VIX: Alpha Pack @ the Wolf Lake Speedway (June 5th)

BEFORE:
With Eden still under a VIX development contract, she’s technically considered a Free Agent, though it’s equally clear the Israeli model’s being pushed by VIX management the same way Jessica Clements was before her debut (and subsequent release) just a couple of years ago.

“I’m not allowed to say anything yet, but why the question? You guys are already getting tired of me, huh?” Eden says during the press tour, her lips snaking into a thin smile. “I’m happy to be back - that’s all I can say. I have plenty yet to give, and plenty to take as well, as Jessica will find out the hard way. Maybe a little later down the line, it’ll be time to pay Valentina another visit, eh?”

Her opponent tonight has seen some glimpses of glory in the past three years, Jessica Ashley briefly getting signed, and then terminated, by Chimera a year ago. Ever since then, she’s stayed afloat on the market, recently falling to Hannah Ferguson in her debut but then showing promise against girls like Valerie van der Graaf and Hailee Lautenbach.

“The size of Eden’s ego - no wonder the Vixens want her on their roster. I can only speak from personal experience that not all new signings have happy endings. Eden’s loss to Valentina clearly showed that we’re all kinda fallible, so I’d caution her to not take things (or me) for granted.”

Lanky models face off at the podium, Eden still smirking into Jessica’s face as they pose with bare-knuckled fists close to each other’s chins. Barely a one-inch height advantage for Cohen in this contest, with the rest of the fight to be dictated by how badly either girl wants the win. They break apart without further incident, then head backstage for their final prep.

Hours later, Eden’s wearing a semi-transparent and lacey black lingerie set, showing off plenty of that tanned and oiled skin to go with her pair of red gloves. Jessica goes for tigress stripes tonight, a brown and orange spotted bikini wrapped around her lean figure as she straps on white gloves. Referee waves for the opening bell and match of the evening, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Ladies clash repeatedly in the center to start off the action, both of them wasting NO time as they slam their gloves in straight to the face and body, drawing mutual grunts from lips. Jessica scores early with a one-two double swing impacting Eden’s stomach, which earns an omph! from the Israeli’s lips, but then, Ashley immediately takes a swipe across her own face, Eden’s return hook slammed into her chin, which arguably does even more double damage, sending the American stumbling off to the side in agony. Eden wisely follows her with more punches at the head, mixing up her jabs and hooks into Ashley’s arms or off the forehead, which ultimately earns the leaner girl more points for pushing her foe about the ring in the remainder of the round.

ROUND 2:
Ashley, not about to give up so easily, rushes in at the bell in round 2 and this time, smartly returns the favour with a couple of stiff pounders to Eden’s face and chin, rocking the taller girl with all her strength to open the second. Eden grunting, wincing, returns the favour with a hard hook to the cheek, another uppercut sent inwards but gets intercepted by the base of Ashley’s arms. A return swipe across the face is the THIRD time in just a minute that Jessica scores a big one on her foe, in turn sending Eden packing off to the side! UGH! Cohen learns the hard way she can’t have her way all the darn time, now forced to cover up and move like the wind in order to prevent a rout like the last round, only this time it’s against her favour. Jessica chases after her with renewed passion, landing more steady jabs to her arms and body before the bell rings too soon before she can dominate Eden on the ropes.

ROUND 3:
The sacking of Cohen continues as an early CLASH erupts between both women in the middle of the ropes, when they both flew in simultaneously to try and take the lead. A swarm of arms and flying fists landed on the other girl in tandem, but Cohen takes a nasty PUNT up into her chin, knocking her head back in an untimely manner. Ashley’s reinvigorated, starts throwing all manner of bombs in Eden’s direction, which again forces the brunette to cover up or risk getting knocked down early. Eden, to her credit, does manage to stem the tide and enthusiasm in the final minute, keeping Jessica at bay with frequent jabs and long strides backwards on her legs, but there’s no doubt in everyone’s mind that Ashley has taken the lead here.

