BEFORE:

"Look," says Raven with a lovely smile. "Models are taking over the top two divisions. And, I'm taking over the modeling world. So. Do the math."

"She MIGHT be taking over the modeling world," says Serinda with a nod. "But. She's NOT taking over the lightweight division. All THAT noise gets stopped right here tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Fingertips' by Stevie Wonder, and here comes one of the FCBA's biggest Stevie Wonder fans, the lovely Raven Lyn!"

McCarthy: "And, there hasn't been more of a Q-Tip in the FCBA since Grace Park retired! If you put those two in the ring and turned them sideways, you wouldn't be able to see the FIGHT!"

Cassie: "Lyn, of course, debuted in last year's 'Sports Illustrated' swim suit issue and has been burning up the modeling world ever since."

Tess: "And, as she pointed out, there ARE a lot more models active in the FCBA and winning fights than there were ten or even five years ago."

O'Dell: "Raven into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing a mellow gold bikini that's got the fans showing plenty of appreciation. And, that's 'Foxey Lady' by Jimi Hendrix you hear, and that can only mean that 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "I don't even have to SAY anything. Just put the camera on ME and we'll know she's NOT the hottest player in the game!"

Cassie: "Well, since we don't want to start 2019's Asylum campaign by buying a new camera, how about we DON'T put the camera on Mac..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm DOWN Mac, and let's watch the ring, where Serinda climbs in and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that red number she likes, and the crowd likes it even more. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Swan. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Again, NO FCBA wins for the toothpick. Swan."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Two straight unanimous panels. Let's see if the ladies are right this time. Raven quickly to work with the jab as we get underway. Swan more than willing to play this game. If Lyn wants to box at range, the Front Streeter's going to take her up on the offer, no doubt about that..."

Cassie: "This is Serinda's game for sure, but Raven's got a little reach here."

O'Dell: "She does, indeed, and she's using it effectively. Swan, though, a veteran who's had to deal with this kind of thing before. She's angling, moving the feet, getting to where she needs to be to get punches home. So far, it's been a good, two-way round with neither fighter being able to move the needle much."

McCarthy: "Palicki would have already needled both of them to the CANVAS..."

O'Dell: "Final twenty seconds of the opening stanza and it's nip and tuck, with both ladies showing plenty of skill at boxing. Got to say, Lyn's got some fast hands and some good feet. She's keeping up with a more experienced fighter right to the bell. Close. But, Raven's got the points and the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Ladies right back at range and LYN LANDS A HARD RIGHT HAND! That backed up Swan and the older brunette's covering up as Raven lets the hands go! Not sure if Swan's hurt. Didn't see the legs shimmy or anything, but the Canadian is giving ground as the American wings away..."

Cassie: "Lyn wants to be careful here. Swan's got a lot of power."

O'Dell: "But, at the moment, she's not able to bring it to bear. Instead, it's Raven who's in total control. She's worked Serinda back to the ropes and she's letting the older woman have it with both hands. Swan firing back in counter here and there, but she's not doing much more than that, Mac..."

McCarthy: "This might be the night that Weirdo finally goes 0-6! I may be so great at destroying stables that I've destroyed HIS without even knowing how I did it!"

Tess: "Thank you, Hong Kong Phooey..."

McCarthy: "For your information, I don't EAT Hong Kong Phooey, but I do like egg foo yung..."

Cassie: "Which, in YOUR case, should be called 'egg foo OLD'..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Let's concentrate on the ring, where we are in the final few seconds of what's been quite the second round for Raven Lyn. The supermodel continuing to land punches in bunches right to the bell. There it is, and there's absolutely no question about this one. It's Raven and it's wide."

McCarthy: "And the toothpick leads the Dancing Hooker 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Raven looking to press forward again but she takes a FACE FULL OF LEATHER FROM SWAN! Serinda wobbles Lyn with a BOOMING right hand and Raven's in DEEP trouble. Serinda letting the hands go now, backing up her rival with heavy shot to the head..."

Tess: "Lyn did well to ship that shot. Lots of lighweights would be on the canvas right now."

O'Dell: "And, Swan's working very hard to put her there. Serinda sitting down on her punches, backing up Raven with every flurry, trapping her on the ropes now in a complete 180 of the past round. Swan DIGGING some body now, as Raven keeps the guard high. Serinda THUMPING the belly and ribs..."

McCarthy: "This is what you DO to a toothpick. Work the frame."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what Serinda may be thinking, because she's investing HEAVILY in the body as we head down the stretch. She's going upstairs, but then coming right back down. Ten seconds to go in the round. GOOD right from Serinda and Raven felt that, but there's the bell. Swan. Wide."

Cassie: "But, Lyn's still up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Swan right back to work to start the fourth. She's taking the fight to Raven, backing up the model with heavy shot. Lyn trying to slow the Canadian down, but it's not happening. Serinda determined to impose will now, and that's exactly what she's doing in the first minute of this stanza..."McCarthy: "And, herein lies the problem with being a toothpick!"

O'Dell: "No question Serinda's sturdier, and she's using that to her advantage as she continues backing up Raven with hard leather. Lyn firing back in counter in spots, but she's getting the worst of this in a big way. Swan a SOLID combination there, forces Raven to cover up..."

Cassie: "Lyn's got to do something to slow Swan here..."

O'Dell: "She's trying, but nothing much is working. Serinda walking the younger woman down and making with the heavy leather. Backs her to the ropes in the closing seconds of the round. GOOD right from Serinda there, and that's shook Raven, but there's the bell. Swan and wide in the fourth."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Swan keeping up the pressure. Raven trying to hold canvas right now, but not able to do it. Instead, the Canadian slowly grabbing territory as she THUMPS her rival with hard, accurate shot. Lyn trying to tie up now, but Swan shoves off and NAILS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "What a shot!"

O'Dell: "No idea how Raven's standing after that, but she is. On rubber legs. Swan teeing off now, really letting the hands go. Referee watching closely as Lyn is taking a TON of punishment right now. Serinda locked in and locked in, just hammering away and DOWN GOES RAVEN!"

Cassie: "Ref was close to stopping it..."

O'Dell: "Raven flat on her back, arms spread, head lolling back and forth. Swan to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Raven staring up at him. Six. Seven. And Lyn drapes an arm across her face at eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Serinda Swan, and, Swanny, you got AFTER her those last couple of rounds..."

Serinda (nodding): "She's long and she's athletic and she can box some. But, she wasn't matching power with me. That's where I had the advantage, and I used it."

Tess: "What's next for you? Is 2019 going to be a big year?"

Serinda: "I think so. And I hope so. And, if it is, I'm ready."
