Before: Young Elisha stung by criticism in the press and on the internet--she’s being dismissed as a fluke and doesn’t like it. “Maybe I am an ex-champion,” Elisha sniffs, “but that’s something Blalock will never be. let’s she HER beat Eliza. Never gonna happen. Why Don’t people pick on her?” Blalock somewhat sympathetic, but professional in outlook. “My job is simple: beat Elisha Cuthbert, as decisively as possible. we’re all looking for those highlight reel moments in a fight that will show up on the evening news--beating a girl senseless along the ropes, knocking her out. If Elisha can’t handle the downs as well as the ups, she shouldn’t be in this business. The criticism she’s getting now is going to get just a little bit hitter after I’m done with her.” Elisha in black FHM bikini, Jolene in black sports bra, black bikini bottoms.

During R1: All Blalock, all the time. Jolene stunning Elisha early with splashy right hands, keeping a hissing jab on Cuthbert to drive her outside and pouring in more crossing rights. Elisha staggering, bending forward--she’s a confused beauty and by the second minute she’s getting clocked solid, Jolene able to load up and bend into gorgeous rights, spanking flat against the left side of Cuthbert’s face and ELISHA GOES DOWN! Cuthbert on all fours, blinking in shock, lightning bolt cut opened up at the hairline--she’s shabby! Cuthbert barely beats the count, lashing lefts and rights scorching Elisha as she covers up to soak. At the bell, Blalock chesting up and glorying in the dazed, distant look in Elisha’s swelling eyes.

R2: Elisha combative early, but Blalock methodically takes it all away. Slicing jab off the hip stops Cuthbert in her tracks--Blalock able to extend on right hands and step off to the right as Elisha’s legs soak up the tremors. Blalock leaning  in, bending her knees and really cranking in those Tommy Hearns hooks up underneath to get at Cuthbert’s midriff as she folds forward.

R3: Blalock’s TEARING it up with right hands! Crashing early impacts have Elisha stepping in fence post holes--cute Canuck covering up and weaving, face-in-gloves while Blalock unleashes. Blalock changing distance by shifting her weight from front foot to back--leaning in on right hands, leaning out with hooks and also slapping out the backhand stick while she circles. Elisha busting up around the eyes, bleeding from the nose--she’s in tatters, getting blows out on the cards, outclassed in the ring.

R4: Blalock striding in the bully, looking to mop up--Elisha stands her ground and OH, the slugging! Jolene tilting her torso to the left, right hand high as she sets and cranks up with rising hooks, trying to chin-check Elisha out of there. Cuthbert arms crossed, bobbing at the waist, standing right in front and pitching back with wide shots as she twists her hips into tight rips. Midway through BLALCK GOES DOWN! Furious 2-way firefight ends in a thunderclap as Jolene gets her head swiveled by a hook and promptly scoots to her rear-end. Blalock wide-eyed, takes a shaky 8 and CUTHBERT climbs aboard. Brawny shove and slug up against the ropes, Elisha inside at last and going at Jolene’s slender ribcage with blind fury. ‘Lishy slugging murderously to back, belly, ass and thigh at the bell--Jolene presenting her left side, sagging sideways into the ropes, cradling her throbbing body as the ref jumps in.

R5: CARNAGE! Cuthbert looping overhand rights against Jolene’s jab, jumping in with gambling hooks, gets Blalock moving straight back and JOLENE GOES DOWN! Blalock misjudging distance, times her off the ropes late and goes down in a heap instead. Jolene nodded “yes” to the ref, legs stiff--he’s flat footed now, meeting Elisha’s charge head on. Brutal stuff--Blalock slugging drowsy, stooping forward, clipping Cuthbert with uppercuts, bring wide rights to the flank, working her way up the torso with shattering shots and trying to cash in that chin. Final minute ELISHA GOES DOWN! Cuthbert takes a seat off a collision of whippy right hands that goes Jolene’s way. Blalock shouting in fury as she looms over Elisha at the bell. Blistering Round of the Year candidate, bioth girls ramshackle in their corners, trainers desperately going to work.

