DANIELLE CAMPBELL VS KATHERINE MCNAMARA

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Danielle: 25 YO, 5’3 (1.60 m), 25-13-0, 25 KO since 2014, Pretty Little Punchers

Katherine: 24 YO. 5’4 (1.63 m), 8-5-0, 8 KO since 2017, Fates Boxing

Before: “I don’t know why Campbell still gets all those DC logo tees,” sniffs Katherine McNamara, “I’m the one who was on ARROW. Campbell’s old news compared to me.”

Danielle may have irritated Katherine by showing up for the press event in an GREEN ARROW tee shirt and she smiles wickedly at the redhead. “I have built the DC brand. You’ve only just started.”

“I am going to prove that Fates did the right thing in signing me and the ‘Red Kat’ brand will start building,” Katherine informed her future opponent.

“The red being from the color of your butt after I’ve spanked it,” sneered Danielle, “and you do have a very spankable butt.”

“And this is the closest you’re going to get to spanking it. If I were you, I’ve worry more about what will happen to your buns after I’ve beaten you,” declared Kat.

“I am just trembling with fear,” scoffs DC, “your fantasy of beating me is just that—a dream that will turn into a nightmare when I get done with you.”

“The nightmare will be yours,” Kat said with assurance. “and don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

“Don’t you say that either,” Danielle promised.

The competitiveness is still strong as the fighters enter the ring. Katherine is in a one piece suit aquamarine with black stripes. Black boots and gloves with aquamarine laces. Red hair in a battle braid. Danielle in a gray one piece with blue boots and gloves (gray laces). Dani’s dark hair is in a perky ponytail. Much jostling and bumping before the referee puts is foot down and restores order. The instructions then proceed and end with a hard “tap” as hard-eyed young ladies slam their gloves together before they march back to their corners. Tense pause then DING! DING! Bell rings: it’s on!

R1: Dani and Kat are out quickly, head for each other at center ring and the leather starts flying. Kat striking at DC to the head, but DC going for the midsection with deep hooks. Kat bent over as Dani sustains her ab attack and this gives the brunette a chance to bang the redhead’s noggin from side to side. Kat falling back from this punishment and tries to slow Dani with smacking jabs to DC’s chest. Dani not pleased with this gives Kat’s rack some retaliatory straight rights and lefts. Then a solid DC right to the jaw puts a shiver in Kat’s long legs and she falls back. Dani working to get the redhead on the ropes, but Kat able to use jab to slow this effort up until time runs out on the round, but round goes to DC wide.

R2: Katherine a bit slow coming out this round and Dani moves in fast to try to dominate the redhead. Dani going for the head, but Kat ducks under the incoming blows and counters with a hard right uppercut to the chin. Dani’s head is snapped back and she momentarily freezes. Katherine then pounds hooks into DC’s unguarded belly and Dani jackknifes at the waist. Kat then slams rights and lefts into Dani’s head and face. DC trying to scoot away ss she covers her head, but Kat stays on her foe and hammers Dani to the body and flanks. Now it’s Kat’s turn to try to back DC into the ropes, but Dani manages to slip around Kat and the action returns to mid ring. Kat again going at Dani’s abs while blocking Dani’s counters. Round comes to an end and judges give it wide to Katherine McNamara.

R3: Dani and Kat both out at a good speed at the bell. They clash again at mid ring, but this time they get up close and personal. They bang chests, bellies and even foreheads at times. Ref kept busy trying to keep them apart. Then the battle settles down to a grinding body punching battle as the two are toe to toe, looking each other in the eyes, while jerking short rights and lefts into each other’s belly and ribs. Steady smack of leather on sweat soaked swimsuit can be heard by those nearest the ring. Looks very even, but then DC rattles Kat with nasty uppercuts into Katherine’s breasts. Kat shudders and backs up. Dani then adds an overhand right to the face that catches Kat on the bridge of the nose. Kat shudders again and continues to fall back, but then stabilizes by jabbing at Dani’s rack. Bell sounds and the round goes to Dani Campbell by a close margin.

