BEFORE:

"Last time," says Nichole with a shake of the head, "I was in very tough, but I gave Dennings a fight. This time? It won't be easy, but I'm going to get it done."

"She's physical," says Lili. "Especially for this weight. Fortunately, there aren't many bantams around more physical than ME.'

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Hush' by Deep Purple you hear behind us, and here comes the star of 'Superstore', the lovely Nichole Bloom!"

Cassie: "This song is actually featured on the 'Superstore' soundtrack..."

McCarthy: "Oh, who CARES about THAT soundtrack. What you should get is 'The Masked Singer' soundtrack. That has good music and the show features the ONLY fighter in FCBA history to be ranked in the Top Twenty at AGE FORTY-SEVEN!"

Tess: "BFF, could you text Pointy and ask him to have a bottle of the good stuff in the limo for the ride to dinner?"

Cassie: "If this keeps up, I'm going to ask him to bring it to the TABLE..."

O'Dell (sighing): Bloom into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing that purple and white checked number we've seen before...and, that's 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park you hear booming through the arena, and here comes 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

Tess: "Lili punched her ticket for the Tenth Anniversary roster last month. But, if she wants to get into the title picture and move up in the Front Street pecking order, she needs to take care of business tonight."

O'Dell: "Reinhart into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that white number we've seen before and looking plenty good in it if the crowd's reaction is to be believed. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Typical Dancing Hooker Opponent. NO FCBA wins. Reinhart."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Bloom wants to work at range. She's tall for this weight, as she's using that length at the moment. Lili willing to play this game, staying on the outside, angling, looking to get to spots where she can get some offense going. Nice combination there from Nichole..."

McCarthy: "If I were in there, I'd already be parading around with my arms above my head after having knocked this girl OUT."

Tess: "And, the unusual thing about that would be that you WOULDN'T be parading around NAKED..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as the ladies continue to get their box on. Bloom settling into a nice rhythm at the moment, got the jab working, dropping in right hands over it. Lili, meanwhile, having moments of her own, putting punches together nicely. Both women getting it going now."

Cassie: "Reinhart has heavy hands as we've seen before, but, Bloom dealing with that pretty well."

O'Dell: "She is, indeed. We're coming down the stretch now. Fifteen seconds to go. Good combination by Nichole. Lili bangs back, landing a nice right hand in there. Ladies clinching. Ref going to break them apart and there's the bell. Competitive first goes to Bloom."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Reinhart a bit more aggressive to start this one. She's stepping to Nichole now, banging some body, getting after the older woman. Bloom giving some ground, thrown over to the defensive now as Lili's getting off with some heavy shot to both head and body..."

Tess: "Nichole doing a good job of managing here. Doesn't want to get into a firefight at the moment."

O'Dell: "But Lili's got her on the back foot, and that's where Reinhart is keeping her. Younger woman getting it going in a big way right now, getting heavy leather on to both head and body. Nichole shipping it pretty well, but she's definitely coming off second best in these exchanges."

Cassie: "Seeing those heavy hands we talked about."

O'Dell: "Ten seconds to go in the second, and it's been Lili in charge from the opening seconds. Reinhart working some body now. Bloom ties up, wraps around the head, tries to slow down the offensive. Lili shoves off, but there's the bell. Second in the books. Reinhart. Wide."

McCarthy: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Reinhart continuing with the aggression, but Bloom has an answer. Nicole using a drop step and doubling up on the jab to create time and space, and it's working very well. She's keeping Lili at bay, and, more than that, following those jabs with some nice right hands."

McCarthy: "Kid is finding ways to score and keeping the Dancing Hooker off balance..."

O'Dell: "Don't know about off balance, but she's frustrating Lili's attempts to get offense going. Instead, Bloom's in control right now, and she's impressing with that double-tap left, getting it on target again and again and setting everything else up with it at the moment."

Cassie: "Lili falling into this trap a little. Needs to back off the throttle."

O'Dell: "Might be wise, but, at the moment, not happening. Instead, Reinhart continuing to press and Nichole continuing to make her pay for it. Just fifteen seconds left in what's been a great third round for Nichole Bloom. There's another nice combo for the older woman at the bell. Nichole. Wide."

Tess: "And, Bloom is up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Reinhart taking Cassie's advice and backing off the throttle a little. She's going to box with right now, angle, work at range. And, it's changing things up somewhat. Now, Bloom isn't controlling things, but, Nichole is holding her own and very well, too, at least at the moment."

Tess: "Got to admit being impressed by Nichole. She's not looking over her head here against a Top Twenty-Five bantam..."

McCarthy: "Well, she'd be in a LOT of trouble if she were in there with Mac The Knife, the first fighter EVER to be ranked in the Top Twenty at age 47!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Solid, two-way action continuing as both Bloom and Reinhart are finding openings and filling them with leather. Nichole still working the long jab, double tapping. Not giving ground now, as Lili's not trying to pressure. Instead, the younger blonde content to work at range."

Cassie: "Patience. Sometimes, Lili doesn't have enough of that. But, she's showing it now."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch and the fighters continuing to box on fairly even terms. Both getting some but not all of what they want and the result is a good, two-way round. Solid flurry by Lili, Nichole responds with one of her own and there's another sharp exchange at the bell. Close. Reinhart. And we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins the way the third did, with Lili getting aggressive again and Nichole responding with the double-tap jab and the drop step, and, try as she might, Reinhart not able to find an answer for this, at least at the moment. Her attempts to close are being slowed by the jab..."

McCarthy: "And, more importantly, Bloom is DOING something OFF the jab."

O'Dell: "That, she is. Nichole not JUST keeping Lili off, but punishing her with right hands in the bargain. Reinhart not hurt, but she's taking a lot more leather than she's giving at the moment, no question about that. Bloom again in a nice rhythm, and she's piling up points."

Cassie: "Front Street corner wants Lili to move the feet and head more..."

O'Dell: "Needs to do something to foul the aim here, because Nichole has the range, and she's calling in quite a bit of artillery. We're down to just ten seconds left in what's been another excellent round for Ms. Bloom. Good flurry there by Nicole and there's the bell. Bloom. Wide."

Tess: "And, Nichole in the lead 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Bloom back to the double-tap and drop step as we start the sixth and Reinhart going to box with again. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, or something like that. Fighters working at range again. Reinhart angling, offsetting Bloom's slight reach advantage with her feet..."

Tess: "Lili's been effective on these terms. Might just keep fighting on them."

O'Dell: "Looks like it. Good flurry by Bloom and LILI ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! Reinhart lands a BOOMING right and Bloom is HURT! Nichole covering up as Lili lets the hands go and THERE'S A RIGHT HOOK AND DOWN GOES BLOOM! Oh, what a SHOT!"

Cassie: "Don't think she's getting up..."

O'Dell: "Bloom down on her right side, eyes closed. Lili to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement at all from Nichole. Six. Seven. It's going to be academic. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 in lightning-strike fashion is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, she gave you some problems..."

Lili (nodding): "She's long and she can box. I just got a little too aggressive there, and that played into her hands. Eventually, instead of pressing, I just let it come to me. And, it came."

Tess: "We know you're going to be on the Tenth Anniversary Roster, and I'd guess you have big plans for 2020..."

Lili: "The BIGGEST, Tess. The biggest!"
