RED HOT SUMMER AT THE ASYLYM IV: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:
"Here's the thing," says Natalie with a smile. "I'm better than her. That's all this is about. And, I'm going to prove it."

"Here's the thing," says a hard-eyed Kara. "She's NOT better than me. And, I'm going to prove THAT."

ROUND ONE:
O'Dell: "Back and ringside and that's 'Out of My Mind' by CFO$ you hear behind us, and here comes redhead stunner Natalie Eva Marie!"

Cassie: "And, THIS girl has not one, but TWO FCBA wins, Mac!"

McCarthy: "And, knowing Weirdo, enough losses to float a boat."

Tess: "How could you float a boat in losses?"

Cassie: "Doesn't make any sense to me..."

McCarthy: "You know what I MEAN! Shut up, BOTH of you!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in the lovely Natalie in that red number. And, that's 'Flawless' by The Ones you hear behind us, and that can only mean that Kara 'The Body' Del Toro is on her way to the ring!"

Tess: "Kara off to a great start for Front Street, but there are rumblings of possible changes to the roster at the end of the year, so, now might be a good time to keep that winning streak going..."

O'Dell: "Del Toro into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking VERY good in that neon green number we've seen before. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kara. Mac?"

McCarthy: "TWO FCBA wins? She'll beat this Dancing Hooker. Natalie!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Ladies get to range and get their respective boxes on and both doing so effectively early. Both ladies athletic. They move well, and you're seeing that now. Head, hands, feet, all in motion as they work for angles, get to their spots to get off in combination..."

Cassie: "Good stuff from both fighters."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. They're getting punches put together well in the early going, but, both also playing excellent defense, not making things easy on their respective rivals. Lots of punches being slipped and blocked, but others are getting through and a lot of those are plenty sharp."

McCarthy: "GOOD shot by Eva Marie!"

O'Dell: "And Kara bangs back with a flurry of her own. Not a lot in it in the first frame. Both fighters getting work done and nobody able to take control of this thing. Ten seconds to go. One more exchange and there's the bell. Very, very close in the opener, but Eva Marie's going to get the points."

Tess: "And take the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:
O'Dell: "Second verse, same as the first, at least as far as the terms are concerned. Ladies working at range, boxing, moving the feet, and now Natalie stepping to and Kara STOPPING HER COLD with a hard flurry. Del Toro following up, tossing the redhead onto the back foot now!"

Cassie: "Don't think Natalie's hurt, but she felt those punches..."

O'Dell: "And, Kara continuing to exploit the opening, letting the hands go again and again, forcing the redhead backward. Natalie trying to stabilize her front, but can't get it done. Instead, it's the younger woman who's taken control here. She's got everything working in a BIG way..."

Tess: "Eva Marie now trapped on the ropes..."

O'Dell: "And Kara pouring on the leather. Natalie banging back now. With her back to the cables, the redhead tossing some serious leather and LANDING A BOMB that backs up Del Toro! Five seconds to go in the round. Eva Marie a big flurry and there's the bell. Kara looking a little unsteady on the way back to the corner, but she took the round wide."

McCarthy: "And evened the fight at 19."

ROUND THREE:
O'Dell: "Redhead pressing forward to start the third. Del Toro giving ground. She may not have the legs all the way back under her. That was a HECK of a punch Natalie landed near the end of the last round. Older woman slowly walking the younger down, landing hard shot..."

McCarthy: "Dancing Hooker in DEEP trouble."

O'Dell: "Redhead in total control, that's for sure. Kara firing back in spots, but she's not able to stop Natalie's advance or even slow it very much. Instead, Eva Marie's having her way, piling up points and punishment as Kara looks to ride things out in the third..."

Tess: "Might not be a bad idea at this point."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds. Kara able to hold some canvas now, get the feet set and fire back. Seems to have shaken the damage from the last frame. But, it's too little, too late to matter here in the third. SHARP exchange there and both fighters land a solid shot and there's the bell. Natalie. Wide."

Cassie: "And the redhead goes back into the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:
O'Dell: "Redhead pressing as we start the fourth, but Kara not backing up. Del Toro firing right back and here we go! Hammer and tongs in the middle of the ring as both of these power hitters let the hands go and nobody's backing up a step. WHAT A SHOT BY NATALIE and KARA RESPONDS WITH A BIG RIGHT HAND!"

Cassie: "Crowd is LOVING this..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it, and neither fighter is showing any signs of backing away from this thing. Both continuing to fire away and try to impose will here. ANOTHER good right hand by Natalie and DOWN GOES THE REDHEAD! OH, what a right from Kara..."

Tess: "That caught her flush, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "Sure did, and Eva Marie rag dolled to the canvas! Kara quickly to a neutral corner. Natalie flat on her back, eyes closed, down and probably out. Count at three. Four. Five. No movement at ALL from the redhead. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER. That quickly, it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

McCarthy: "DEFINITION of a lucky punch!"

AFTER:
O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kara Del Toro, and, Kara, lot of heavy leather exchanged in there..."

Kara (nodding): "Wasn't my plan coming in. I wanted to box her. But, she forced the issue. And, if you want to trade power shots with me? That's not going to go well for you."

Tess: "Good sophomore year for you so far. What's next?"

Kara: "That's up to management, but, we've got four months to go, and I hope to be back in the ring once or twice more before the ball drops."
