Beating Theron for belts - denying her that which she feels is her birthright - is going to be the sweetest moment of my career."

Theron glowing - fighting for a title good in itself; fighting against Angie again makes it that much more special. "Right at the start of my career, we booked Angie Harmon - and it was a huge fight for me at the time," Charlize recalls. "Nobody knew if I could fight - a lot of people had Harmon favoured over me. We take my greatness for granted now, but then? If I had lost to Harmon, I probably wouldn't have gotten back on HBO for another year at least - that's how pivotal beating her turned out to be. Charlize legging away, circling to her right, pushing at Angie's arms and shoulders while bouncing away, trying to create distance. Minute mark - Theron loping counterclockwise manages to walk Angie into a slinging overhand right on the face; thick mop up hook straps loud across Angie's ribs, halting her forward progress. Charlize slowly gaining control - now step-pivoting to her left, rifling out a heavy jab head and shoulders on Angie. Theron eyes narrowed as she pounds poke, drops the odd right or lead the odd right hand up the middle: Harmon's beautiful face spanking back from banging blonde leather. Down the stretch, Charlize easing into control - Angie at arm's length, turning at midring, dukes up but catching nearly everything Charlize' is throwing in the first.

Rd 2: Charlize greeting Angie midring with a slinging lead right hand on the mouth - one step right, then Char gets it again, drawing oohs and ahhs from the crowd. Angie blinking, proving sturdy as she gobbles wallop - but she's not getting off. Charlize pivots left around that howitzer jab - just pounding at Harmon's raised guard, her slender arms, face and upperchest. Long right hands feature up top: whether blocked or not, Theron coming back with a strapping hook against Angie's ribcage or waist, taking brunette breath away. Harmon with a stricken expression, cramping up hurt from several lashing body shots distributed throughout the round - Charlize circling patiently, extending on shots, laying welterweight-type sock on her svelte foe through 2.

Rd 3: Pounding continues - Charlize really getting off with every inch of Oscar-winning leverage in that sleek chassis of hers. Charlize spreading Angie out with the jab, but also pushing Harmon roughly in her shoulders, constantly shoving smaller brunette off balance and bullying her. Theron circling, allowing Angie to come robotically forward - blonde just walking brunette into the punishment, beating Harmon to the work. Savage, savage body licks - big, fat, strapping licks CHUP! CHUP! CHUP! sounding out from Angie's lithe torso - brunette soaking up unacceptable shellack to her ribs and breadbasket. Good strategy from team Theron - body work really stifling Angie's non-stop attack - brunette throwing only a fraction of the punches she used to subjugate Helfer and Scott. Angie in pain, struggling forwardl like a trooper - but it's a mistake, playing into Charlize hands. Down the stretch, Theron stepping back in good order, getting her hips synchopated with lanky, strapping rights and lefts to the ribcage behind Angie's arms and ANGIE GOES DOWN! Champ breathless - mouth open, eyes shut, eyebrows arched high - she stoops, reaches forward and goes gingerly to all fours as crowd roars to it's feet. Sunny smile Charlize, hands high as she struts to neutral corner - nobody appreciates the sight of a gamine-limbed, deeply tanned brunette beaten to her knees more than CT.

Rd 4: Shutout Charlize - just consolidating, adding to the punishment, breaking Angie systematically down. Lateral movement from Theron very well conceived - tape analysis of Harmon's recent victories showed her to be a come-forward type girl who follows rather than cuts off the ring. Hard, jarring palm-shoves in Angie's shoulders jostling her, disrupting her approach. When Angie DOES penetrate - Charlize happily ties her up head-and-right elbow, pulling her in close and smothering her for ref's break. At arm's length, Charlize weight on her front foot as she pivots left, pushing off the ball of her right foot on pulverizing jabs, rifle-right hands, scorching hooks - Angie simply being shelled as she comes obediently forward. After four, Angie's face a bruised, shiny mess, Angie's ribs throbbing, slender legs trembling as she shambles back to her stool for the break.

Rd 5: Angie gambles, trading right hands with Charlize - Theron startled, leaning back with her hands down: Harmon clouts a ringing hook across blonde mouth; trims Charlize a swinging right to chin and CT'S HURT! Charlize staggering backward, eyes wide, mouth open - Angie stomping forward stabbinig straight left/rights out from her shoulders, pounding at Charlize' face and chest to drive her ropeside. Theron hits ragged, covers up sullen: face-in-gloves, torso tilted forward as Angie swarms in. BEATDOWN! Harmon teeth bared, dark eyes flashing - OH she tears at Charlize, slender fat-free arms shivering as fists bounce off Oscar-winning ribcage. Theron moping behind her mitts, twisting slowly this way and that, sliding to her right along the ropes: Angie stepping-with and just SHELLACKING the torso. Gorgeous stuff to watch and hear - bright, spanking impacts as leather claps into Theron's long flanks, smashes at her ears/shoulders up around her guard. Harmon just churning out the offense - lathering at CT's full arms, lavishing blows upon the hips - knuckle-pushing CT in her guard to prop her against ropes, then swinging lusty roundhouses at her body. Goes on and on and on - Charlize covered up tight, elbows in close to her body - she's obviously trusting her legs and chassis to absorb whatever Harmon can dish. At the bell, Angie absolutely frazzled, colour high as she looks Charlize over for signs of quit. Theron with tears standing in her eyes - she's badly buzzed, but soaking the beating very well. During the break, it's Charlize who recuperates better, coming off her stool the fresher-limbed beauty.

