Missy Peregrym versus Cara Delevigne
(Words & Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE: This is a return to the ring for Missy Peregrym, though it’ll remain to be seen whether it’s a return to form as Missy has not been in the ring since a string of losses sent her to the bench for Lookout!

“I’ve had a lot going on lately, but my stable has been so supportive. I’ve been so competitive in the bantamweight and lightweight divisions for so long, that I needed to take a break. Mentally at the very least, but now I’m rested, I’m recharged and I’m going to move back towards the top. I know the division has changed while I’ve been on my little sabbatical, but one thing hasn’t changed. She who punches harder wins. A simple fact that has worked for me my whole career and since my new show FBI just got renewed for season 2, I’m back for season 2 of my career here too.”

Cara Delevigne comes in to give a big thumbs down as she beams, “That show should’ve been freaking canceled. But, regardless, I can tell you the whole Missy Peregrym is too tough for the rest of us show is definitely over. Like she said, the division changed and she simply couldn’t keep up with the rest of us. It’s a modeling world and she may not like it, she does have to live in it. This is going to be a pretty short return for Missy tonight and if her career is on the bubble, I’m going to kick her bubble butt!.”

Cara comes in wearing a pink bikini top, with matching gloves and bottoms, hair loose around her face - Missy wearing a white sports bra, with matching shorts and gloves - hair in a fighting ponytail. Bell rings and this match is set for ten rounds in the lightweight division...

R1: Missy reaching into her distant past to come up with a nice firm jab - keeping the punch in Cara's chest and forcing Delevigne to step out and regroup. Delevigne showing a deermined look - standing flat footed with a high right hand, low left, then stepping away to take a look - the constant rhythmic bounce to the right, and sudden, slashing right hand leads up top, pitching left hand whips underneath. Midway through, Delevigne swats Peregrym's left ear with a lead right hand, looks like she's pivoting away to the right, then suddenly jumps in with a whippy left uppercut that splits the gloves, snaps Peregrym's head and put the big brunette wobbly butt! Peregrym shows typical grit, soaking up the blow and walking her girl down, continues to apply pounding pressure to Cara's shiny flanks with wide hooks and right hands at the bell.

R2: Delevigne in command with superior reflexes, footwork and handspeed. Stepping to the right, slashing and sniping at Peregrym, bouncing in and out - Missy with her gloves up, covers to block, but she's usually touched and left staring as Delevigne flits in, out and around. Missy patient with her jab - it's the one weapon Delevigne wasn't expecting and it's keeping Peregrym in range, giving her some confidence even as she goes down 2 rounds to love on the cards.

R3: Cara still blitzing early - she can drop the right hand around Missy's guard anytime she wants, she can freeze Missy with the shoulder feint and lash at the brunette's waist with impunity. Midway through, Peregrym staying composed, punches with Delevigne and finally hits paydirt. Cara gets caught reaching for breadbasket - Peregrym skidding a fine right cross over Cara's brow startles Delevigne, wrong foots her midring. Peregrym taking over, stuffing her jab into Cara's chest then bending into a head-swivelling right on the chin to force Delevigne to the ropes. All Peregrym down the stretch, getting big on Delevigne, pounding the blonde girl's sides and lower back as Cara bends forward at the waist in deep trouble. Delevigne sent trembling to her corner - Peregrym unhurt and starting to roll after 3.

R4: Peregrym cashes in again with a hard right hand between the eyes, nailing Cara as she steps out with hands lazy and low. Delevigne stupified, legs spasming - she desperately reaches for Peregrym's waist to tie up, but the big brunette's not having it. Peregrym spinning to her right, pounding her gloves off Cara's skull and shoulder to bludgeon the brunette sideways to the ropes - monster beat down ensues with the crowd roaring to it's feet. Cara Delevigne suffers one of the grimmest minutes of her career - covering up, lolling forward and back into the ropes, taking a vicious licking to her ribs and ears as Peregrym plants and hammers home with vicious side to side haymakers. Storm abates - Cara's still standing and Delevigne STARTS TO PUNCH! Cara all busted up and hurting, starts to fit a clipping left hook in between Missy's punches, rolling with the brunette's right, and coming back with a saucy inside right uppercut to the breasts. Sensational back and forth with Delevigne rolling and countering off the ropes - Peregrym gritting her teeth, accepting the odd lick to continue to slam away with cavewoman strokes to either side. Bell sounds - both girls keep punching until referee intervention. Peregrym nodding savagely, touching gloves with a dazed, but defiant Cara.

R5: Cara's gutsy stand in the fourth costs her this round - eyes are pleading, hands low, legs shot - she slouches away from Peregrym behind a don't-hurt-me jab - Missy staying on her, walking her to the ropes and applying patented steamroller pressure as Delevigne takes a seat in the strands. Delevigne being beaten senseless now - Peregrym big, using her forearms and shoulders, propping and pounding, getting monster leverage on juicy licks across the abdomen, getting sickening head-spin off clean clouts to the chin - Delevigne just slumping forward, taking the beating of a lifetime and STILL she won't go down. Final minute should be censored - Peregrym baring her teeth, redoubling her efforts - Delevigne swooning out on her feet, gloves pointlessly at her mouth as she hunches forward, head jerking back at regular intervals from clean Peregrym punches, body cringing as Missy reefs away to the belly and hip - the beating goes on and on and on. FINALLY, Peregrym bodies Delevigne up tall, and starts hooking the blonde girl's mouth, stunning Cara, sending the mouthpiece flying - Delevigne topples sideways under the barrage to clatter helplessly into the corner and the ref steps in at the bell! Cara blissfully unaware of her own surrender as the match is awarded to TKO5 Missy Peregrym.

AFTER: Missy Peregrym standing there in the middle of the ring after the ref pulls her off Cara, eyes gazing down at a slumbering Delevigne coolly. Chest rising and falling as her lips form a momentary smirk as the ref lifts up her hand, just gazing out into the crowd. Staring everybody down as she then struts out of the ring, being mobbed by press as she simply points to the ring and declares loudly, “The Alpha Athlete is back.”, followed up by an actual literal mic drop. Missy can’t suppress a smile at being back in the ring and with a win tonight, just practically jogging out of the arena to go celebrate with her stable. It’s clear she’s missed the ring and the fans appear to have missed her too, chanting her name as she high fives and just basks in the glow once again. From here, it’s a long way back to the top for the self-proclaimed ‘Alpha Athlete.’ of the FCBA but if anybody is willing to put in the work, it’s Missy Peregrym. Just ask Cara Delevigne tonight.
