Thanks to FightFan for this repost.

Before: Diaz takes time out of her busy schedule to answer Bullock's repeated challenges, refers to Sandra as the "bum of the month' in the press. Bullock not amused, but the description may be apt: Sandy fit, strong, but not in the class of Diaz in terms of skills or experience -Cameron's quote in pre-fight "just don't quit on me babe - come to fight." Bullock in black push up, blue and white flower print bikini bottoms - Diaz in pale blue bra and panties.

During R1: Sandra tackling, mugging Cameron, looks to rough the classy blonde up, and it works to some extent. Diaz clowning with her back to the ropes, sticking her tongue out, leaning waaaay back to make bullock miss the head shots - but Sandra tans the beef at Diaz' hips with enough leather to bag the round.

R2, 3: Cameron dancing, up on her toes, bounces backwards counterclockwise, pecking and swatting with that lovely left hand, while Sandra pivots, bobs, and takes flush on the face. Sandra finishing the rounds well as Cameron sits on the ropes to slip and block - but Bullock just can't get on track when Diaz moves.

R4: OH SANDRA! Bullock jabbing with Diaz disturbs the blonde's timing early as both girls beat cheek meat with the left, but Bullock lunges into a sweeping right that catches Cameron on the face as the blonde pulls out. Diaz dives to the canvas, shocked to have been hit, and gets up very quickly. Pride stung, Cameron wades in with the sturdy brunette, and Bullock holds her own as the girls trade at center ring. At the bell, the referee pushes Cameron back as she jaws at Sandra - good needling round for Bullock.

R5, 6: Cameron sets down to business, flicking the jab, walking Sandra into punches, but Bullock shows terrier-like stubbornness as she moves forward, jabbing with Diaz, and heaving long, wide left hooks into Cameron's waist any time the blonde wants to sit on the ropes. Diaz is winning the rounds, but she's taking leather, and fighting flat footed more than usual as a result.

R7: Sandra traps Cameron on the ropes to open the round. Diaz talking, leaning back into the ropes, pulling Sandra's head down, but Bullock with a strong, wide stance, shucks Diaz back and heaves in those Kenny Norton hooks. Midway through the round, Diaz takes a left hand to her stomach and crumples forward, staggering off the ropes, and looking wobbly as she flat out runs. Sandra chasing, but hopelessly wrong footed, can't line the blonde up for a good finishing flurry.

R8: Cameron swatting wide left hooks, and setting down on jarring straight right hands to open the round, but Sandra is undaunted. By the midway point, Bullock has Diaz covering up on the ropes, blistering the blonde's ribs with wide lefts and rights as Cameron protects her body. Down the stretch, Bullock turns her hips into crushing left hooks, ripping at the tummy meat of Diaz as Cameron looks woozy at the bell. Bullock encouraged to see Diaz hurting, grimacing en-route to her corner.

R9, 10: Diaz takes the championship rounds with safety first boxing. Bullock stalks, but can't get off as Cameron keeps her busy with the open-palmed, backhanded jab, bouncing out of range as Bullock throws right, then bouncing back in to land that crisp straight right to the mouth or forehead of the brunette. Diaz rolling her fists as she circles, never staying put long enough to get tagged - Bullock often stopping and waving Cameron in, in an attempt to shame the blonde into slugging. Cameron Diaz scoops the last 2 rounds, and surprisingly, she needed them to win.

After: Great hustle, great heart from Bullock, but Cameron doing enough to win. Not a vintage Diaz effort, but enough sizzle to get the points when she needed them. Bullock not a huge puncher by any means, but her awkwardness actually served her well as Diaz seemed perplexed at time in this one.