Rd 6: Hard two-way fighting - both women slowed. Charlize more flat footed, more apt to stand in front of Angie - but it's on purpose now as corner wants her to start trading punch for punch with the lighter beauty. Harmon snarling, clubbing right hands against Charlize' head, scraping her left hooks ribs and jaw - but the output just isn't there. Theron able to cover up peek-a-boo, lean forward to block shots, then answer: she's dropping short little lead rights out of her raised guard; trimming little left uppercuts; clouting heavy hooks to chin and waistline. Harmon banged up in the exchanges, backed gradually to ropes. Down the stretch, Charlize able to get big on Angie - just methodically palming her in the shoulders, beating her in the body with lugging, hamhanded licks from either hand, bodying up to make Harmon take weight when Charlize wants to rest. Bell: Angie's eyelashes fluttering, lips parted - she's having trouble with blonde girth as Theron's using her size effectively through 6.

Rd 7: More Charlize going right at Angie - Krusher corner wants head-on collisions now, reasoning that Harmon's punching volume is well below where it needs to be to suppress Theron. Lick for lick, Angie can't stand with Charlize - brunette bravely exchanging her right hand for Theron's, bartering her hook for Theron's - CT getting the better of the deals as Angie's banged to ropes. Theron beefy in there, pressing Angie flat with a full tummy-on-tummy press, smearing and smothering the wiry champion. Charlize riding her left hand round back of Angie's head Cat Bell style - anchoring brunette for systematic, thumping right hands in her body. CT using her shoulders/extended elbows to push and jostle, using her hands to pull Angie's guard down - blonde just clubbing and clobbering at short range, beating head, body and arms with constant clout. Bell: Harmon reeling, badly broken down, eyes glassy - she's being taken apart through 7 and both girls know it.

Rd 8: Tough to watch - Charlize stepping to Angie and initiating exchanges - brunette with no plan B accepts the terms and slugs to her detriment. Angie just pushing punches now - no real snap as her gloves bump at CT's chin, chest, ribs. Theron hurting Angie in response: great, shellacking right and left roundhouses swung to ribs and waist; short, muscular right uppercuts off the right foot; loose, lanky hooks clouted to ear and shoulder, buffetting Harmon off balance. Harmon being bodied to ropes and smothered in blonde - Harmon being held and hit, beaten relentlessly to her body and flanks. Fat-free brunette sopping up tremendous punishment - refuses to give Charlize satisfaction - but it's a very shopworn champion straggling back to port for repairs during the break.

Rd 9: The pride of Angie Harmon. Badly deteriorated at this point, walking on her heels, face puffy and sore, eyes swollen to slits - she nonetheless competes with Charlize - clawing and clubbing punches head and body on Theron as Charlize presses her claims in kind. Angie can't possibly win these exchanges, but she forces Charlize to actually slug and push for dominance - Harmon unwilling to concede anything to her tormentress. Charlize obliging - now taking cruel delight in loading up and stroking right hands to Angie's body just below the breastline. Harmon sobbing aloud, eyes shut tight, hands outstretched as her legs freeze up from these monster shots: Theron smiling at the sight/sound of her foe being debilitated to the body.

Rd 10: Angie wallowing midring, turning shabbily, hands up in a sad parody of a boxing stance. Charlize circling deliberately left, keeping her distance, pushing off the ball of her right foot to make each punch count. Harmon simply facing into punishment - Charlize pulsing in the jab to bang back Angie's face; leaning in clean, single shot right hands to face, banging back Angie's face. Step and poke, step and poke - Charlize pounding at Angie, but refusing to step up the pace to get Harmon out of there: this is punishment for punishment's sake with the fight already won. Angie gobbles it - dimly resentful, but unable to stop it: all she can do is show pride as Theron does damage wire to wire. Bell: Charlize thrusting her hands high, stepping chest-to-chest with Angie and bumping her backwards. Emphatic UD10 for the winner and NEW Paramount Lightweight Champion - Charlize Theron.

After: Angie badly battered, sullen as her belt is taken from her by officials - Harmon's heart broken once again by Charlize. Theron oblivious to Angie's plight - blonde basking in the support of her comrades, the roar of the crowd: Charlize' appetite for victory insatiable, her lust for gold unspeakable.

"Whatever Angie has, I take eventually," Theron beams in postfight. "It's just the way things are. I don't feel sorry for her, I mean - lions gotta eat, right? I'm the lion - Angie's a gazelle. Yummy!"

Could there be a Theron/Nolin consolidation for all the marbles at lightweight? Charlize' eyes harden: "We'll discuss it with Kim and Ginny. All I can say at this time is that it's under consideration. Whatever's best for the sport, and for the great fans of boxing - that's what we'll do. If that means pushing Gena out of my division with a solid beating - so be it."
