Before: Kreuk the best of the gamine-limbed boxers, at least in her own mind, assessing Reese as a “typical no-hoper” soon to be added to the growing list of vanquished on Kristin’s resume. Witherspoon maturing, putting the pieces together—Kreuk’s a great test at this venture. “Flyweight’s a harsh division,” says Reese, “if I want my piece of the pie, I’m going to have to take it from girls like Kreuk. She’s a nifty boxer, she’s got some good finesse wins, but lets; see how she handles the beef.” Reese in royal blue bikini with silver highlights off the shoulder bandeau bikini—Kreuk in red and white broad vertical stripes bikini.

During R1: Kreuk bell to bell She’s stepping back, luring Reese to the ropes, then getting off with scrubbing criss cross action to the face, stepping around her foe as Witherspoon covers up. midway through, Kreuk shining face, actually sets down on a cleaving right, biting left on the chin, gets Reese wobbly butt, wide-eyed. Kreuk cleaning up Witherspoon late—shoe-shining upstairs to occupy Reese’s guard, digging deep underneath the elbows the pay-off hooks.

R2,3,4: Reese shakes it off, takes it to Kreuk for much of these rounds,. Witherspoon jabbing at the right times, stabbing Kris to the chest, just making contact, Witherspoon busy, forcing Double K to make too many defensive moves—Reese missing the first few shots, but landing the persistent follow ups. Reese mixing it up well—rolling combinations ton the breadbasket, wide lefts and rights to the flanks, determined clubbing blows up top. Second and Fourth go as shutouts—Kreuk staying on the defensive, languishing on the ropes under fire.

R5: Kreuk laying out her backhand jab, slide-stepping back from Reese—she gets the blonde walking into right hands and lights her up at then of the first minute. Witherspoon on her heels—when she cooperates, she can be hurt by Kristin.

R6: Reese on the rampage/ Withering barrage of body shots—thumping blows on the belly, up under the breasts have Kristin in tatters—end of the first minute she turns away in pain and sinks to one knee. Reese keeps it up, just showering Kreuk with a vicious assortment of clubbing lefts and rights—Kris driven ropeside, buffeted into stupor as she covers up, leans forward at the waist. End of the second minute—a teary-eyed Kreuk takes a knee—Witherspoon just burying her slender foe under a nonstop hail of leather. Reese finishing up brawny, palm-shoving a helpless Kris up against the ropes, beating in her flanks, looking for the chin with uppercuts, Kreuk, arms crossed, nose bloodied, desperately rolling punches at the bell.

R7: Reese charging in to tidy up and WITHERSPOON GOES DOWN! Kris with that shooting counter right walks her girl into a clanging punch, strut away haughty as Witherspoon looks stunned on all fours, Reese takes a boggled 8—covers up as Kristin wades in to lather. Slapping, slinging assault, Kris just painting away on Reese as Witherspoon sits on the ropes to soak. Witherspoon rolling punches fairly effectively, trusting her body to resist Kreuk’s biting abuse while covering up tight around the head.

R8,9.10: 7th turns out to be Kris’ last gasp-she’s much more tentative, defensive in the championship rounds. Witherspoon doing the work, taking it to Kris, bodying her to the ropes, punishing the body. Kreuk not clinching much, just grimacing, turning her shoulders and rolling Reese’s clubbing shots—Witherspoon doesn’t care if she doesn’t connect flush, just keeps it coming. Kreuk making the decision to survive—she never fields a clean shot on her chin, but gets worn out to the ribcage as Witherspoon pours it on to the last second. Comes back a hard working UD10 Reese Witherspoon.

After: Kreuk choosing the better part of valour—she took her shot to get Reese out of there, didn’t get it, from then on it was all damage control, living to fight another day. Not so Reese—stung early, she never got discouraged, kept coming at Kreuk, finally breaking the classy brunette down and having her way with her. “Million dollar  skills and a five cent heart,” Reese beams, Sounds like something Mish Williams would have said.
