BOXING AFTER DARK

Before: Welter contenders jostling for position - both girls want to pretty themselves up with a dominant performance and get right back in the hunt. Fighters couldn't be more opposite if they tried - Crawford all supermodel haughty with world class skills - Nolin with bad intentions behind every punch - blonde definitely aware of brunette's disdain out of the ring and this match up's always personal. Cindy in messy ponytail, crop top black tshirt, black aerobics bottoms, Nolin in yellow sport bikini, black mesh to a high neck, messy ponytail.

During R1: Crawford looks to deny Gena some essentials early - backing the blonde up with the jab, stepping back, then nailing Nolin a short right hand as blonde rushes in - Crawford happy to clinch and hold for a break after scoring. Cindy also defensively cute, anticipating Gena well, legging out of trouble to make the blonde miss. Nolin adjusting late, roughing Cindy up in the clinch with a forearm grind on the face, muscling the brunette to the ropes and stuffing gut with right hands in close. Tempers flaring at the bell as neither girl really imposes her will this round.

R2: Nolin out with free swinging malice, bashing away at the arms of her foe - Crawford rolling and riding it out, runs Gena into a beautiful counter right hand at the midway point that has the blonde wobbly butt. Nolin staggered, loads up on predictable right hands - Crawford blocking with a high left and answering with that short right sock on the jaw - Muscular punching from Crawford beats Gena to the ropes. Cindy playing it smart, luring Nolin back to mid ring, touching the blonde with a stubborn stick, moving to the right away from Nolin's power - classy brunette second.

R3: Crawford really looking good. She's in control with the spearing jab, stepping it into Nolin's available mug, then shuffling to the right as Gena regroups. When Nolin gets the right hand off - Crawford blocks it high, twists into the hard counter right on the jaw almost in one motion - Nolin's getting hurt by that punch as she runs repeatedly onto it. Gena avoids the shutout late with sweeping right hands that spank loudly off Crawford middle - but Nolin's ragged - getting rocked through 3.

R4,5: Consolidation rounds for Cindy C - brunette using the ring, moving Gena back with the jab, extending on right hands then clinching. When Nolin comes forward, she's getting a mouthful of mitt courtesy the cute block and counter routine, then promptly wrapped up for referee's breaks. Punch and clutch working well whenever Cindy wants to mix it up, and when she doesn't - she's steering Gena outside with the stick.

R6: Gena stalking - reaching with her left, sweeping over the top with right hands, but she crosses Crawford up with a hook to the body, right hand on the cheek that sends the brunette stumbling to her right. Nolin following up with some bashing shots off the ribs - Crawford forced to stand and slug for the first time in the bout. Crowd pleasing trade as Cindy trades bitterly to keep her back off the ropes - both girls fielding clouting blows to the jaw and ribcage without a backward step.

R7: Crawford with and early clinch and Gena's tired of it - she gives Cindy a rubbing facial with the left forearm to rough the brunette up at the ropes. Ref issuing breaks, but not pushing Gena back - Nolin able to pile back on, get after Cindy with laces, armlocks, headbutts - all subtle, cloying action in close, but Crawford's starting to get nicked. Cindy spins off the ropes at the midway point and takes to her heels - brunette clearly running as blonde walks her down but can't cut off the ring.

R8: Gena getting gasps from the crowd as she dips a shoulder and hooks Cindy's trunks - ref immediately stepping to give Crawford a wincing time out as Nolin hears boos. Gena licking her lips at the prospect of mugging a defenceless brunette upon resumption, but Crawford loads up and hooks trunk, doubling Gena up and this fight gets ugly. Girls start to bang away indiscriminately, punching each other between the hips, slamming forearms to jugs in tight, using front headlocks to bend the other forward and expose her back to clubbing hammerfists - ref working overtime to scold both beauties. At the bell, chests are heaving, eyes glaring with outrage, and Cindy's more than held her own in the reckless brawling.

R9: Gena wants more chaos, but Crawford restores order with her legs and left mitt, stepping to the right off a chiselling, scraping jab, just shaving at Gena's mouth and forehead with it. Crawford able to drop in the right hand over Gena's left shoulder - Nolin's taken a great punch tonight, but hasn't had a lot of answers for CC's banging cross.

R10: Gena bangs her way into Cindy with a series of driving lefts and rights to trunk - Crawford buckling, draping her hands up high on Nolin, brunette's driven into the ropes looking windblown. Gena wrapped up but still able to work - she pounds away with right elbow/forearms to Cindy's aching ribs as the ref pulls at Crawford's arms for a break. Gena roars back in, clobbering Cindy's head around with the overhand right, then clapping the wide left to the jaw and CRAWFORD GOES DOWN! Cindy stunned on all fours - an enraged Gena Lee stoops to batter the girl's shiny lower back with cavewoman tomohawks until the ref can tackle her away. Crawford takes a swaying 8, looks forlorn as Gena wades back in and GUTS the brunette with a devastating right elbow smash to the belly, piling on to body up and disguise the foul. Gena pushing up on Cindy - feeling the collapse, muscling the brunette back into the ropes, then plowing home the hurt - monster right hands to the face or underhand to the belly - CRAWFORD SWOONS TO THE CANVAS! Cindy bludgeoned to her knees once again and AGAIN - Nolin takes advantage by shamelessly pretending to be off balance and piling her full weight into the beleagured brunette, pancaking Cindy to canvas. Ref sorts it out, bodying Gena to a neutral corner as the bell sounds. Comes back an unpopular UD10 Cindy Crawford!

AFter: Crawford taking the Jessica Alba road to victory - boxing her girl into a hole then cratering late to make it interesting. Brunette badly beaten, given the smelling salts on her stool as Nolin is restrained by FCBA officials - Gena fined heavily for her post-match conduct as judges are escorted from the building.
