Before: GKN swooping in on Crawford’s open contract, ever the opportunist, Nolin on the bubble--BLONDE! Magazine opening questioning her heart following a disappointing resort series against Eva Larue--many are wondering if Gena’s best years are finally behind her. Cindy once recipient of similar criticism, but she’s battled back to middleweight credibility to turn back the clock time and again. Crawford in navy bikini top, red bikini bottoms--Gena in pale peach bikini, making weight easy and appearing to be in good firm shape.

During R1: Crawford circling, using the ring to suss Gena out--brunette spearing a heavy jab into blonde midsection to start draining the tank early. Nolin dukes up, stalking forward, then getting touched--she’s a little anxious, tight in early going. Cindy boxing breezy for points--round ends with a frustrated Nolin clinch. At

the bell, Crawford tugging her arms free of Nolin’s grasp--blonde with a vicious, intentional head butt under the left eye has the ref charging in a s ringsiders leap to their feet a-booing.

R2: Crawford’s eye swelling up something horrible--Gena takes advantage with a pair of early swinging right hands, clanging away upside Cindy’s head. Crawford driven into retreat, blinking, trying to re-establish her jab, but curvy blonde muscling forward, bodying up, walking Crawford into the ropes and going to work extra cheap on the inside, Nolin worrying that eye with tousle-scrub, slamming away to Cindy’s constantly reefing on Gena’s arms, pulling her back and wagging a stern finger in her face--sneering G just pushes her way past and hungrily keeps up the pressure. Nolin brutal as she stalks Cindy along the ropes, leaning in, swinging away with both hands underneath and plugging trunk--poor Cindy sitting in the ropes, gurgling in protest as Gena has her way. Only a matter of time--defenceless Cindy trying to slide left takes a shattering overhand right high on her head--toppling sideways as Gena reloads and pounds another beauty across the face. Crawford bludgeoned to all fours, belly heaving in and out as she tries to gather herself, but it’s no use. KO2 Gena Lee Nolin in heinous fashion.

After: Crawford sobbing at the ropes, still on all fours--Gena going for a little strut, then charging over, grabbing the top rope and putting a thick right boot up into Cindy’s belly and flank. Poor brunette shunted out onto the apron outside the ring, lying on her belly, hugging her outraged ribs as Nolin guffaws--absolutely disgusting as boos cascade down on the scene. Gena showing renewed vigor tonight, as well as renewed commitment to lawlessness--somehow, she’s right back in the hunt in the unpredictable middleweight division.
