coming off second best on the cards..."

McCarthy: "With length like that, you can train for it, but you really don't get a sense of it until you're in the ring against it. That's one of MANY reasons why it's so tough to deal with Palicki. You can see video and practice, but it's different in the ring."

O'Dell: "Just a few seconds left in a one-sided first round. Heatherton's been in control from the outset. Swan patiently working, looking for openings in the blonde's defenses, but mostly not finding. Good combination from Erin and there's the bell. First round to the blonde. Wide."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second starts the way the first ended, with Heatherton using that length to her advantage. She's popping out that jab, keeping Swan at bay with it. Serinda working the feet, looking to make her way past those defenses, but simply hasn't had much success doing it."

Cassie: "Just keep working. She'll get the geometry down. Don't take silly chances."

O'Dell: "Definitely seems to be the game plan. Swan staying patient, working the feet, not going to walk into anything. She's getting some offense going in this round, though not as much as she'd like. Credit to Heatherton, who's been both active and accurate with the left hand."

Tess: "And, not afraid to follow up with hard rights, either."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking away. It's been closer this time, but Erin Heatherton still getting the better of things. Blonde a nice combination there. Forced Swan to cover up. Five seconds to go, and Heatherton just going to jab out the round. There's the bell. Second in a row for the former Victoria's Secret Angel."

McCarthy: "And, she's up 20-18 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Heatherton still wants distance and she's still getting it with that long left jab. Swan working inside it more and more often, now, though, and, when she gets to her spots, she's getting off in combination, forcing the blonde to cover up. Working a little body now, too."

Cassie: "This is what Swanny wants to do. Get physical."

O'Dell: "And, when she's able to, she's gaining the edge. But. Heatherton still able to enforce distance at times. As a result, we're settling into two-way action here, with both fighters having some of what they want, but not enough of it. Swan a good flurry there, backed Heatherton up..."

McCarthy: "That's what the blonde has to be careful of. She needs to stay on the front foot."

O'Dell: "Swan keeping her on the back right now, getting it going for the first time, backing Heatherton up with another flurry. Erin trying to get some space, but it's not happening right now. Five seconds to go. One more combination from Swan and there's the bell. Close. But, Serinda's on the board."

Tess: "But, Heatherton is still up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth underway and Swan again finding ways past Heatherton's defenses. Blonde uncomfortable now, like she was late in the previous round. And, that's working plenty well for the brunette. Swan sitting down on punches, backing Heatherton up, making her cover up..."

Cassie: "Erin's got to figure this out. And quickly."

O'Dell: "Swan getting it rolling. Working over the blonde. Heatherton trying to tie up now, slow the brunette down, but Serinda punching free, backing the blonde up with a solid combination. Erin covers up and SWAN DROPS HER WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "Split the gloves!"

O'Dell: "Swan to a neutral corner. Heatherton down on her back, staring up at the referee as the count reaches three. Four. Five. Heatherton shaking the head. Six. Seven. Rolls to her belly at eight. Nine. TEN! That's it! Heatherton can't beat the count and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"

McCarthy: "Actual good punch there. Shocking."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Serinda Swan, and, Swanny, she gave you trouble early..."

Serinda (nodding): "She's just VERY long, Tess, and that can be hard to deal with. You have to find ways to get the geometry down, get the distance you want. That took some time."

Tess: "But, you solved the equation, so to speak..."

Serinda (smiling): "I did. And, I was always going to. It was just a matter of time. And, when I did. Well. The REST of it was a matter of time, too."
