Joy Lenz in a rare TV appearance, but rugged little brunette has been around the block a time or two on the notoriously tough One Tree Hill set. "Girls come in to try us all the time," Bethany says of her years on the show. "Good fighters - names you'd know - and we frequently send 'em away with 2 or 3 losses no one ever hears about. Minka's exactly the kind of girl I've eating up over the years: I'm just glad she's willing to take her beating public!"

Joy-Lenz scowling as she shifts left - elbows out to the sides, hands up chest high - she's turning Minka, managing her. Right hand poke lands for Bethany on Minka's face; left hook soon thereafter: Kelly holding her head high, taking punches as she tries to square up. Minka pawing her right hand lead - almost using it as her jab: left hand generally held in reserve, waiting to hook. Bethany in control with just enough clockwise movement - occasionaly moving in to crowd Minka, push her back: Bethany's experience clearly evident as she touches Kelly up, messes with her footwork through 1.

R2: Minka hopping forward, eyes bright with concentration: same committment to the straight right hand lead, poking straight and stiff for Bethany's face. Joy-Lenz facing into punches, stands her ground: girls trade hooks and Kelly's swinging clout shakes Bethany's knees. Clinch from veteran Lenz: she walks Minka around, exhaling onto her shoulder before pushing off to release. Kelly hops in, setting her right foot sturdy behind her - right hand jamming out straight from shoulder, palm-down. Kelly unafraid to poke two or three rights in a row - she's ranging in, turning over the left hook as soon as the right connects. Bethany's face routinely struck: she's concerned, but handling it well - stepping in to jab Minka's breasts, then hook her chin as girls trade stubby. Final minute sees many rapid fire exchanges as girls land stiff rights and lefts to pretty faces: Minka willing to be pasted for the chance to check Bethany's chin. Bell: girls part: Kelly shiny from punishment, but upbeat: Bethany a little wobbly butt, frowning en route to her corner.

R3: Kelly hopping in, locating Bethany's face via the straight-jolt right hand: Joy-Lenz stumbling away, no longer anxious to accept these terms. Bethany looking to sidestep and counter: Minka hopping to cut off the move, set her legs firm, then drive her punches in: cirsp, straight, palm-down rights and hooks catching Bethany flush. Repeated strikes breaking Joy-Lenz down - she's backpedalling, sputtering, baffled by Minka's pumping output. Kelly walking her girl down: right hand straight to jugs; right hand straight to face; Joy-Lenz backs into ropes, covers up earmuff. Minka hops in grinning, dropping the right hand to pump a rising blow to straining brunette paunch: Joy-Lenz bunching up, sitting in ropes as Minka plows in beefy. Kelly bodies up, curvy legs stamping to prop Bethany upright...then Minka's in there scrubbing, side to side bumping lefts and rights slugging apart Bethany's guard. Joy-Lenz frazzled, desperate: she slugs back from her heels, looking for respect. Girls trade rights, girls trade hooks: Minka landing heavy both times while Bethany's slapping and DOWN GOES JOY-LENZ! Lenz on her back, lips pursed, breathing hard, hands up above her head - she's stopped! KO3 Minka Kelly in cuddly slugging fashion as Lenz can't beat the count.

After: More serious result gets Minka a measure of respect: Bethany a sturdy name, often seen in the camps of Allison Mack, Elisha Cuthbert and other hard-bangers: this is a good win for Kelly. "I punched, and she couldn't take it," Minka laughs, eyes bright in postfight. "She wasn't much different from Audrina afterall!"
