BEFORE:

"Look," says Britt with a smile, "We ALL saw what happened to her last time. She can be HAD. And, I'm going to HAVE her."

"Oh, I have no DOUBT the vultures are circling," says a hard-eyed Jane. "Happens every time you lose a fight. Happened when I lost to Mendes. But. I came right back out, blasted out Song and Holt, and people stopped talking. And, tonight, I begin the process of shutting them up again."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Bed of Lies' by Nicki Minaj..."

McCarthy: "And, like I said the LAST time this got played here, this is HORRIBLE, and when I finally RETIRE from boxing, I'm going to start SINGING..."

Cassie: "You mean when you retire for, like, the MILLIONTH time!"

McCarthy: "I have NOT retired a MILLION times. In fact, the only thing I've done a million times is say 'SHUT UP, SCABBO!'"

Tess: "That actually wasn't bad..."

Cassie: "She's burned her one for the year and it's only March..."

O'Dell: "A-HEM. IF we could concentrate on the ring, where the lovely blonde Britt Robertson, star of ABC's 'For The People' is climbing in to be helped off with the robe. She's wearing a peach number, just like she did the last time she was here. And, that's...."

McCarthy: "ANOTHER horrible song! This is why the music world NEEDS J-Mac..."

Cassie: "Siri, call Grace Slick..."

McCarthy: "That was ONE SONG! I can sing ANY OTHER SONG!"

Tess: "Do NOT..."

McCarthy (singing): "We want the funk! Give up the funk!"

Cassie: "George Clinton calling his attorney RIGHT NOW..."

O'Dell (sighing): "That SONG is 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey, and that means that 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy is coming to the ring. Levy climbs inside and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal a peach number of her own. And, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy (singing): "I'm bringing sexy baaaaccckkkkk..."

Tess: "This is going to be a loooonnngggg night..."

O'Dell: "Mac! A pick!"

McCarthy: "Well, Robertson's ALMOST a typical Dancing Hooker opponent, but she HAS one win. I think she pulls the upset and Weirdo sends Levy packing!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel in the opener. Let's see who's right. Robertson wants to get to work early. Blonde stepping to the redhead, and that suits Jane just fine. Ladies at going to work in tight now, bang some body, get physical. This has been Brit's game plan every time she's been here, Mac..."

McCarthy: "That's right, and she's not adjusting it for Levy."

O'Dell: "And, that means we're likely to see a very physical contest, because Jane likes the phone booth stuff as well. We're heading for the half way point in the round. Both ladies effective inside, as you might expect. Lots of body work happening, but nobody neglecting the upstairs, either."

Cassie: "Both girls going to know they were in a fight when this is over, at least if we stay on these terms."

O'Dell: "No question about it. We're down to twenty-five seconds in the first round, and it's been a close one. Robertson working the flanks. Jane banging back to the body then going upstairs. Ladies tie up. Referee going to break them and there's the bell. Close. Britt."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins back in the phone booth, and I don't suspect we're going to see any other terms in this one, as, again, both ladies are comfortable here. More body work this stanza, with both fighters digging short, sharp shots into the ribs and midsection."Tess: "Definitely both making an investment down there."

O'Dell: "Scoring points and engaging in a war of attrition at the same time. Blonde definitely holding her own in there, despite the fact that she's not as sturdily built as the redhead. Ladies tie up, Levy levers Robertson and works some more body. Another clinch and the referee breaks the fighters."

McCarthy: "Ref needs to watch for CHEATING in there. After all, this IS one of Weirdo's fighters trained by that CHEATER Campbell..."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of another very competitive round. Sharp exchange right there and Levy backed up Robertson. Redhead steps to, lands a good combination and forces the blonde to cover up and there's the bell. Second in the books. Close, but Jane."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Levy and Robertson meet in the middle of the ring and get right back to work. Both trying to impose will here, and neither willing to be imposed upon. More body work now, as we're seeing head-on shoulder stuff with plenty of leather being dug into ribs, midsection, and flanks."

Cassie: "Both fighters playing good defense, too. Lots of shots being blocked in there."

O'Dell: "No question about it. Nothing sloppy. And, there's a GOOD uppercut from Britt that backs up Jane! Robertson with a follow on flurry, landed several solid shots in there. Britt grabbing the momentum here midway through the third. She's got Levy on the back foot for the first time."

Tess: "And getting VERY aggressive to keep her there."

O'Dell: "No question about it. We're heading down the stretch and Britt fighting lead, backing Levy up yet again with a solid combination to the head. Robertson now digging body with twenty seconds to go. Fighters tie up. Britt works free and lands another excellent flurry both upstairs at down and there's the bell. Robertson. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, Britt's back in the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Robertson picking up where she left off in the third, she's right at Levy, banging away. Jane responding in kind, digging body. Organizers could have put this thing in a ring HALF this size and still had space to spare. GOOD right hook from Britt backed up Jane..."

Cassie: "Right hand, Levy!"

O'Dell: "And Robertson is HURT! Britt stumbling backward after a blistering right hand from Jane and now the redhead pouring on the fire. Britt backing and covering, all wobbly-butt, as the Front Streeter calls in artillery strike after artillery strike. Blonde in deep trouble, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Only friend she has is the clock right now."

O'Dell: "And, we're down under a minute. Jane digging body, trying to bring that guard down. Britt taking the punishment and keeping the hands high. Jane pins her to the cables. Lands a NICE right hook that sent a wobble through the blonde's knees, but there's the bell. Levy wide in the fourth."

Tess: "And, we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Levy looking to finish this thing as we start the fifth. Jane very aggressive, letting the blonde have it with both hands. Robertson giving ground, keeping the hands up, banging back in spots, but mostly playing for time to get those legs all the way back under her."

McCarthy: "Again, the clock is her friend. Get through this, and we've already seen she can win rounds against this girl."

O'Dell: "Jane digging body. Britt tying up. Levy levers the blonde and WOBBLES HER WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT! Robertson in DEEP trouble as Jane lets the hands go and DOWN GOES BRITT! A right hook from Levy and Robertson splashes to her back!"

Tess: "Not sure she's getting up from that, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "Levy to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Britt with eyes closed tightly, head lolling from side to side. Six. Seven. Robertson still on her back. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! The count passes Robertson by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Cassie: "Big win. Came up big when she needed to."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, no doubt she came to fight."

Jane (nodding): "No surprise there. She's always very aggressive, and she's dangerous. But. I'm the better fighter, and I knew eventually I'd get her. And, I did."

Tess: "I'm imagining the flyweight division at Front Street is pretty safe after the results of the pay-per-view, but it's pretty competitive, too..."

Jane: "No doubt about it. And, it has been for a long time. But. I'm as good as any of these girls. I've proved it before. And, I'll keep on proving it throughout 2019."
