RED HOT SUMMER AT THE ASYLYM IV: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:
"Yeah, she's a challenge," says Debby with a smile. "And, I'm ALWAYS up for a challenge."

"She's no walk in the park," says Kristen with a nod. "She's underrated, I think. But, she's not getting the win tonight."

ROUND ONE:
O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Best Year' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that tune, the Global Boxing Syndicate's own Debby Ryan!"

Cassie: "Ryan a girl who's made some noise and won some fights, but hasn't been very consistent."

O'Dell: "Going to look to get rolling tonight, as she climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe to reveal a scarlet number that has the crowd popping. And, that's 'Helter Skelter' by the Beatles you hear hammering through the arena, and here comes 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "Finally, a REAL fighter!"

O'Dell: "Stewart touching glove to fist with Mac on the way by the table as usual, then she's into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that lime green number she prefers. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Stewart. Mac?"

McCarthy: "K-Stew, all the way!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell and Ryan right after Stewart. Kristen wants space, but Debby forward aggressively, crowding, banging, getting very, very physical. Stewart being forced backward here, as the redhead's getting off lusty in the early going and taking control of the fight..."

Tess: "This has always been the book on fighting Stewart..."

McCarthy: "That's only because these girls can't box with her..."

O'Dell: "Either way, Ryan not trying. She's hooking body and DROPPING STEWART WITH A RIGHT HAND! Redhead BOUNCING back to a neutral corner after sending the former champion to her knees! Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Stewart to her feet at seven..."

Cassie: "Look at Ryan. She's ready to CHARGE out of that corner..."

O'Dell: "Referee gives K-Stew the mandatory, and ON COMES DEBBY! Ryan winging away, driving Kristen back into the ropes. Stewart in a high guard, blocking and slipping, jabbing back here and there, running clock effectively. Ryan looking to finish, but she's going to run out of time. There's the bell. Debby off to a great start, grabbing this one 10-8."

ROUND TWO:
O'Dell: "Ryan right back to work. She's all OVER Stewart, backing her up with hard leather. Kristen playing defense, giving ground. Definitely doesn't have the legs back, and Debby knows it. Ryan cleaning up VERY effectively here, but that's not what she wants to accomplish..."

McCarthy: "No, she's trying to finish. But, Stewart's making that very difficult..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Kristen taking no chances, just playing defense and staying off the ropes. Ryan very sound. Nothing sloppy. She's setting up her punches, moving her feet, but she's sitting down on almost everything. GOOD right from Debby there sent K-Stew back a couple of steps..."

Cassie: "Time on Stewart's side here, and Ryan knows it."

O'Dell: "She does, so she's keeping the heat turned up high. We're down to just 20 seconds to go in the second. It's been ALL Ryan, but K-Stew's managed to ride this thing out. Good combination, Debby there, but the final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Stewart survives. But, Ryan pitches a shutout."

Tess: "And now leads 20-17."

ROUND THREE:
O'Dell: "Ryan the aggressor again as we start the third. Stewart giving ground. K-Stew looking like having some of the legs back now, but Debby continuing to press effectively, forcing her rival backward, letting heavy fire go with both hands and scoring effectively..."

McCarthy: "K-Stew doing better on the counter now."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. She's scoring points in spots, but Ryan's still in firm control, still pushing the pace, still forcing Stewart back. Kristen just hasn't been able to get into the fight at this point, as the redhead's taken and kept command of the proceedings since that first round knockdown..."

Tess: "Still plenty of time, but, by the time this round ends, Stewart's going to be in quite the hole."

O'Dell: "Doesn't seem to be any doubt about it. Kristen getting a little more done as the round goes on, but Debby's been getting the better of things the whole way. Sharp exchange there and another as Ryan backs K-Stew up again and there's the bell. It's the redhead. Wide."

Cassie: "And, Ryan leads 30-26."

ROUND FOUR:
O'Dell: "Ryan pressing. K-Stew stabilizing a bit better now. She's getting the jab on, holding some canvas, getting some space and getting her box on. Debby playing this smart. She's not getting sloppy. Instead, redhead looking to work past the jab, get inside and get physical."

Cassie: "THIS is the fight I thought we might see..."

O'Dell: "I think we all did. Kristen looking to box, Debby looking to penetrate, but, all that went out the window, at least for awhile, with Ryan's big first round. Now, though, we're seeing two-way stuff for the first time, with the former champ having the better of things on the outside, and Debby doing the same in close."

McCarthy: "K-Stew putting punches together now."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. Stewart's having her best round of the fight by far, but she's nowhere near in control. Debby's getting plenty of work done as well, and, it's close as we head down the stretch. Stewart doubling and tripling the jab, following on with a solid right, and there's the bell. Close, but Stewart's on the board."

Tess: "But still trailing 39-36."

ROUND FIVE:
O'Dell: "Fifth begins where the fourth ended with Stewart working the jab at range as Debby tries to get forward and GETS ROCKED! Ryan staggered by a hard right from Kristen! And Stewart now letting the hands go, backing the redhead up with salvo after salvo of heavy fire..."

McCarthy: "THIS is what I'm talking about..."

O'Dell: "Debby seriously buzzed here, keeping the hands up, giving ground. Stewart clinical as always, setting up punches, backing the redhead up again and again. Ryan's done well to stay off the ropes, but K-Stew has her there now and she's letting her have it in a BIG way..."

Tess: "Ref looking in closely..."

O'Dell: "He most definitely is, but Ryan doing enough to hold him off, at least for the moment. She's jabbing back in spots, keeping the guard high, rolling with punches, blocking others. But, plenty of heavy fire is getting through. There's a HARD right from Stewart and there's the bell. Shutout, K-Stew."

Cassie: "But, Ryan's still up a pair, 48-46 and she may have escaped from serious trouble."

ROUND SIX:
O'Dell: "Sixth begins with K-Stew pressing forward. Ryan still unsteady, and Kristen knows it. She's setting up hard rights with that accurate left jab, backing Debby up again and again. Redhead playing the same game Kristen was playing earlier in the bout, trying to ride this out."

Tess: "Stewart not looking to be in any hurry."

O'Dell: "No, she is not. She's staying very sound, working hard and smart, piling up points and punishment, looking to finish this thing, but assuring herself of a thorough clean up should that opening not provide itself and DOWN GOES DEBBY! Oh, there was the opening and Stewart landed a BOOMING right hand..."

McCarthy: "That will DO it!"

O'Dell: "Kristen to a neutral corner. Debby down on her back, head just inside the bottom rope. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Ryan reaching for that rope, not able to grab it. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! Debby still trying to grab the rope as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Five-Tool Player' Kristen Stewart!"

Cassie: "Great comeback, K-Stew!"

AFTER:
O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Kristen Stewart, and, K-Stew, rough start..."

Kristen (nodding): "This girl is good, as I've been saying. She's very aggressive and she can hit and she caught me a good one. From there, it was a matter of playing for some time to get my legs back. Once I did that, I knew I'd be fine and I was."

Cassie: "What's next for you?"

Kristen (smiling): "Well, we know who was DUCKING me, but we'll wait and see what management comes up with. I'm sure it'll be fun!"
