Before: Bell mining some of that pop singer gold Dani’s found—big names but club-scene skills make many of music’s big stars vulnerable to well-schooled TE fighters—all adds up to a good risk/reward scenario for someone like cat. Beyonce too “bootylicious” for Bell in prefight, but Cat measuring the pudding around Knowles’ middle with a practiced eye seems excited at the prospect of beating that caramel body. Beyonce in pink bandeau top, pink bikini and silk loincloth, ornate gold anklets; Cat in electric blue string bikini.

During R1: Cat making like De La Hoya on Patrick Charpentier—slicing up Beyonce in a precision first minute that leaves the singer shellshocked out of the gate. Bell in a strong stance, punching almost robotically—left/right on the jaw then the stubbly left uppercut, pivot to the right, bang-bang to the waist—Knowles gurgling in pain as she stumbles into the abuse, Beyonce wobbly-butt, but Cat’s taken her shot and quickly shifts outside to pump jabs into Knowles’ exotic face—bruising up the fruit to secure a shutout first.

R2: Bell starts from outside shooting the high Oscar jab to the middle of Beyonce’s forehead—any offense from Knowles quickly abandoned as she can’t get past the stick, and hasn’t got the sense ot get outside of it. Midway through, bell scorches Beyonce’s chin with a slick right cross, doubling up on the left hook to sprawl Knowles on the ropes. Once again, Bell taking her time, reducing Beyonce in stages—she swings aay right handed at the belly, but steps out to avoid any exchanges, happy to put another shutout on the board as Knowles begins to welt up early.

R3; Knowles comative, won’ty give in to Cat’s class and backs Bell up under lefts and rights that see Beyonce dominate the first minute. Bell pivoting around her lead foot, often using her glove behind Knowles’ head to steer her, then landing cuffing lefts and rights in close. Bell warned for connecting with the side of her hands as she puts these chopping combinations together—Beyonce pouting at the treatment at the bell.

R4: Good two-way action. Beyonce is past the “Wonder of Cat” stage and is walking through some of the cleverness, bashing her punches into the slender ribs to try to bring down that high guard. Bell moving electronically, unafraid to stand and trade, but she’ll pivot to avoid standing in to long—Knowles has to work hard to regain position and usually has to take a few in the process—hard working round to Bell.

R5: Knowles showing terrific strength, clinching Bell up under the arms and bulling her into the ropes where the brunette’s precision can be a hindrance. Nice bludgeoning work to the ribcage as Beyonce works side to side, and she’s discovered Cat’s jugs this round, paralyzing Bell at times with hurtful swabs back and forth. Cat chokes up a round, takes on some punishment as a cocky Beyonce Knowles chests up and forces eye contact after the bell.

R6: Beyonce has her best moments thus far, stopping bell with crunching blows under the line of Bell’s breasts, punching so hard cat has to clinch for breaks. Bell mouth breathing, pushed around and worked over at times—she gets some separation late with the hand behind the head, artfully turning and getting off at angles as Knowles is too wild to stay on top.

R7: Cat back in control from outside, PLACING her jab hard against the glistening face of Beyonce, slowly rocking Knowles to sleep with the constant bashing impacts, Bell working at her own pace, stepping deliberately around, breaking Beyonce down with the stick and dropping opportunistic right hands that swivel head almost every time. Bell beating Beyonce wobbly butt yet again, but Knowles still making this fight, showing stubborn heart in continually coming forward.

R8: Try as she might, Beyonce just can’t seem to impose her will—Bell controlling the blonde with her jab, getting off with postcard 3 punch combinations, pivoting away as Knowles laps up the punishment. Bell placing her shots with withering efficiency—sticking her fists into the gut bouncing them off the chin and escaping very cheap as Knowles is clearly starting to lose focus. Knowles busted up and looking shabby at the bell—she’s absorbing too much damage at this point.

R9: Systematic destruction from a heartless Cat Bell. First minute the patient circling, the well placed jab, lulling Beyonce into a groggy stupor. Second minute the combinations—stuffing left/rights on the thick midriff, capped off with stubby uppercuts on the chin—Knowles starting to stagger, unable to protect herself, numbly thinking only of attack as she blunders forward into more abuse. Final minute the hellish fury of cat bell as she sets down on blockbuster punching, cracking Knowles’ head viciously to the side with right crosses, doubling and tripling up on the hook up bust up Beyonce’s left eye and a brutal beating about the breadbasket that has Knowles sobbing in disbelief by the bell. Beyonce crippled, sinks to her knees clutching her ravaged gut after the bell and can’t continue—technically quitting on her stool as bell circles the ring with hands held high.

After: Perfect casting for Cat Bell—Knowles a tough cookie with tons and tons of promise, but it’s too soon for her to be looking Catherine’s way. “It’s not my job to let up in a fight,” shrugs Cat at criticism that she put too much on the youngster. “Beyonce Knowles signed  up to fight Cat Bell, and she got what she wanted If it’s going badly for her, let her corner or the ref do the responsible thing. My thing is to break girls down and dominate them with my skills.” Well, mission accomplished.
