BLONDE AMBITION AT THE ASYLUM: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"This girl has had a good start, sure," says Hilary with a smile. "But, tonight she gets in there with a champion. And, she's about to find out that makes a big difference."

"She's a challenge, no doubt," says Sophie with a nod. "But, she's also a challenge I plan to meet."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back and ringside and that's 'Wake Up', which can only mean the singer of that tune, the lovely Hilary Duff, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "Not sure what Weirdo's been smoking, but this girl is a legitimate opponent and not your typical Dancing Hooker fodder..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about that. Hilary all business getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe and the crowd pops for Ms. Duff in that fuschia number..."

Cassie: "Here's where Mac talks about Hilary not being quite hot enough for 'Playboy'..."

McCarthy: "When ARE you heading back stage for that fight, Scabbo?"

Cassie: "Again, when I'm done annoying you."

O'Dell: "Aaaaaannnnddddd, that's 'Hotter Than Hell' by Dua Lipa, and here comes 'Sultry' Sophie Mudd..."

Tess: "And, as Hilary herself noted, Mudd has gotten off to an excellent start for Front Street and is coming off a very solid win over Hayley Orrantia."

O'Dell: "Sophie into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's looking stunning in that Egyptian blue two piece she likes. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Sophie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Duff's a real fighter. Hilary!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Duff after the brunette right away. Hilary has the advantage in experience, obviously, and she's not wasting any time testing out Sophie. Mudd forced to the back foot very quickly. She's backing and covering as Duff's putting punches together early..."

Tess: "SOLID right hand there from Duff!"

O'Dell: "Got Sophie's attention. Mudd tying up now, but Duff levers, goes body. Sophie ties up again, but Hilary shoves off and goes right back to work. We're seeing that edge in experience writ large right now, Mac, because, Duff has an answer for everything Sophie tries to do to slow her down..."

McCarthy: "This is why I'M the People's Bantamweight Champion! Experience is HUGE!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the first, and it's been Hilary in control the entire way. Mudd tying up again and Duff punches her way free, lands a solid right hand that gets Sophie's attention and there's the bell. No doubt about it in the first. It's Duff wide and with the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with more pressure from Duff and now Mudd hanging in there and banging back and it's ON. Ladies getting physical in the phone booth here, working head and body, thumping away with heavy leather in the middle of the ring. GOOD shot by Duff..."

Cassie: "And there's a good one from Sophie!"

O'Dell: "Head snapping back and sweat flying now, as blonde and brunette commit on their punches, working hard on the inside, body, head, body. Lots and lots of body right now, as ribs and tummies are tenderized in there. Ladies tying up now and the ref going to break them apart..."

McCarthy: "And, he'd better watch Mudd hitting low in there. Campbell trains her and Campbell is a KNOWN CHEAT!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in what's been a very physical second round. Ladies working in close. Good right uppercut by Mudd and Duff responds with some hooks to the body. Ladies tie up. Ref breaks them and there's the bell. Close this time, but Sophie's going to get the points."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back in the phone booth to start the third. Duff's got to be loving these terms, because she's giving up three inches in height here, and she's not having to work her way past Mudd's defenses. Instead, blonde and brunette in close, slugging, working body..."

McCarthy: "If Mudd had a REAL trainer, she'd be trying to USE that reach."

O'Dell: "Doing pretty well on these terms, though. Nobody gaining much of an edge in this round. Ladies working hard, mostly to the body, tenderizing plenty of flesh, but not ignoring the upstairs, where both fighters are getting hooks and uppies on target here and there..."

Tess: "Lot of short, powerful stuff to the head."

O'Dell: "No doubt. Both ladies sturdy and taking the punches well. We're down to twenty seconds remaining in a close third round. GOOD right by Duff and Mudd responds with one of her own and there's the bell. Not much in it at all for the second straight round. This time, though, it's Duff."

Cassie: "And, Hilary's back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Pattern is set. Fighters in close, banging away. Working mostly body, but not ignoring the upstairs. Got to wonder whose favor this thing is going to work in. Mudd a dozen years younger than Duff, but Hilary's still plenty sturdy. If this keeps up, though, someone is going to break down..."

McCarthy: "This kind of work is about investing. You keep going and the punishment adds up. Pretty soon, the other girl's legs go."

O'Dell: "That seems to...GOOD RIGHT HAND, DUFF! And that shook Sophie! A short right hook and now Hilary all in, winging away with both hands, backing Mudd into the ropes and TEEING OFF on the younger brunette in a major way as Sophie covers up, clearly buzzed..."

Cassie: "Duff wants to finish this right now."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. We're coming down the stretch, though, and Hilary's running short on time. GOOD right by Duff got the referee's attention. He's looking in closely as the clock ticks down. Mudd hanging on, jabbing back, and there's the bell. No doubt about it. Hilary, wide."

Tess: "But, Mudd is still standing, even if she's down a pair, 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Duff forward aggressively, looking to back up Sophie and EATING A RIGHT HAND FOR HER TROUBLE! Mudd BLASTS Hilary with a straight right and DUFF IS HURT! Now it's the former champion who's covering up and being backed up on shaky legs..."

Tess: "Really keyholed that punch, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "Definitely did and it had a huge effect, because Duff is now backed into the ropes and taking just the way Mudd was in the previous stanza. Brunette getting off lusty now, working that body, which Hilary has put on sale, then going back upstairs looking to finish this thing..."

Cassie: "Duff showing her veteran wiles on defense, though..."

O'Dell: "Most certainly is. She's rolling with, blocking well, keeping the guard high despite the punishment she's taking to the ribs and midsection. Final ten seconds ticking away. Mudd a SOLID right hand there, but it's too little, too late. There's the bell. It's Mudd wide, but, this time, Hilary survives the onslaught..."

McCarthy: "And still leads 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Mudd on a mission to start the sixth. Brunette coming forward behind the left jab, backing up the blonde, who is still dealing with balky legs. Brunette getting hard right hands on target, shaking Duff, but not able to put her on the canvas or back her to the ropes to this point..."

Cassie: "Duff's playing for time, and she needs it to get those legs back."

O'Dell: "Another good right from Sophie shakes Hilary. Ref watching this closely now. Mudd has shown a TON of power for this weight and she's bringing that to bear and DOWN GOES DUFF! A blistering straight right hand from Sophie Mudd, and Duff dropped to her right side parallel to the ropes..."

Tess: "May not be getting up from that one..."

O'Dell: "Sophie to a neutral corner. Hilary rolling to her belly. Count at three. Four. Five. Duff grabbing the bottom rope at six. Seven. And she SLUMPS BACK TO THE CANVAS! Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'Sultry' Sophie Mudd!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Sophie Mudd, and, Sophie, you were giving up quite a bit of experience in there..."

Sophie (nodding): "Yes. She's a former champ and a very dangerous fighter, no doubt about that. But, I was very happy to get in there and bang with her. You aren't going to out-physical me in there."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Sophie (smiling): "I've been very active this year and I want that to continue. I'm learning and getting better with every fight. Can't wait to get back in there!"
