Barbara:

BEFORE:
“I think I’m doing quite well for myself,” Georgia smirking to reporters early on. “Compared to some of my other stablemates, that is. Tonight is another test of where all of us stand in terms of the pecking order. Palvin’s lost her stable long ago, but she’s still got her power to boot. So I’ll be watching out for that right hook.”

Palvin not looking too happy that she’s being picked on, first by Nina Agdal, then now by another upstart blonde model. “Georgia-who? At least people knew who Agdal was. Yes, I used the past tense, because both these blonde bitches are yesterday’s news. If Gibbs wants a shot at me, she’s gonna find out the hard way that I don’t go down easily.”

These model face-offs are always tension-filled, and Australian versus Hungarian blood on showcase in the middle of the platform, self-assured smirks as they just stare into each other’s eyes. Thankfully, it doesn’t erupt into a catfight like some of Palvin’s previous altercations.

In the ring, Georgia wearing a hot pink bikini and red gloves, wavy blonde hair flowing down the shoulders. Palvin heavier set in her blue bikini and black gloves, hair set up in a battle bun as she shadow boxes in corner. HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
The Hungarian surprisingly does well in the opening round - perhaps it’s that fighting blood that runs through her veins; or perhaps she just wants to get through Gibbs in order to get another shot at Nina. Regardless, Georgia is rocked early by the power of Palvin’s fists, as Australian blonde gets cocky and gets herself into the killzone too early, thinking she can deal with whatever is thrown at her. Well, she was wrong. Georgia forced to cover up when a hook slams into the middle of her guard as opening act, Barbara simply ramping the action up and continuing to batter her senseless. Georgia pushed her back from whence she came from, almost powerless in this close quarters brawl, if you can even call it that, and has her tummy pounded on from those low-hanging hooks that Palvin is using, trying to get her foe to lower her guard. Palvin eagerly hammering away on the arms, scoring stiff shots to the side of the head, intent on breaking down Georgia’s defences until the girl breaks herself. At the bell, Gibbs barely thrown any punches of her own in turn, panting hard as she makes her way back to corner, as though she’s just emerged from a thunderstorm.

ROUND 2:
Of course, Barbara Palvin seen smirking to herself in between the rounds, as though no one should have doubted her power in the first place. She makes ready the same stance in anticipation of another slaughter of the blonde in the second, but has her expectations dashed when Georgia simply keeps her distance and jabs at her head in reply. One thing we can say about Gibbs that she’s intelligent and knows how to use that brain of hers. Gibbs almost with a 180 degree shift in her fighting stance, snapping the long jab at the face from afar, and only when she has a clear shot at the body does she pepper and salt. Palvin’s dominant performance now turning lacklustre when she can’t score a single hook this time round, only managing to bite back in the final minute with a one-two jab-jab back sent into Georgia’s lips. It looks like this fight is going to be a long one, by simple nature of both girls continuing to adapt to one another’s fight style.

ROUND 3:
Both models more the wiser in the third, and it’s Palvin’s turn to adapt to the faster, more lean and agile Aussie. Palvin keeping herself grounded and rotating to face Georgia each time she sails in with a barrage of jabs. This way, Palvin manages the onslaught well and manages to deflect or block a majority of the fists headed her way. Georgia getting frustrated, most of her attacks nullified as she only manages a spattering of shots into the thick girl’s body. Barbara finally lands a clean one in the last minute, almost taking the blonde’s head off when a hook snatches at the cheek and sends the Vixen stumbling off to the side. Palvin still biding her time, advancing slowly, like a battle tank on its prey. Georgia left groaning on the ropes as she’s manhandled in the final seconds, body taking a beating to the ribs and sides, before her guard absorbs more of the same nasty hooks. The third minute bell saves her from an early knockdown.

ROUND 4:
Barbara still grinning as she’s developed an effective strategy of dealing with Georgia’s speed and agility. Hungarian girl letting her opponent make her own mistakes and then coming inwards to meet her on her own terms. Gibbs however has other plans on her mind, instead of feeding herself to the lion’s mouth, now employing hit-and-run tactics to dash in quickly and then fire off a flurry of punches to the head, then repeat and rinse with more shots landing on Barbara’s body in the first two minutes alone. It’s a viable strategy, and one that’s easily taking on effectiveness once Palvin starts showing signs of being hurt. After another rapid flurry lands all over her face, and she’s suddenly in daze as she backs away, eyes squeezed shut and arms flailing wildly in front of her! Gibbs for some reason decides to jump in and try and finish this, SMASHES her right hand into the middle of Palvin’s face, over and over again, until FINALLY the Hungarian GOES DOWN flat onto her back! OUCH!

It’s an unexpected knockdown for the newest member of the VIXENs, and boy does she continue to impress! Barbara flattened and felled as she lands on her bum before the dizzy spell making her collapse onto her back! The referee is already by her side, counting down her doom one second at a time, whilst Gibbs is parading her achievement back to her own corner, arms widely outstretched as she declares that this outcome was inevitable.

Barbara’s head still spinning as she tries to sit back up, almost oblivious to the referee’s steady count by her side. She tries to progress further but it’s just too much for her at this point, falls back down and shakes her head in pain as the referee passes the count of 10! IT’S OVER!

Official Decision: Georgia Mae Gibbs defeats Barbara Palvin via KO4!

AFTER:
What a win for Georgia Mae Gibbs, made even sweeter for having done so much earlier than her fellow stablemate Nina Agdal. If only Agdal were here to support her by ringside - we wonder how she would react to this impressive victory. According to Georgia, however, it matters little:

“Well there ya go. Beat that, Nina. I wish you all the best for your fight against Candice later. But don’t you worry yourself too much if you lose. Because I’ll be right behind you, cleaning up your mess.”

Poor Palvin’s misfortunes continue to grow, especially after the fact that she still hasn’t been signed to a stable for so long. This kid’s got potential and the power to back things up, but after tonight’s loss, we worry that she’s gonna be yet another wayside casualty to the sands of time.
