Boxing After Dark

Before: Dana returning to her natural weight after a highly successful stint at Flyweight--practically laying down a blue-print on a career management in the process. O’Dell quietly improving at bantam, last time out saw her lay waste to Joan Chen--she’s eager to come at an old rival who hasn’t seen her lately. Dana in pink push and panties, Jenny in little blue pushup, white bikini bottoms.

During R1: Girls touch each other stubby jabs, then fall in to slug meaningfully to the body. Both standing on straight legs, leaning in slightly, hands low--they trade bruising strokes to the waist and chest, forgetting for the moment that both have chins. Girls look to rest their palms on one another’s hips, then jolt short punches in tight--working in and around one another’s arms. Busy two-way action, but Dana’s landing a blockbuster right hand just inside Jenny’s left hip that’s sounding out lout, drawing pained winces from the blonde--tough Round 1 to Dana.

R2: Veteran knows she’s found something and goes right back to her girl. Standing toe to toe, hands low again, Dana starts piling in those rights to the lower belly, holding her own hands across her stomach, using her shoulder and chest as she leans forward to budge Jenny into position. O’Dell finally emitting a pepping whimper as her legs give way--she falters to the ropes as Dana steps with her. Jenny keeping that left elbow in tight to take away the hurt--Dana curling the right hand to the breasts and across the jaw as the girls continue to trade inside. Round to Dana.

R3: Jenny recovers nicely--they touch each other with stubby jabs, fall in for more of the same wrecking crew. Standing straight, leaning in, both women look as though they’re carrying bricks in either hand, just heaving the blocks up into one another’s sturdy torsos, Dana a little more clever--she’ll trap Jenny’s right glove between an arm and hip--get some free shots in on the body as the blonde tugs her hand free--Dana’s right hand is winning the fight, bashing up and down Jenny’s right side, scooting in on the belly at will.

R4: Shutout Jenny O’Dell. Dana’s been setting a blistering pace--she backs off, covers up with her arms across her gut and draws some steam out of the blonde. O’Dell hit’s a lot of forearms and shoulders this round, but she does have success digging in behind the elbows, leaning over from side to side to open up Dana’s lower back. Nudging each other with shoulders--faces just inches apart--this is bruising, body on body warfare.

R5: Dana uptempos again, temporarily beating the fight out of Jenny who stands up straight, breathing through her mouth, reaching for Dana’s hips in a not-quite clinch. Dana able to reef around Jenny’s arms to cudgel midriff--blonde’s tummy soaking up constant impact as Dana curls short blows in with both hands. Jenny looking shook  up at the bell as Dana grins, holds her right mitt under the blonde’s nose.

R6: Jenny shakes it off, comes right back at Dana as the grueling trench warfare continues. Girls hunching over more now, wrestling more on the inside--punching room starts to become a premium, O’Dell walking Dana back, having success with a little curling left uppercut to the sternum, then a blockbuster right hand out wide to the side. Delany’s butt touches ropes for the first time as she clinches around Jenny’s waist, letting the blonde slap at her back at the bell.

R7: Dana doing a little more of what she had originally planned--banging that short jab up the middle, giving Jenny the left shoulder and pivoting around, turning the blonde, not letting O’Dell set her feet. Output drops for both woman, but Delany able to bang teeth with a little counter uppercut, then clinch up under the arms for breaks. O’Dell frustrated this round as Dana shows some belated savvy.

R8: Jenny’s still coming on strong--Dana mouth breathing, retreating behind a jab or lead right hand potshot--but O’Dell soon walks her down. Chest to chest, cheek to cheek, the blonde continues to hammer away at the waist--Dana clinching more, starting to look shopworn. A chopping right on the temple spills Delany to the ropes and she covers up, folds forward to give Jenny the opportunity to really blast away. Big lusty lefts and rights up underneath and wide into the sides--blonde slugging with gusto to shutout, smiles and bounces away at the bell.

R9: Jenny O’Dell pitches it in underhand--bludgeoning Dana to the ropes with crude lefts and rights up into the tummy pot--Delany once again unable to answer back as blonde’s stamina starts to tell. Dana swamping Jenny with clines, trying to slow down the beating--but O’Dell won’t be denied--she drives Delany into the ropes, palms up on the older woman’s hips, rips to the gut, bashes away on the sides--using her left shoulder to shove Dana back for more. Shutout Jenny O’Dell--Dana left humming as she takes  bell to bell slugging like a mule.


R10: Jenny piling on again--Dana sullen, hurting, waltzes with the blonde as the girls body up--but it’s Jenny doing the punching. Dana clinching around the waist--Jenny chopping around the redhead’s arms to get at the sweet meat and ribs--Delany soon props herself on the ropes and looks to clinch once again. Down the stretch--ref warns “Gotta punch,Dana!”, Delany responds--catching jenny with some cute counters as she bends side to side, avoiding the shutout. O’Dell raising her mitts at the bell--she’s disappointed at the decision: a draw.

After: Dan putting the blocks to Jenny early--success toe to toe probably the worst thing that could have happened as redhead gets caught up in the slugging. O’Dell soaking up a beating through the first 3, but recovering well, managed to take the fight to the ex-champ and paint a very convincing blonde picture down the stretch, Tough, tough body punching war--attrition taking it’s too on Delany late.
