BEFORE:

"It's tough for indies," says Holland with a nod. "Hard to get work. And, VERY hard to get consistent work. So, I'm happy to have this shot, and I'm NOT going to waste it."

"She's got talent, no question," says Jane. "She can beat people. But. Not THIS people."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Mountain Man' by Crash Kings, one of the favorite songs of the lady coming to the ring right now, redhead beauty Holland Roden!"

McCarthy: "And, miracle of miracles, she HAS an FCBA win! How about THAT?"

O'Dell: "Holland wasting no time getting into the ring. She's helped off with the robe to reveal a silver number and the crowd liking what it sees. And, that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey you hear behind us, and here comes another redheaded beauty, 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Cassie: "Jane's gone 25-2 in her career, and she's beaten good fighters like Henstridge and OIivia Holt, but, somehow, she's flown a little under the radar in the FCBA, has't gotten the attention that girls like Graham, Meester, Winter, and Stewart have, but two of those girls are gone, and Jane's still here."

O'Dell: "Levy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's looking plenty good in that peach number we've seen before. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy: "This kid has an FCBA win. Mac The Knife is picking an upset. Roden!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Levy looking to step to and get to work inside. Roden, though, giving a little ground, keeping the guard up, looking to jab for space. She's landing some nice jabs in the effort, keeping Jane off at least for the moment. Levy working the feet, angling, wants to close..."

McCarthy: "My research on Roden shows she's a good counter-puncher..."

Tess: "If by 'research' you mean the prep material PROVIDED to you, then, yes, it does..."

McCarthy: "I don't read that PROPAGANDA and SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Levy continues working forward and Roden continues to manage distance with the jab and work punches in the counter. Jane scoring here and there, but not as much as Holland, who seems to have this geometry thing all worked out early."

Cassie: "Roden playing a smart, tactical game right now. No percentage in getting into the booth with Jane."

O'Dell: "So, as we come down the stretch, she's continuing to stay out of it. Fifteen seconds to go. Two-way round for sure, but Holland's gotten the better of things. Jane lands a nice shot to the body, but Roden counters with a left-right and there's the bell. Holland. Close. And with the 10-9 lead after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Levy looking to close and having some success doing it now. She's crowding Roden, working body. Holland trying to manage distance again with that jab, but not able to do it. Instead, it's Jane getting the geometry she wants and it's making all the difference."

Cassie: "Like I said, Holland does not want to be in there with Jane."

O'Dell: "Roden tying up, Jane banging free, backing Holland up with a solid right hook. Roden covering as Jane lands in combination to the head, then goes back to the body for some more work on the ribs and midsection. Roden tying up again and this time she gets a break."

Tess: "Roden needs to adjust here. She's getting no space and no room to counter."

O'Dell: "Instead, it's been Jane in control from the opening seconds. Levy backs Roden up with another combination. Holland again tying, but Jane shoves her off and lands a good right to the head before tenderizing body with hooks right to the bell. Levy wide in the second."

McCarthy: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third starts with Jane again working to close, but, now Holland is using a side/back step to give herself some space. She's getting the jab on again, slowing Levy with it, then countering effectively when Jane gets off. Front Streeter not able to get the terms she wants at the moment."

McCarthy: "And, this is key for Roden, because she's not going to succeed fighting Levy's fight on the inside."

Cassie: "I'm surprised no one's pointed that OUT by now..."

McCarthy: "That's why they pay ME to do the analysis!"

O'Dell: "Holland has turned the fight in a major way here. She hasn't hurt Jane, but, we've gone from a round where Levy was in control to one where the older redhead is getting much the better of things. Jane bobbing forward, trying to close, but stopped again by that jab."

Tess: "Roden's VERY accurate with that jab, Jenny."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. It's a weapon for her, and she's deploying it very, very well right now. Down to fifteen seconds remaining in the third, and Holland's been in control since the opening seconds. Levy lands a right hand in that flurry, but Roden a solid countering combination and there's the bell. Roden. Wide."

Cassie: "And, Holland's back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Holland working the side/back step as we start the fourth. Jane angling, looking to cut the ring, step forward, take away the space Roden wants. Holland, using the jab to slow that, control that. And, she's having some success, but not as much as last round..."

Cassie: "Because Levy's getting the ring cut some, and that's allowing her to close."

O'Dell: "Result is a two-way round at the moment. Both fighters getting some, but not all of what they want, and we've got a close one on the cards. Holland tying up when Jane gets inside, holding on, getting breaks. Levy getting the hands up to block some of those jabs..."

Tess: "Nice adjustments from both fighters, really."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the fourth. Nip and tuck. Roden jabbing, Jane lands a solid combination but a NICE countering flurry from the older redhead forces Jane to cover up. Just five seconds to go. One final exchange and there's the bell. It's close, but it's Roden."

McCarthy: "And Holland leads it 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Pattern set now, with Roden wanting space and Levy wanting to be right in her rival's grill, and it's Jane getting what she wants early in this stanza. She's stepping to, working body, forcing Holland to cover up with solid shot upstairs. Roden's side/back step not as effective right now..."

McCarthy: "Because Levy's cutting the ring. That's how she's getting in close..."

Tess: "I tell you, this is why Mac gets the big money..."

McCarthy: "Careful, Walmart. I heard what you said about me in your picks. I don't swing that way."

Cassie: "Mac, what color is the SKY in your world?"

O'Dell: "A-HEM! Let's keep our eyes on the RING, where Levy is having the better of things in a major way. Again, nobody hurt, but we've seen a change in the complexion of the fight. Jane's taken back control. She's getting what she wants and making quite a bit of hay at the moment..."

Tess: "Definitely has Roden uncomfortable."

O'Dell: "Final twenty seconds of the round. Levy working body, backing her rival up with a good combination to the head. Roden covering up, tying up. Finally getting a break from the referee. But, Jane right back at her, banging the flanks with hooks to the bell. Levy. Wide. And, she's cut the lead to 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Jane's got it going as we head into the second half. She's cutting the ring, crowding Holland, not letting her fellow redhead get the space she wants. Result is, Roden isn't able to mount any effective offense. Instead, she's covering up, clinching, trying to slow down Levy."

Cassie: "And, not having much success doing it."

O'Dell: "Not at the moment. Jane working body in a MAJOR way, tattooing that midsection and hammering the flanks. Holland tying up, trying to force a break. Jane levers and ROCKS RODEN WITH A RIGHT UPPIE! Holland hurt, wobbling backward and DROPPED with a left hook!"

Tess: "THAT landed pretty flush, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "Most certainly did. Roden flat on her back as Levy heads to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Holland wide-eyed, staring up at the count, but I'm not sure she's actually SEEING it. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, pretty efficient work in there tonight..."

Jane (nodding): "She can fight. She's a good counter-puncher and she moves very well. She can cause problems. But. I solved them."

Tess: "You seem to do a lot of that..."

Jane (smiling): "Well, yeah. That's the name of the game here. Win fights. And, that's what I do. And, what I plan to continue to do."
