BEFORE:

"People forget," says Chloe with a shake of the head, "That I'M the girl who stopped Winter from winning the New Blood Tournament. And, everybody's on about how good she is. Well. I'm better. I proved it. And, I'm better than McCurdy, too!"

"If this girl thinks she's better than I am," says a hard-eyed Jennette, "She's in for a rude awakening...or, more properly, a rude invitation to a canvas nap."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Bellyache' by Billie Eilish, which happens to be a favorite of the young lady coming to the ring right now, Chloe Moretz!"

McCarthy: "And, I remember this kid winning the New Blood Tournament, and then Weirdo goes out and signs the girl who LOST. Because he knows NOTHING."

Cassie: "Of course, SINCE that tournament, Winter's gone 17-3, beaten girls like ScarJo, Kreuk, and Portman, and gotten a title shot against Williams, while Moretz has gone 4-10. So. Maybe Uncle Wiz knows SOMETHING..."

McCarthy: "She fattened up on a Front Street schedule, that's all!"

O'Dell: "Chloe, who's heading over to LCA for a tryout next month, into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing a black number that shows she's definitely been working hard for this one, and, that's 'Lust For Life' by Iggy Pop pounding through the arena, and here comes 'The Answer', Jennette McCurdy!"

Tess: "Another Front Street fighter still working to secure her spot on the Tenth Anniversary roster..."

Cassie: "And, she certainly doesn't want to slip up tonight."

O'Dell: "Jennette into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that black and white number we've seen before, and the crowd showing its appreciation. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Jennette. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Moretz HAS FCBA wins. She's underrated. I'm picking the upset!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "First begins with Moretz using the feet. She's not exactly dancing and circling, but she's all about movement right now, making McCurdy work to find. Jennette more than willing to put that work in, but, at the moment, she's not having much success. Instead, Moretz slowing the pursuit with the jab."

McCarthy: "Kid doing a nice job of following on with quick combinations, then moving off square, not giving McCurdy a chance to fire back."

O'Dell: "Most definitely is. Showing some of the stuff that makes you understand why LCA is considering making a move with her. McCurdy continuing to work to square, but eating some leather for her efforts. She's getting to spots here and there, but mostly it's Chloe who's in control."

Tess: "Jennette staying patient, though..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Twenty seconds to go in the first. Moretz now doing some serious legging. She's got this round, and she's going to take profits. Not going to allow McCurdy any opportunity to steal it. Five seconds left. Chloe going to leg it out. And, there's the bell. Moretz. Wide."

Cassie: "And, Chloe's got the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins and McCurdy starting to solve some of the geometry problems now. She's angling, cutting, stepping to her fellow blonde, and beginning to get physical with her. Moretz doesn't want to play this game, but, right now, she's being forced to."

Cassie: "Jennette effectively aggressive right now."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. She's getting heavy leather on at the moment, in a complete turn around from last stanza. Moretz getting out of sync as McCurdy's dictating terms. She's working body, backing up Chloe with hard right hands to the head. Moretz trying to manage, but not...managing to do it."

Tess: "Jennette really getting rolling, Jenny."

O'Dell: "That she IS. Thirty seconds to go in the frame, and McCurdy getting more and more dominant as it goes. Chloe taking a beating as we head for the bell. SOLID right from McCurdy backs up Moretz and there's the bell. Chloe never hurt, but a big round for Jennette."

McCarthy: "19-19. All even."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Chloe showing something new now, a little backward motion to go along with the lateral stuff. Giving her a little extra space to work her jab and move before Jennette can step to, crowd, and bang. McCurdy getting inside now, working some body. Chloe ties up, slips away."

McCarthy: "Moretz doing some of that managing you were talking about last round, Jenny."

O'Dell: "That, she is. Not as much as she'd like, because McCurdy's getting where she wants to go...eventually. In between, though, it's Chloe who's having the better of things, and, the result is a good, two-way round, our first one of the fight. Neither girl able to establish control or a lead."

Tess: "Impressed by this adjustment from Moretz."

O'Dell: "It's definitely worked, to a point. She's managed to prevent Jennette from following up on the big second round. McCurdy staying patient, working the feet, getting inside and banging body. Chloe again tying up, this time hanging on to force a break, and there's the bell. Close. Chloe."

Cassie: "And, Moretz back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the way the third ended, with Moretz using movement to create space while Jennette works forward, looking to close and get physical and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND, JENNETTE! Moretz GOBSMACKED by a BOOMING straight right from McCurdy..."

Cassie: "No IDEA how she stayed on her feet!"

O'Dell: "Me, either, but, Jennette trying to make all of that academic, as she's letting the hands go in a big way, backing Chloe into the ropes and ABUSING her. Moretz holding on desperately, jabbing back here and there, trying to keep the referee from stopping this thing..."

McCarthy: "He's not going to watch much more of this..."

O'Dell: "He is not. McCurdy going body now, TENDERIZING the tummy and RIPPING the ribs, trying to bring that guard down. Chloe keeping it high, riding the storm out. Just a few seconds to go in the round. One last flurry from Jennette and there's the bell. McCurdy. Wide."

Tess: "Even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Jennette on a seek-and-destroy mission, and the 'seek' part is pretty easy, because Moretz is on rubber legs and DOWN SHE GOES! Right hook from Jennette drops Chloe to her back just seconds into the round. Jennette to a neutral corner..."

Tess: "Moretz POUNDING the canvas in frustration."

O'Dell: "Referee's count at three, four, five. Chloe getting to her feet at six. Referee gives her the mandatory, and on comes Jennette! McCurdy tossing everything she has at Moretz now, determined to get her out of there and SHE GETS DROPPED! Where did that right hand counter come from!"

Cassie: "UnREAL!"

O'Dell: "Jennette down on her back. Chloe to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Jennette to her feet. Now SHE is taking the mandatory and on comes CHLOE! Moretz, teeth gritted, letting everything go, driving McCurdy into the ropes, then working her over. GOOD right from Chloe shook Jennette. ANOTHER good right and IT'S OVER! Referee leaping in to stop it and it's OVER! And your winner by TKO5 in a WILD bout is Chloe Grace Moretz!"

McCarthy: "Aaannnndddd, McCurdy's locker about to be cleaned out!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Grace Moretz, and, Chloe..."

Chloe (shouting): "You all said I was NOTHING! You all said I'd never BE anything, couldn't BEAT anyone! Well. I TOLD you. I beat Winter. And, now, I came in to her OWN gym and beat McCurdy! And, I'm GOING to LCA and I'm going to MAKE that roster! COUNT on it. LISTEN to me! I'm TELLING you! Just like I told you what I'd do tonight. Watch and see! Watch and see!"
