CANADIAN INVASION @ THE ASYLUM II: ELECTRIC BOOGALO PPV 2022

BEFORE:

"It's kind of strange that I've never been to Asylum," says Rachel with a smile. "I've fought plenty of Front Street girls and a lot of Foxfire fighters have been here. Guess the stars never aligned before. They're aligning tonight. But, not for Lili. Not for Lili."

"She's still as good as just about anyone in this division," Lili says with a nod. "Just ABOUT anyone. But, she's NOT as good as ME."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Volcano Man' by Molly Sanden, and here comes Foxfire's four-time bantamweight champion Rachel McAdams!"

McCarthy: "I think Weirdo suffered a blow to the head. He's not thinking clearly, bringing in REAL fighters like McAdams..."

Tess: "No doubt, Rachel can fight. I can still remember her pounding YOU out in three in a title fight..."

McCarthy: "SHE...I...YOU...SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, while you keep your eyes on the ring, as Rachel climbs in and is helped off with the robe by the Foxfire corner crew to reveal a black number..."

Cassie: "And a body that looks every bit as good as it did the day she blew Mac's doors off..."

McCarthy: "SHE...I...YOU...SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Aaaannndddd, that's 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park you hear booming through the arena, and that can only mean that 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart is on her way to the ring."

Cassie: "And, as we've discussed, Lili looking to get a crack at the bantamweight belts, so this is a big fight for her."

O'Dell: "Reinhart helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd popping for the blonde in that white bikini she likes. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"

McCarthy: "McAdams got LUCKY against me, but she'll beat this Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Ladies gonna get their respective boxes on early and a nice exchange there! Not going to be a lot of recon, it doesn't look like, as both blondes get to work early. McAdams a SOLID right hand there and she follows up quickly with a nice flurry. Rachel getting it going now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "I TOLD you. Weirdo has lost it. This is a REAL fighter..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about that. Canadian has everything going smoothly, and, if you've seen Rachel fight, you know that's bad news for the girl on the other end of it. She's putting together punches, slipping or blocking rejoinders, then landing in combination again..."

Tess: "And, she's taking it to Reinhart..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Lili not able to get much done, because it's Rachel who's doing all the 'getting done' at the moment. She lands ANOTHER solid combination that forces the younger woman to cover up, hooks the ribs, and then circles away at the bell having taken the first wide."

Cassie: "And taken the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Ladies back to boxing and now it's Lili who's getting it going early. Reinhart aggressive, backing up McAdams, coming forward behind that left hand, and she's got the Canadian on the defensive. Reinhart stepping to, going body. Rachel tying up. Lili shoves her off, works the midsection..."

Cassie: "Lili can be a VERY physical bantam..."

O'Dell: "And, we're seeing that right now. Rachel trying to get space and not having any success, as the younger woman is right in her grill, working her over to the ribs and midsection, then going back upstairs with hard shot. Again, McAdams clinching, but Lili shoving off..."

McCarthy: "Ref had better watch the low blows in there! ALL Front Street bantams CHEAT!"

O'Dell: "We're under thirty seconds to go in the second, and Lili's had it mostly her way from the opening bell. GOOD right hand from Reinhart there, and the younger blonde goes back to the body. Rachel ties up, hangs on, forces a break and there's the bell. Lili wide in the second."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Lili looking to pressure and she EATS A RIGHT FROM MCADAMS! Rachel wobbles Reinhart with a beautiful right hand and McAdams is all in, driving the woozy American back into the ropes and letting her have it. Canadian determined to finish this thing, and she's got the referee's attention..."

Tess: "R-Mac looking to do what she did to J-Mac..."

McCarthy: "SHE GOT LUCKY! DON'T CALL HER R-MAC! SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, but keep your eye on the ring where McAdams is laying siege to Reinhart. Lili keeping the guard high, rolling with, blocking, jabbing back here and there. Rachel leaving the on-sale body on the shelf. She wants to finish here. Lili tying up, slipping away off the ropes..."

Cassie: "That was a slick little move right there."

O'Dell: "Sure was. Rachel coming forward, but Lili now involved in a fighting retreat. McAdams still getting the better of things as the final seconds tick away, but the younger blonde has shaken the worst of the damage. There's the bell. It's McAdams and plenty wide, but Lili survives."