ROUND 4:
Early exchanges are tentative, with both ladies firing jabs from far towards the head but neither really landing square on the face. Eden still looks hurt from losing the past two rounds in a row, chooses to stay at arm’s length while Jessica actively looks for openings she can exploit, the American ducking her head before rocking Eden to the body with a straight punch to the gut whenever possible. Cohen’s not looking too good despite those rumours of her imminent signing with the VIXENs, but at least she stays alive all the way to the bell, doing her best to manage Ashley’s overwhelming aggression as the American model tries to put her away in decisive fashion. End result is another one-sided round against her favour, Cohen getting talked down by her corner after the bell rings as she stumbles back in a daze, though Jessica looks a little winded herself on her way back to hers.

ROUND 5:
Having tried and failed to put Eden away last time, Ashley’s SHOCKED by a sudden one-two combo that stuns her to the nose and lips in the opening seconds of the round, Eden at first playing it cautious to lure her into a false sense of security, before BLASTING that left hand followed by a right cross into the model’s face! UGH! Ashley lets out a grunt, her head snapped backwards in place, before she quickly covers up to block more incoming fire from Cohen, who looks hella hungry after losing out on the past three rounds combined. HERE EDEN COMES, rushing in after with payback shots sent over the top of Ashley’s arms, or under, the Israeli girl’s fast hands landing all over the head and stomach. Ashley definitely has more breathing room even if she loses this round wide, supporting herself on the top rope after the bell rings and wondering if she should have done more in the past few rounds to try and knock Eden down. No time for regrets, however, as Cohen finally catches a break of her own by winning the fifth.

ROUND 6:
Jessica looks sluggish and winded as she comes forward at the sixth, hoping to catch her breath and at least dance a little with Eden, whom she assumes also needs a breather. No dice, with Cohen making for her foe in a very straight line, immediately resuming her attack from earlier. Her fight team must have cautioned her to wake up in between rounds, and show off some of that attitude if she wants to make it big. Make it big Eden does, smashing another right cross into the middle of Ashley’s arms, which more or less breaks her guard apart, or loosens it enough for Cohen to target the American’s face in subsequent quick one-two-three combos that stack into Ashley’s nose and chin over and over again, not letting up one bit! A final grunt from Jess has her cheek bunched in, her head turned to the side as the rest of her body follows the grinding impact of leather driven into that pretty face - AND DOWN SHE GOES, losing her balance and falling onto her side! Eden with the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening, immediately raising her gloves into the air and letting out a roar to the crowd! Can Ashley recover from this?? The fallen girl is scrambling towards the ropes on all fours, but her head and legs are still shaky as she tries to pull herself up too fast… Referee hits the count of 10 and unfortunately, Ashley’s fallen back down to her knees more than once, not able to beat the count! The ref has no choice but to wave the rest of the fight off!

Official Decision: Eden Cohen defeats Jessica Ashley via KO6!

AFTER:
Cohen elated as she is relieved, that nagging loss to Valentina Fradegrada perhaps the only reason she hasn’t yet been officially accepted into the ranks of the Vixens. With this win tonight, she’s one step closer to that reality, climbing onto the second turnbuckle in her corner and soaking in the cheers of the crowds.

Meanwhile, Ashley’s slowly recovering by the ropes, responding to the ring officials' questions with a small nod here or shake of the head there. She’s ignored by Cohen in the immediate post-fight sequence, but before long, the sultry Israeli model is striding over to cement her win, tossing Ashley back down to the ground with a firm grip of her hair.

Jessica groans as she’s laid out once more, powerless to stop Cohen from straddling her tummy, the soon-to-be Vixen making herself comfortable by fixing her hair and flexing for the cameras. Any resistance from Ashley receives a hard slap across the face or a straight punt of a fist between the eyes

“Keep ‘em coming, I say,” Eden later speaks to reporters with a wide grin on her face. “Heard little Alexis wants a piece of the action in the ring. I’m MORE than happy to kick her ass twice.”