R4: Danielle shifts tactics this round. She strikes at Katherine from a distance and rings her up with a nasty head swiveling right to the jaw. DC then follows up with rights and lefts to the jaw that jerk Kat’s head first one way and then the other. Katherine lashes back and manages to stun Dani with a smack to the mouth. However Dani quickly recovers and goes hard at Kat to the body. Katherine retreats, but Danielle sticks close, cuts off the ring and finally gets the redhead into the ropes. Kat goes face in gloves as Dani rains punches on her writhing body. Katherine makes it to the bell and peels herself off the ropes with a defiant glare at Dani who does not appreciate the gesture. DC takes a step towards Kat, but referee gets between them and orders both to their corners.

R5: Dani looks very eager to go, bouncing on her seat, and looking across the ring at Katherine who is being tended by her corner crew. At the bell, DC jumps from her stool, pounds her gloves together and heads for Katherine. Katherine seems to have shaken off last round’s pounding as she is prompt off her stool. She sees Dani bearing down on her, cocking the right hand and Katherine strikes first! Kat lunges forward and drives a straight right into the point of Dani’s chin. Dani thrown back by the blow and Kat is quick to follow up with rights and lefts to the sides of DC’s head and jaw. Dani reeling, covering up and trying to recover, but Kat giving her no respite as she works over DC’s body in a relentlessly methodical pummeling from breast to belly and back again. Dani driven into the ropes and now has to be the one huddling there as her opponent unleashes a leather storm against her shuddering body. Bell’s ring ends Dani’s ordeal but she is gray-faced and rubbery legged as she makes her way back to her corner after a nightmare round. Kat wins the stanza in a shutout. Kat all smiles on the way to her stool.

R6: The PLP staff work to get Danielle out for the new round, but she moves slowly and has her guard up high and tight. Katherine attacks to the belly with her hook to get things started. The drumbeat of leather on aching abs goes on and on. DC trying to get away but then Kat puts a very hard right hook deep into Dani’s belly. Dani lets out a gurgle of pain and HER KNEES BUCKLE. Dani starts to sink forward and Kat SLAMS a right into DC’s jaw. DANI CRASHES ONTO HER SIDE! Dani is curled up on the canvas as Katherine trots to the neutral corner. Referee moves in. Dani forcing herself to her knees, but can’t seem to get herself erect. She is near the ropes so she crawls over and tries to use the ropes to pull herself up. Legs keep failing and Dani ends up kneeling against the ropes as referee cries:

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER KATHERINE MCNAMARA DEFEATS DANIELLE CAMPBELL KO6!

After: Kat signals her corner to come out and get her gloves off. Then she charges over to the ropes where referee is trying to help Dani to her feet. Official takes one look at Kat and steps aside. Kat hoists the still weak legged Dani up and thrusts her over the middle rope. Dani is left dangling there and Kat moves on to Step 2. She rolls up the bottoms of DC’s yellow swimsuit to bare her buns (she also gives Dani a wedgie that makes the brunette yelp in protest). Then comes Step 3 as Kat goes to town on DC’s impressive, but helpless buns. SMACK! SMACK! Followed by OWWW!!!OWWW!! Impressive work with the flat of Kat’s hands soon have Danielle’s buns cherry red and Dani groaning as each blow lands. Kat finally steps back and poses for photos next to the now very red Buns of Dani.

“I’LL GET YOU FOR THIS!” Dani cries.

“That’s what they all say,” Katherine sneers and gives Dani one last big spank.

“OWWWWWW!!!” Dani moans one last time and then Katherine struts away as Lucy Hale and Ashey Benson climb into the ring to help their distressed stablemate.

Post-fight antics aside, this was actually a pretty close fight until Dani Campbell got a little too eager in R5 and got clocked by Kat McNamara. Dani somehow stayed on her feet, but she had clearly not recovered by the time R6 started and Kat easily finished her off. Very good win for the Fates boxer and it looks like her new management has signed a winner. Painful (in more ways than one) setback for Danielle Campbell. From title contender to having her bare buns spanked in the ring can’t be the sort of thing a young fighter needs. However Dani has been around long enough to recover from adversity and we think she will recover this this time as well. (Rumor has it Kat sent DC a poster sized blow of Kat posing next to Dani’s red buns with the inscription “Always thinking of you, Red Kat”. Kat better watch out, DC might just hang that poster as a motivator for future revenge!)