R6: Blalock steers a lanky right hand into Elisha’s jaw--Cuthbert walks through it, hurls a looping right hand to the eyes and JOLENE GOES DOWN! Blalock on her back, trickle of blood out the corner of her mouth--she rolls painfully to all fours and just beats the count. Jolene tagging Elisha, but not getting the zip on the shots she had earlier and Cuthbert marches in! Randy beating at the ropes, Cuthbert getting her head under Jolene’s chin, rotating her shoulders--Elisha is SAVAGING Jolene’s luscious melons and going to work on the midsection.; But Blalock’s banging  back! Jolene’s legs immobile, but she twisting into rising lefts and rights--just clubbing it out tit for tat at the bell. ref has to separate ‘em--girls are swaying, exhausted, just fighting on autopilot at this point.

R7: Elisha back to the bra, working it over in close with Brittany Daniel-like vigor, Jolene backed to the ropes and suffering--face pinched in pain, she’s trying to tie up, slow the mugging. Elisha migrating to he belly and chin, powering through Blalock’s clinch with sheer tenacity--Jolene can’t stop the bombardment, Midway through--body shot shakes Blalock up, split second later a right hand/forearm cleaves across her teeth and BLALOCK IS DOWN! Jolene dropping onto her haunches, back against the ropes--Elisha leans in with her thighs to press up on her foe, balancing herself against the top rope as the ref moves in. Final minute--Elisha wades in to mop up and BLALOCK’S not done! Jolene working out of a forward lean, hands at her face, just picking Elisha up with right and left uppercuts out of the right guard, backing the kid up at the bell.

R8: Elisha on Blalock: scouring, rubbing her head against the shoulders, face, upper chest, pulling in punches from the sides to ransack the swell of Jolene’s jugs ort work those flat abs. Jolene brawling back: pushing up with her guard, then trying fort the tight little uppercuts, just trying to move Elisha back, not wanting to give in,. Who wants it more? Down the stretch it’s Elisha--she’s got Jolene’s butt in the ropes and she’s just bashing away at unprotected flanks as a wilting Blalock sags at the bell.

R9: Elisha willing herself to keep coming forward, keep moving her hands--she’s just wading in and outworking Jolene toe to toe. Blalock all busted up, legs are gone--she’s laying in and waiting for spots, lifting in short uppercuts with mindless, methodical rhythm. Elisha reaching her left in under Jolene’s right, shouldering her girl back--Cuthbert’s fighting her fight and piling up the points.

R10: Elisha coming in--Jolene takes a half step back and TURNS on a potshot right, clapping Elisha’s face hard to starboard. Cuthbert falling forward, legs shot--she desperately wraps up around Jolene’s waist as Blalock swings away around the outstretched arms to beat those ribs. Ref’s break--Blalock wades in, lathering with loose-limbed strokes, drawing her fists backhand across Elisha’s drowsy face to set up the other mitt--Cuthbert is battered the length of the ring. But down the stretch it’s CUTHBERT answering! ‘Lishy just lowering her head and wailing away wide and high, Jolene spent, trying to cup her hands around Cuthbert’s ears and hold her for breaks--what a fight! Comes back UD10...Elisha Cuthbert!

After: Fight of the year candidate--both girls in semi-stupor as crowd rises to deliv3er a raucous standing ovation. Oh those middle rounds--rounds in which both women dished and received horrendous punishment--proved decisive as Elisha paid the price to get Jolene fighting the wrong fight. “I definite underestimated her--I just felt I’d won the fight in that first couple of rounds, I never dreamed she’d be abler to come back on me the way she did.” Cuthbert barely recognizable, still trembling from the effort--Janet Jones does the talking, one arm around her fighter’s broad shoulders. “It was outrageous the way the pres turned on this kid after the Michelle Rodriquez fight,” scolds Janet. “She showed what she’s all about tonight--looks, talent AND guts--she’s the most complete fighter at sub120, bar none.”
