FOXFIRE VS HISC STABLE WAR

Part I

Simulation by Simguy; Writing by Hawkeye & Archer

“I got a fight! I got a fight!” Elisabeth Harnois had literally been jumping up and down when Marvin Fox called with the news. The Communications Director of Foxfire Boxing may not have been the stable’s best fighter, but she was certainly it’s most eager. Then Dani Fishel, the newest member of the stable asked:’

“Who are you fighting?”

Beth’s happy dance came to a sudden halt as she realized the answer to the question: “Michelle Williams.”

“Oh,” Dani said, as Beth’s face fell. Dani quickly added: “Just because you haven’t beaten her yet doesn’t mean you can’t beat her this time.”

“She’s been fighting all the time. I am lucky to get a regular sparring session in. You really think I can win against her?”

Dani put her arm around Beth: “Sure you can, Mishy thinks she’s unbeatable, but the library has plenty of film on her getting the stuffings knocked out of her—sometimes by me. I’ll help you get ready.

“Thanks, Dani,” Beth said managing a hopeful smile,

Dani and Foxfire trainer Nia Peeples did enroll Beth in a crash course “Beating Mish 101”. Beth tried to follow all their advice and instruction and she thought she was making progress. Beth’s natural optimism then kicked in and soon she was doing prefight expressing her confidence that she could beat the HISC blonde.

For her part, Michelle Williams was bouncy and breezy at the press conference. She made it clear she was happy to be off the road and have a little warm up on her return. “Harnois fits the bill perfectly,” Mish noted with a sparkle in her hazel eyes. “She actually has to get in and do a job inside of repping her fighters. ‘Bout time she felt the sting of the ring in person rather than through Carters tall tales.”

“I’ll try hard not to disappoint you,” Elisabeth said with a sarcastic smile, though Mish pointedly looked the other way instead of replying.

So it was that Beth found herself in the ring wearing a particularly attractive baby blue bandeau bikini, dark blue gloves and matching boots. Her blonde hair had been gathered in a loose battle braid, with golden ringlets coming down on her forehead. Beth looked tense, but somehow adorable as she answered the ref’s motion for the fighters to join him at center ring.

Meanwhile, Michelle had been bouncing on the balls of her feet across the ring from the Foxfire mouthpiece, giving her the once over. Mish herself was clad I her zebra twist-tie bikini, white gloves and black boots with black-n-white fringes. If Harnois could use her body, probably a bantam one at that, she might be able to do some damage, but as far as Williams was concerned, the skills and the will were always the questions mark she could exploit. Shorter in height, it’s still Michelle who commands the center ring when the blondes meet the ref for instructions.

“I hope they’re not paying you by the minute,” Mishy chortles as Elisabeth scowls back.

R1: No surprises as Mishy is fast out of he corner, crossing the canvas between her and Elisabeth, and flinging white leather in ham-handed fashion at any piece of sturdy blonde that present themselves and some that don’t. Elisabeth wheels out of her corner to make some room, but Williams is like a pit bull on a poodle, pinwheeling rights and lefts with abandon, staying on Harnois like she’s catnip. To her credit, Beth’s time away doesn’t seem to have totally degraded her skill set. Defending well under the rain of blows, she keeps herself vertical and unharmed, but it’s hard to score when your paws aren’t pushing toward your foe and Michelle clocks in with a bell-to-bell shutout on sheer volume alone.

R2: Beth is lectured by Nia Peeples to start showing some offense, but Mish thwarts this by maintaining the heavy pressure on the Foxfire blonde. Beth is forced to stay on the defensive, moving, trying to keep away from the ropes, but Mish is right with her. Gaining confidence, Mish starts potentially fight winning haymakers from the minute mark on. Beth takes one after another on the chin and she is sent reeling back against the ropes. Beth tries desperately to slide along the ropes and get away Mish, but Williams is practically jumping out of her trunks, flinging in hammer and tongs, hoping to finish this. Beth’s adorable face takes a terrible pasting and when she puts up her gloves to protect herself, Mish works the midsection and flanks with those sweeping lefts and rights. Yet despite this awful pasting, Beth remains on her feet to the bell and is even able to take advantage of a wide-open Mish to land some stinging straight rights and uppercuts. The round ends with Mish looking pleased at the damage she has so far inflicted on the Foxfire blonde, but Beth walks determinedly (if slowly) back to her corner, her lumped up jaw defiantly set. Goes 10-8 Williams, with no knockdown and ringsiders are impressed with Elisabeth’s pluckiness under the Williams hailstorm.

R3: Steadfastly in control both physically and psychologically, Williams seems content to walk down a struggling Harnois instead of chasing her like a blonde bat out of hell. Mishy pops short stubby combos to belly and juggs of Elisabeth, unconcerned with reprisals, of which there are few. The Foxfire mouthpiece flashes a little leather, Mish staying inside most of the power behind the shots, but Harnois seems more worried about survival than attacking. Williams keeps firing to the body, the body, the body, keeping some of her powder dry through these three minutes as she consolidates her winnings with another shutout, solid if less extravagant than Rounds 1 and 2.

Harnois/Williams Conc.

R4: During the break, Nia Peeples keeps yelling: “Your jab, Beth! Your jab!” at her battered fighter. The Foxfire mouthpiece must have finally heard her trainer because the punch appears to nick up Mish as she comes charging back. Not that it seems to cause Williams the adjust her game. She’s still swinging free and is relentless against Elisabeth, but she’s starting to pay a price for her aggressiveness. Beth also is uses scrubbing lefts and rights out of a high guard, plus digging left uppercuts to the midsection to give Williams something more to think about. HISC blonde unable to impose her will for the first time in the fight as the round ends in a draw.

