Before: “It’s going to be interesting fighting another dancer like Allison,” comments Caity Lotz. “We dancers are very competitive and put two of us in a ring with gloves—well, as I said, it will be interesting.”

“Caity has got that right,” said Allison Holker (seen on many TV dance shows like “Dancing with the Stars”). “I feel a real excitement in being given the chance to prove I can beat her in a boxing ring—as well as on a dance floor.”

“I wouldn’t be so sure you could beat me on a dance floor—and I know you sure won’t be able to out box me,” says Caity with a sly smile.

“Now isn’t it great we’re going to at least be able to settle the boxing part of it,” responds Allison.

“Definitely and I can’t wait for it,” Caity said with an eager tone in her voice.

“Neither can I,” Allison said sounding just as eager.

Allison to the ring in a lacy black bra and high waisted briefs. White gloves and boots with black laces. Her blonde hair pulled back into a battle braid. Caity in a black lacy body suit with red boots and gloves (black laces). Caity’s dark blonde hair is in a perky ponytail. Both fighters bouncing into the ring and clearly eager for this to get started. Referee gets the instructions doe. Tap of the gloves and off the fighters go to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Caity and Allison both out smoothly from their corners and get to the ring to start exchanging fire. Both go to the head with their opening shots, but Caity able to connect with more accuracy. Alli is smacked hard to the jaw and then the side of the head. Allison pulling away to regroup, but Caity in pursuit and brings her punches into Allison’s breasts and midsection. Caity trying to get close and Allison responding with her jab. Caity pauses, circles to the right and then strikes again. Allison blocks with the jab. Caity swings left and attacks. Allison counters. Then Caity gets an submarine right uppercut in under Allison’s chin. Allison falls back on shaking legs. Caity going hard to body with hooks as the round ends. Caity wins the round wide.

R2: Out they come again and Caity showing confidence as she closes in quickly on Allison. However Allison proves to be ready as she drives a hard right into the point of Caity’s chin. Caity comes to a stunned halt and Alli swiftly fires in right and left to the jaw. Now it is Caity stumbling back in confusion as Allison builds on offensive. Caity’s back bangs into the ropes and seems to spur Allison into defensive action. Caity sliding along the ropes, trying to fight Allison off with her jab, but taking a lot of leather to the sides of the head and into the torso. Caity finally cut off and has to go face in gloves as she huddles against the strands. Allison lashing away, but runs out of time. Allison has to settle for winning the round wide and leaving Caity sweat drenched and shaken as she goes slowly to her corner.

R3: Medallion corner crew swarms over their fighter during the break. Hard work gets Caity Lotz out at the bell looking cleaned up and ready to resume action. Caity is showing a bit more caution as she approaches Allison. Allison trying to bob and weave around Caity, but Caity quickly adapts and starts landing hard to Allison’s jaw. Alli trying to fight back by going after Caity to the body, but Caity firing her counters over Allison’s incoming to bust her up in the face. Allison in retreat with angry red splotches on her cheekbones and jawline. Then Caity goes to the belly slamming hooks one at the waistband of Allison black briefs. Allison doubling up with a gurgle and Caity now bringing rising rights and lefts into Alli’s overhanging face and breasts. Allison trying to pull away under fire. She does manage to keep clear of the ropes, but Caity back to looking dominate as she wins this round wide.

Caity trying to intimidate Allison by coming in fast and going to the abs with her opening punch flurry. Allison takes the belly shots and rips back with deep right hooks into Caity’s abs. Caity groans as she folds forward under the impact of those belly hooks. Then Allison brings a cracking right to the jaw that sends Caity lurching to the side. Allison moving with her, firing away at Caity’s flanks, trying to herd her into the ropes. Caity trying circle away from the ropes. Allison scrambling to overtake her and then they have a sharp exchange of head shots at mid ring. Caity again sent lurching away and Allison is on her again, trying to get Caity into those ropes. Caity fighting back with the jab, but a shot to the chin staggers her and she covers her face as Allison smites her to those toned abs to the bell. Allison now right back in with a round she’s won wide.

R5: Both Allison and Caity are out of their corners at a good pace. They move to mid ring and begin to circle each other, They take turn stepping forward firing in shots to head or body and them pulling back. Bobbing and weaving as they go, looking for an opening and then trying to stuff home the shot when they see one. Action staying even, but then Caity throws in a quick move that draws Allison off balance. BAM! Caity right catches Alli on the jaw with a head-swiveling blow. Then KA-POW follow-up left crashes into the opposite side of Allison’s jaw and head swivels that way. Allison thrown back, her legs suddenly turned to rubber and hermits wavering uncertainly as Alli struggles to regain her senses. Caity not about to let her recover, she starts pumping shots into Allison’s chin like it was a speed bag. Allison driven back into the ropes and Caity smashing away at her head with rights and lefts. Allison goes limp AND CRASHES TO THE CANVAS! Caity briskly walking to the neutral corner as Alli lies in a smoldering heap next to the bottom rope. Referee count. Allison makes a feeble effort to rise, but she’s too far gone to recover.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER CAITY LOTZ DEFEATS ALLISON HOLKER KO5!

After: ‘I knew I could count on Allison to give me a good fight and that’s just what she did. I feel great at having been able to beat her,” an enthusiastic Caity Lotz tells the press. After she was declared the winner, she helped Allison back to her corner and gave her a friendly hug. “I admit there were times she had me worried, but I got through them and was able to knock her out. I can’t wait for my next fight!”

Allison Hocker speaks to the press later: “It was a very back and forth fight, unfortunately for me, Caity got in just the right punches at just the right time to beat me. I am disappointed, of course, I should have been able to pull it out it—but I didn’t. So I will just have to move on and do more next time so this doesn’t happen to me again.

As Allison Hocker noted, this was a back and forth battle with Allison and Caity Hocker trading rounds until Caity go the knockout in R5. Call it luck at finding an opening at the right time, but Caity did what she had to and pulled out the win. Encouraging win for the Medallion bantam. While free agent Allison Hocker has to wonder where her next fight will be coming from. It is never easy for an unmanaged fighter in the FCBA.
