Before: Controversial match up harkens to the golden age of boxing, when lighter weight fighters routinely challenged much bigger foes. Fishel looking to overwhelm the murderous punching Connelly with speed, but pundits like Jennifer's overall blend of power and smarts. Remains to be seen whether or not Dani can take a true lightweight's punch.

During R1: Dani approaching aggressively, but bobs down into Jennifer's looping right uppercut and nearly goes down to open the fight. Fishel knocked on to one foot, is hurt, and Connelly calmly bodies up. Jennifer smothering Dani, pulling her close with the left mitt at Dani's neck, and slugging short right clouts to the side of the neck. Connelly with a sexy look of industrious cruelty as she pounds her way to a shutout of Dani in close quarters.

R2: Dani pours back into the breach, smacking her fists into Connelly's creamy flanks, but once again, the big brunette eventually bodies up, pulls Dani in, and begins the workmanlike task of clubbing Fishel into submission. Dani pushed and pulled this way and that as Connelly rests her mitts behind Dani's neck, slugging and tugging at will. Fishel just not strong enough, getting pushed around, and beaten like a schoolgirl. Jennifer cupping the back of Dani's neck with the left, ends the round with sickening blows with the right fist deep into the pit of Fishel's stomach.

R3: All Jennifer Connelly as she splits Dani's lip with a staggering jab to stop Fishel in her tracks, then bodies up to wear Fishel out the rest of the way. Dani riding her gloves on Connelly's hips, beaten into a glassy eyed slumber as Connelly holds and hits with cruel detachment. Connelly constantly putting Dani in headlocks, or clinching to force a break, then walking the smaller girl down for more abuse.

R4: Jennifer banging back Dani's head with that surprisingly hard jab, then bodying up to walk Dani to the ropes. Connelly still all business, working diligently to slug Dani's trembling body or bash her jaw with heavy handed, slogging technique. Fishel can't go but where Jenny lets her, and the punishment begins to take on an air of overkill. In the final minute, with Dani sitting hunched over on the ropes, Jennifer finally lets both hands go, banging at Fishel's flanks with meaty thumps to the bell.

R5: A dazed and battered Dani Fishel stumbles out and into a shaving right across her lips that spins her sideways, and the rout is on. Jennifer with the free shot, welts Fishel's kidney's with a right round punch, sending Dani staggering forward with an arched back and a grimace. Connelly stalking, dropping her cement fists onto Dani's arms and head, beating the smaller girl from pillar to post. Pushing Fishel to the ropes again, Jennifer stoves in Dani's ribcage with ponderous lefts and rights. Fishel's expression blank, eyes fluttering, taking clean flush blows on her jaw and body, finally slides down Jennifer's legs to lie in a little heap at Connelly's feet. Jennifer stares haughtily before strutting back to her corner as Dani sits on her haunches, unable to stand. KO5 Jennifer Connelly.

After: Dani absorbs an astonishing 4 shutout rounds out of five from Jennifer, and soaks up one of the most punishing beatings of her career to date. Connelly with a text book big woman performance, never let Fishel execute, hurting her early, putting the body on her, and wearing her down in time to see a late show after the fight. Makes you wonder where Connelly's been all this time.
