A MUSICAL NIGHT AT THE ASYLUM III: SEASON OF THE WITCH PPV

BEFORE:

"This is a big opportunity, obviously," says Ava with a smile. "Considering how much scouting I got, I'm pretty sure I was on the Front Street shortlist before they signed THIS girl. And, tonight, I can prove they made the WRONG choice."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "We're back at ringside, and, obviously, hearing from only one of the contestants in this bout, as the other has been kept secret. She's the newest addition to Front Street, and we'll find out who she is shortly. But, right now, that's 'My Head and My Heart' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of that song, the lovely Ava Max!"

Cassie: "And, I can testify that Ava is not wrong about having been on our shortlist. She's the kind of bantam we like around here, sturdy and with plenty of power. 5'3", walks around at 121, so she can make the weight easily, but she's a full bantam, no doubt about that."

O'Dell: "Ava into the ring and helped off with the robe, and the crowd popping for Ms. Max in that azure number that leaves little to the imagination. Things quiet now and the lights go down as we wait..."

McCarthy: "I WILL SUE! I DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION! THAT'S MCKINNEY'S SONG! WEIRDO SAID HE WAS OUT OF THE WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION AND HE GOES AND BRINGS BACK MCKINNEY AND BOOKS HER AGAINST A BANTAM! THE COMMISSIONER HAS TO DO SOMETHING!"

Cassie (sighing): "It's NOT Charlotte McKinney. We're STILL not fighting welter. Uncle Wiz just happens to like this song, and so does our new addition..."

Tess: "You are just LOVING this, aren't you BFF..."

O'Dell: "And the crowd staying mostly silent as a young lady makes her way to the ring, masked, covered up in a thick robe. No idea who it could be and few clues as she climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe and mask by Jewel and Neve...and looking GREAT in a baby blue bikini is PEYTON ROI LIST!"

Tess: "Look at the SMILE on Neve Campbell's face! I have NEVER seen her smile in the ring before, unless it was after she knocked out Mac..."

McCarthy: "I WAS ROBBED AND SHUT UP WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys!"

Cassie: "Neve has been pushing to sign Peyton for years."

O'Dell: "And, the crowd still buzzing, but the ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess?"

Tess: "I'm going with Peyton."

O'Dell: "Mac?"

McCarthy: "Max is a Typical Dancing Hooker Opponent. List."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Second straight unanimous panel and Ava setting out to make them look bad right away. List wants to set up at range, use her length, but Ava working forward, getting inside, working some body, then going back upstairs, backing up List. Ava VERY aggressive early..."

Tess: "Not a lot to lose for a girl like Max, who's looking to make an impreAvssion and maybe get a shot at a stable slot..."

O'Dell: "Ava forcing Peyton to give ground. Body, head, body. List on the defensive and on the back foot, and Max is keeping her there. GOOD right hand from Ava forces the younger woman back another step, then goes tummy with some hooks. List tying her fellow blonde up now..."

McCarthy: "This is typical Campbell and Weirdo. Neither one of them know talent!"

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the opening round. Max back to the body. List ties her up. Ava shoves off, lands a solid right hand. Peyton ties the shorter woman up again. Ref going to get in there and break them and there's the bell. No doubt about the first. Ava. Wide."

Cassie: "And with the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and List making with that left jab. She's working it hard, getting it on target, slowing Ava as she tries to close. Peyton moving the feet, not circling, but moving laterally, giving a little ground here and there, all in the service of getting space..."

Cassie: "After absolutely HEARING it from Neve during the entire round break..."

Tess: "My favorite line was 'I did NOT convince management to bring you in here to SUCK!'"

O'Dell: "List not 'sucking' at the moment. Instead, the younger blonde getting the distance and geometry she wants by sticking that jab in her rival's face, leaving her out on the end of Peyton's follow on right hands. Max still working hard to get inside, but not getting it done at the moment."

McCarthy: "Just keep after her. She's looking like a Typical Dancing Hooker..."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch we come. Good combination from List, who's been in control the entire round. Ava slipping and dipping, trying to get to her spots, but, mostly not being able to do that. Five seconds left. Good right by Peyton and there's the bell. No doubt. List. Wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third starts the way the second ended, with List using that length to maintain control, dictate terms. Peyton stopping Ava with that jab, holding her, dropping right hands on her. Max trying to penetrate, get inside, get to the body, but the younger blonde not having it."

Cassie: "THIS is the girl we saw on video. Look at the movement, the excellent feet, the hand speed, how she puts punches together. She's got tools."

O'Dell: "Good combination by List. Stops Max in her tracks and then backs her up with another flurry. Peyton getting into rhythm right now. Ava backing and covering as Peyton keeps the strikes coming and STAGGERS AVA WITH A RIGHT HAND! Max stumbling backward and DROPPED WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "List quickly to a neutral corner. Max down on her back staring up at the referee. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Ava trying to sit up now. Seven. Eight. Not going to get there. Nine. TEN! Max still in a sitting position as the count passes her by, and the winner by KO3 is 'The Cobra', Peyton List!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Peyton Roi List, and, Peyton, slow start tonight..."

Peyton (smiling): "Yeah, she got after me. Then NEVE got after me, and I got it going."

Tess (smiling): "So, how's it feel to get that first Front Street win?"

Peyton (grinning): "It's awesome! This whole month has been a blur, but I couldn't be more excited to get this opportunity, and I'm not going to waste it!"
