BEFORE:

"Dennings is a nice fighter," says Anna with a nod. "What she isn't, at least not yet, is a champion. And, that's EXACTLY what I am."

"She's good. Very good," says a hard-eyed Kat. "But, she's not as good as I am. And, I'm going to prove it."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'I Know What I Am' by Band of Skulls..."

McCarthy: "Band of...what...who...where does Weirdo GET this music..."

Cassie: "IF you read the prep material, you'd know this song was featured in the very FIRST episode of Anna Silk's TV series 'Lost Girl'..."

Tess: "Here's the part where Mac says she refuses to read Front Street's propaganda..."

McCarthy: "That's right. And, SHUT UP, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as the lovely Ms. Silk, a former Unified Bantamweight Champion, climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe. And, she's looking PLENTY good in that violet and pink bikini if the crowd reaction is any indication..."

Tess: "Certainly doesn't look 45, does she?"

McCarthy: "As I keep telling you, age ain't nothin' but a NUMBER..."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin'' by Scissor Sisters you hear pounding through the arena, and that can only mean that Kat 'The Rack' Dennings is making her way to the ring..."

Tess: "Dennings was oh so close to grabbing the bantamweight title last month. She's secured her spot on the roster, at least, and we'll see how she bounces back tonight."

O'Dell: "Brunette all business as she climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that black two-piece we've seen before. And, the ladies are just about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kat. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Silk is a champion. THIS girl is a cheap Campbell Clone and she gets knocked out tonight. Anna!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Two fights, two split panels. Ladies right to work early in this one, closing and making with the heavy leather. Both of these brunettes are physical, and both like to fight inside, so, no surprise that's what we're seeing in the first. Ladies working the body quite a bit..."

Tess: "And, that's no surprise, either. Not many fighters want to get into a war of attrition with either of these girls."

O'Dell: "Might be what we're seeing right now, though, as neither lady is sparing the rod to the body. Both working upstairs, too, of course, but, for the moment at least, that's mostly 'keep her honest' stuff. The real effort is being made downstairs, and neither fighter is backing away from it."

McCarthy: "This is typical of stuff from a Campbell fighter. All they can do is uneducated BRAWLING. UNlike Mac the Knife, who knows the ART of boxing..."

Cassie: "Truck, send out a new headset for Mac. Her head swelled and broke it again..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "Final twenty seconds of a VERY physical first, and no one is slowing down a bit. Ribs being lathered with leather, midsections being worked over, and both brunettes willing to take one to give one right now. There's the bell. Not a lot in it, but it's Anna who claims the points close and takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Right back to work in the second. Ladies in close banging away. But, there's plenty of skill being displayed here. Nice defense from both brunettes, moving the head, hands, and feet, blocking punches with hands, arms, shoulders, working hard to create openings to the body to fill with leather..."

McCarthy: "Un. Skilled. Brawling."

O'Dell: "Good right from Silk and AN UPPIE FROM KAT AND ANNA IS HURT! Dennings rocks the older woman with a NASTY right uppercut and Dennings now going all in, driving the former champion before her and stacking her up against the ropes with a minute to go..."

Cassie: "This is NOT where Anna wants to be..."

O'Dell: "Definitely not and Dennings OPENING UP with everything in the arsenal, hammering away to both head and body, looking to finish this thing. Silk hanging on in a tight guard, firing back here and there, looking to make it to the bell. And, she's going to. There it it. Dennings wide in the second, but Silk still standing."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Dennings right back to work. She's stepping to, backing up the older woman. Anna trying to at least exact a price for the canvas that Kat's taking, and she IS doing that, landing a good shot here and there, but Dennings is in firm control right now, getting off pretty lusty..."

Tess: "Anna doing well to take all of this shot and stay on her feet."

O'Dell: "No question about it, because Kat's landing quite a bit of stuff despite some solid defense by the former champion. Silk tying up now, but Kat punching free and DROPPING SILK WITH THE RIGHT HOOK! Anna sent crashing to her right side by a BLISTERING shot from Dennings!"

Cassie: "Not sure if she's getting up from that one...

O'Dell: "Kat wasting no time getting to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Silk rolls to her belly. Pushes up to hands and knees at seven. Eight. Nine. Not going to make it. TEN! It's over! Anna still on all fours as the count passes her by and it's OVER. And your winner by KO3 is Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. Punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Dennings, and, Kat, very, very physical in there..."

Kat: "Absolutely. And, that's the way I like it. Nobody in this division is going to out-physical me. Try that, and you're going to end up on the canvas."

Tess: "Still have almost half the year to go. What are your plans for the rest of it?"

Kat: "Just want to keep busy. Maybe get myself back in position to get a shot at the straps next year, you know?"