Cassie: "And Rachel leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Blondes back to work in the fourth. Reinhart has the legs back and she's pressuring again, forcing the Canadian back, not necessarily with punches, but just with all that aggression. Rachel again tying up the younger woman, but Lili punches free, forces McAdams into the ropes..."

McCarthy: "Good move by Rachel. Tie up around the head."

O'Dell: "Forces a break and gets back to the middle of the ring. But, Lili continues with the pressure. She's getting work done on these terms, no doubt about it. McAdams trying to create space with the jab. She's able to do it here and there, but mostly, she has the American in her face."

Cassie: "And, THIS is why Tess thinks Lili's the second-best fighter in the stable..."

O'Dell: "Definitely impressive stuff from Reinhart. She's got McAdams backed to the ropes again. Again, Rachel ties up around the head and holds on to get a break, get back to the center of the ring and there's the bell. Not doubts in the fourth. It's Lili and it's wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Lili pressuring and Rachel tying up immediately now. Shoves off, gets a little space, gets off a quick flurry, circles away. Canadian using all her veteran wiles to slow down the American at the moment. Lili back in her grill, works some body. Rachel responds in kind, then quickly slips away..."

Tess: "Good stuff from R-Mac..."

McCarthy: "STOP. CALLING. HER. R. MAC!"

O'Dell: "Reinhart steps to, works a little body, but McAdams ties up, holds on, gets a break. Veteran blonde doing an excellent job of bogging down Lili's offensive, and it's allowing her to stay right in the round, unlike in the fifth. SHARP exchange there. Reinhart steps to, but McAdams ties her up again."

Cassie: "Lili not getting frustrated, though. She's a veteran now, too."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. Well past that 20-fight level that our former commissioner considered a very important one. We're down under fifteen seconds in the fifth. Flurry there by McAdams. Lili crowds, works body. Rachel ties her up and there's the bell. Close one. Rachel."

McCarthy: "And, McAdams leads 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Back to work in the sixth, with Lili pressuring and Rachel tying up and REINHART STAGGERING HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK! McAdams all wobbly-butt after a BRUTAL short hook from the American and now Lili the one looking to finish this thing, as she backs the Canadian into the ropes..."

McCarthy: "Just ride it out..."

O'Dell: "That's what McAdams is trying to do as Lili calls in artillery strike after artillery strike here. GOOD right by Reinhart and that got the referee's attention. McAdams ties up. Lili stacks her against the ropes and goes body, then back up to the head. McAdams keeping the guard high..."

Tess: "And, she's running clock effectively..."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. We're down to twenty seconds in the sixth. Lili a good right hand, but McAdams ties her up again, hangs on, gets a break, slips off the ropes. Reinhart walking her down behind that left jab and there's the bell. Shutout round for Lili, but she may rue leaving McAdams to fight another day."

Cassie: "And, we're even again, this time at 57."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh begins with Lili walking down the Canadian. Rachel's legs looking a little better, but certainly are not all the way back, and Reinhart knows it. She's sitting down on her punches, getting VERY physical in an effort to put an end to this thing. Rachel tying up again. Lili shoves off, lands a nice hook..."

McCarthy: "HITTING ON THE BREAK!"

Cassie: "There WASN'T a break, you WHACKJOB!"

McCarthy: "YOU...LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Lili coming forward. Rachel giving ground, countering in spots, but Reinhart's in control where she's been since that right hook in the previous round and THERE'S ANOTHER ONE AND DOWN GOES MCADAMS! Oh, what a right hook from Reinhart and Rachel is DOWN!"

Tess: "And, that might do it..."

O'Dell: "Lili to a neutral corner. Rachel down on her right side. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. McAdams to hands and knees at six. Seven. Getting up at eight and STUMBLING BACK TO THE CANVAS! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Rachel can't beat the count and it's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

Cassie: "BIG win for Lili."

AFTER:

O'Dell: 'Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, it wasn't easy..."

Lili (smiling): "Well, YOU said it wouldn't be in your predictions. And, no, it wasn't. She's a top-level fighter. You aren't going to walk over her. But, and Chloe would take issue with this, there's NOBODY in this division I can't beat. NOBODY."

Tess: "I'd ask what's next for you, but, I have a pretty good idea what the answer is..."

Lili: "I'm gunning for those belts. That's what's next. Whatever gets me a chance at the gold."
