RED HOT SUMMER AT THE ASYLUM III: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"Yeah, I was in pretty tough in my debut the last time I was here," says Ellie with a smile. "But, this girl isn't Ariel Winter. And, she's about to find that out."

"She's not going to be any pushover," says Meg with a nod. "But. I'm up for the challenge."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' by Shawn Mendes, and that means lovely redhead Ellie Bamber is making her way to the ring."

McCarthy: "Yawn. Dancing Hooker opponent. NO FCBA wins..."

O'Dell: "Ellie made her debut a year ago on this very Asylum card. Wasting no time getting into the ring for a second try. She's helped off with the robe and that black bikini we've seen before is showing off a body that's been trained very well for this one. And, that's 'BAAM' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that song, 'The Peapack Punisher', Meg Donnelly!"

Cassie: "Meg's definitely been showing plenty since she came to Front Street, Jenny..."

Tess: "And, that needs to continue, because Wiz's flyweight division is PLENTY crowded these days..."

O'Dell: "Meg into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing that familiar yellow number and the crowd thinks she looks plenty good in it. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Meg. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Donnelly."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous in the first bout and Bamber immediately getting to work with the jab. Ellie's got the reach advantage here and she wants to use it. She's keeping the blonde at bay, at least for the moment, and now beginning to follow up with some hard right hands..."

Cassie: "Tall flys definitely cause problems. You aren't used to fighting a girl 5'6" at this weight."

O'Dell: "And that length is definitely playing for the redhead right now. Bamber is on a roll early, taking the fight to Meg, forcing her to cover up again and again. Donnelly landing here and there, but that's about all she can manage at the moment. Meanwhile, Ellie piling up points with both hands."

Tess: "Good stuff from Bamber."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Down the stretch we come, and Ellie's been in control from the beginning. Good flurry there, forces the blonde to cover up again. Meg game, but she can't get much started and there's the bell. No doubt about this one. Bamber takes it and wide to grab the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Bamber back to the jab. Meg showing more movement now, angling, looking to get inside. And, not to middle distances, either. Donnelly wants in Bamber's grill. Might be she's been watching video of the Bamber/Winter fight, because the blonde is going ALL Ariel on Ellie at the moment..."

McCarthy: "Difference is, this kid doesn't have Winter's power..."

O'Dell: "BUT SHE HAS ENOUGH TO ROCK ELLIE WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Bamber wobbles in the middle of the ring and the blonde is all in! Donnelly tossing everything she's got at the redhead, driving her back against the ropes and then having at her in a major way..."

Cassie: "Bamber putting that body on sale cheap..."

O'Dell: "And, Meg buying in BULK. She's hammering away at the ribs and midsection, looking to bring the guard down. Ellie trying to tie up. Meg punching free, landing a SHARP right hand that hurt Ellie AGAIN! Ref looking in very closely, but there's the bell. Wow. What a round for Donnelly."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Donnelly loaded for bear now. She's coming straight at Bamber, who's giving ground, trying to use the jab to slow the blonde down. Meg having none of it, she's slipping some of those jabs, walking right through others, determined to get power punches on target and put an end to this thing..."

Tess: "Pretty sound, though. Nothing sloppy."

O'Dell: "Not at all. Definitely showing plenty of maturity for a girl who can't have a legal drink at the moment. GOOD right hand, Meg! That got Ellie's attention. Bamber again trying to tie up. This time she forces a break. Redhead gives ground. Blonde stepping to and ROCKING HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! Ellie staggered and DROPPED BY A LEFT HOOK!"

Cassie: "This might be it..."

O'Dell: "Donnelly to a neutral corner. Bamber down on her left side. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Ellie rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Eight. It's not going to happen. Redhead pushing to hands at knees at nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO3 is 'The Peapack Punisher', Meg Donnelly!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. Lucky."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Meg Donnelly, and, Meg, she gave you some problems with the reach early..."

Meg (nodding): "She's got a good, accurate jab and she's taller than me, so, I had to find ways around that glove. Once I did, I knew I could get her."

Tess: "It's really, really competitive at flyweight around here, but you're holding up your end..."

Meg (smiling): "Yeah. We have lots of good flys. And, we challenge each other and help each other and that's what makes this place great. I hope to be here for a long, long time."