R5: With Harnois finding a bit of a comfort zone in the 4th, Mish starts out seemingly determined to fluster Elisabeth into a fatal mistake, firing away, but instead a careless Williams eats a steady diet of leather to the mush as she tries to fight her way in. Stubbornly, the blonde sets herself up time and time again for a poking stick from Elisabeth. Second minute sees Mishy’s efforts pay enough dividends to begin trading blow for blow on the inside, Elisabeth still answering back effectively, enough to squeak out another point. Final minute. Mishy exchanging body blows for wild home run swings until Elisabeth times a straight right to the chin that stands Michelle up straight, her legs giving a shudder. The tremble in the lower limbs is like a dinner bell to the underdog and Harnois sets upon her former pursuer. Elisabeth wades into the startled Williams, laying a heavy-handed swath across Mishy’s rack, zebra twist-tie put to the test, Williams bleating in pain, defenses breaking down as GOOD LORD Elisabeth Harnois helps herself to seconds, really sending Michelle’s juggs ajumpin. As Williams folds up from the abuse, head drooping, Elisabeth shoots a short but concrete right uppercut to Mishy’s chin. Cue head snap, as Williams’ noggin shoots away in a whiplash and Mishy DROPS TO HER BACKSIDE. There’s no stumble backward as Williams simply implodes to her rump, looking up at a beaming Harnois with wide hazel eyes. Lissy moves to a standing straddle of the fallen favorite before the official shuffles her to a corner. Williams takes an eye-opening eight to get herself with a few seconds of the end of the round, Elisabeth left with only enough time to chase Michelle with a couple wild swings and - after the bell - with a long poking tongue, Harnois sticking it to Mishy in another way in a disastrous fifth for the Pack member.

R6: Lissy with a big smile on her face as she comes out. Michelle with a scowl, but, more ominous, a determined glint in her eye. No more wild swinging from Williams, she keeps her head moving to disrupt Harnois’ attempts to pick up where she left of in R5. Fighters circle each other, Beth probing with the jab, but Mish blocking and getting Harnois timed. Suddenly the straight right shoots out from Williams between the Foxfire blonde’s mitts and smack onto her mouth. Beth’s head jerks back and she comes to a startled halt. Instantly, Mish slams hard uppercuts into Beth’s tender belly. Down comes the Harnois guard and Williams’ lighting shots explode into Beth’s face. Uppercuts to the chin, lefts and rights that whip the Foxfire blonde’s head around. BETH IS HURT! Michelle hard on her opponent slamming shots in under the elbows to the ribs and belly. Lissy driven back: HARNOIS TRAPPED ON THE ROPES! Beth desperately tries to clinch, but the fired up HISC blonde shoves her and unleashes a hail of leather at head and body. Beth crouches forward, gloves earmuffing around her temples, but she’s taking an awful shelling. Mish in a frenzy, Beth’s legs buckle and she sinks to her knees. Mish leans over and smashes a shot into Beth’s sweating lower back. Beth let’s out a gurgle of pain, as the ref pushes Mish back, and then starts to count. Extra time allows Beth to get back to her feet, ref examines her suspiciously, but she keeps nodding her head to continue. However, she turtles up as Mish rushes back in and absorbs more punishment to the bell. Mish looks on with grim satisfaction as the badly busted up Harnois sways her way back to her satisfaction, a dazed, shellshocked look on her badly swollen face.

R7: During the break, Elisabeth refuses any argument for stoppage from her camp and Harnois pays for her persistence early in the round, Williams now lobbing both right and left-handed bombs. GOBSMACKED. Four straight stinging blows torque Lissy’s head one way then the other, Harnois’ body is finally sent screwing into the canvas, as she blonde puddles to her haunches in front of a shouting, stomping Michelle. With a glassy look of stupor dominating her features, the ref doesn’t bother to count, waving off the remainder of the fight and cradling Elisabeth in his arms for protection. The winner: KO7, Michelle Williams.
After: Mish waits impatiently, letting the official pull Harnois to her feet, but at that point it’s time for Michelle to take over Lissy’s weaving dance. With one glove at the base of Elisabeth’s back and the other with a wrist, Michelle leads her partner to the Pack corner, shoving her the last few steps to the buckles, chest-first. Hopping to the middle ropes, she pounds her zebra stripes Mish Kong style, her tummy pressing against Elisabeth’s matted golden mane, lower pelvis pushed between her shoulderblades. Reaching forward, Michelle pulls Elisabeth’s head back as if she’s about to go all ‘Twilight’ on her neck, then sends a b###h slap across her puffy cheek.

”Now maybe you’ll have enough sense to stay out of my way and out of the ring.”

“Then you stay out of my way,” Beth mumbles through her bruised and swollen lips.

“I tried to be reasonable,” Mish sighs, “Eliza, Claire—you’re on.”

Almost as if by magic Claire Danes and Eliza Dushku suddenly appeared in the ring and joined their sister Wolf Pack member Mish around her prize. They then took turns mounting the ropes to pose triumphantly over the beaten Elisabeth. What else the trio had was hard to say because Hayden Panettiere, Dani Fishel and Sarah Carter now appeared on the scene. The Wolf pack girls moved to meet this threat, but before anything could happen, the Security forces made a belated appearance to clear the ring. The Foxfire girls were able to carry Beth to safety even as the HISC teammates hooted and taunted them.

Clearly the struggle between the stables had just begun.
