Before: Tempestuous prefight - O'Dell and Holmes both individually and collectively getting into scuffles with the belligerent trio of Montgomery, Rutherford and Krakowski. "They're just pissy because we didn't lay down for Katie," Poppy says of the sabre-rattling. "I knocked Katie out, so there's this big bullseye on my back, but you know what? I'm completely and totally fine with that. Jenny wades in, and I'm supposed to go numb with fear - but that's not the way it is. I didn't take any crap from Katie and I won't from Jennifer. Maybe it's going to take another knock out defeat until BSE gets the point: we don't punk!" O'Dell's got that scowl at the podium: Poppy's made her presence felt in all the squabbling. "I don't know where Poppy got this idea that we are all obsessed with making her pay," Jenny says. "She stopped Katie - good for Poppy - but that doesn't mean everything at BSE grinds to a halt until she's brought to justice. She's attractive in her way, she's got a little pop, and I need rounds. For her to think this is anything more than me flattening some lucky-chump bimbo is just Poppy slapping her own back." Jenny in black Shark bikini - white gloves - black boxing shoes with thick roll-down white socks. Poppy in pastel baby blue lace bra and boy cut panties; white gloves; navy boxing shoes with roll-down thick white socks.

During R1: Poppy storming out - eyes wide: she's crazy wild - missing or bouncing punches off Jenny's shoulders. O'Dell temporarily subdued - unable to come forward: she's buffetted backwards, hitting ropes, ducking low and finally clinching Poppy for a break. Jenny striding to midring, regrouping: right hand tight to her cheek, left hand at her mouth, elbows in very tight. Jab: sudden, tart, no warning; Poppy's head jolts back as Jenny scores. Jenny shifting to the right - SUDDEN JAB: Monty again startled and knocked from stiff poke. Jenny stepping her back (right) foot to the right, pushing off it: JAB! Jenny sliding to the left, pivoting around her (front) left plant-leg: JAB! Hard, punishing poke - very abrupt - seemingly erupting from Jenny's tight guard with no warning. BSE girls hooting and applauding each stiff poke as it lands - Natalie stamping her feet on the floor with a big grin. Poppy grimacing - turning with Jenny - lumping up nicely. Poppy jabs: Jenny parries it with her closely-held right mitt, then edges in close to bury the right hand in Poppy's left-side ribs. Short left hook on top, clouting Poppy's mouth: she stumbles back on her heels, hair straying across her eyes. Jenny steps closer, assumes stance, shifts a little to the right: JAB! Goes that way to the bell - Jenny blocking or parrying Monty's work - then pounding away those discouraging single-shot pokes. Poppy's nose bleeds throughout the break: she's on her stool, head tilted back as trainer works with q-tips up her snout.

R2: Montgomery visibly disturbed - unable to punch her way through Jenny's rigid guard or back Jenny up. O'Dell continues to walk her girl down, pound her the jab - just steady, discouraging force. Second minute - Jenny letting her hands go a little more: right hands straight down into the ribs; short left hooks up top - but always regrouping behind that powerful poke and tight elbows-in guard. Final minute: Jenny parries Poppy's jab with the right hand again; immediately digs a right hand receipt to Poppy's ribs and hooks her mouth tic-toc. Montgomery on her heels, knees buckling - she stumbles in fence post holes a moment, then firms, covering up as Jenny pounces in to beat her flanks at bell.

R3: Poppy scared to jab, reluctant to charge: Jenny's able to step-to her girl with impunity, pump the poke, walk her to ropes. Monty sets up butt-in-ropes, showing earmuff: Jenny immediately dips the left shoulder, jerking the left uppercut to Poppy's chin, neatly splitting the mitts. Jenny doubles down from there, digging left hook to ribs; TRIPLES the left hand with a tangy hook swiped across Poppy's mouth - O'dell twisting torso-right to pull the left across tight. Right hand swings in thick to Poppy's middle: Jenny arching her back, weight on her right (back) leg - POPPY GOES DOWN! Big bodyshot sends Poppy woozy to right knee - she's gasping - right hand in ropes - taking every last second she can on the canvas before rising. Jenny bats mitts together, eyes hard: she wades back in, left hand bobbing hungrily in mid-air. Jab pounds at Poppy's mitts, then her chest; hook cuffs Poppy's right ear; straight left occupies Poppy's guard again as Jenny resets. Jenny eases weight to back (right) leg, dropping her left hand to her thigh; Poppy sees the low left, tries to get a right hand off, but it's all a trap. Jenny leaning in with her right cross, beating Poppy to the punch: head snap, Monty - she relaxes to a seat in the ropes, then collapses to canvas - coming to rest on her chest parallel the ropes. KO3 in flawless fashion - Jenny O'Dell.

After: DISMISSED! O'Dell smiling, but keeping it low-key in her corner as her gloves are removed: Poppy battered and taken care of - that's good enough for classy Jen. "She talked a lot of smack for this fight," Jenny tells cameras during in-ring postfight. "A LOT of smack. We're talking Krista Allen type smack, and I admit - it was getting to me. The fact is - I'm an elite fighter - Poppy's second tier - and if I fight my fight right, she's getting stopped. That's all that happened tonight. She looked into her trick bag one more time and found out it was empty." Nice surprise for Jenny as legendary Caroline Munro offers Jenny a congratulatory hug in the ring - telling O'dell that she's Caroline's favourite fighter!
