Big step up for Ms. D'errico who has sharpened her pencil on the second tier names and goes for the money against a top ten  pound-for-pound type in Theron. DD giving up height, reach, strength, skill and overall speed, but she does have a decent inside game. Plan is to fight as a poor man's Lopez and hope to find lightning in a bottle.

Round 1: Charlize almost nonchalant, on her toes, hands waving loosely in front of her as she feints and pats at D'errico's face with the left hand. Midway through the round, with Donna cooperating by standing outside, Charlize suddenly steps forward, dips the shoulder and whips a lanky left hook from behind the hip to smack heavily against D'errico's jaw. Donna never seeing the punch, spins to one side and DROPS TO ALL FOURS as Charlize gazes down with no expression. D’errico up at eight, fists at her temples, body rigid with fear and tension - makes an easy target as Charlize lashes the midsection with spanking lefts and rights to the bell.

Round 2: Donna showing courage, sucks it up, cuts down the ring and clinches up underneath the taller girl's arms. Momentary wrestling inside favors Donna as she works hard to get off the odd clubbing double right hand into Charlize' chest and head. Theron laying in, pulling Donna close to stop the punching, digs a noncommittal slap to D'errico's side. Judges like Donna's honest effort and attempts to initiate.

Round 3: Donna coming inside then over the top with a looping right hand, finds Charlize accommodating, D'errico easily able to get inside the taller woman's reach. THERON SHAKEN BY A CLEAN BLAST TO THE BRA, tries to clinch, but Donna staying busy, bracing her shoulder and forearm against Charlize ribcage before turning into right hands to the chest, coming back with snapping left hooks to the liver. Charlize forced to the ropes, taking punches, and a clean right cross on the jaw stuns the big girl and THERON TAKES A KNEE. Charlize soaks it up and owns the next minute, fighting well with uppercuts off the ropes, but DONNA GETS BACK TO CHARLIZE CHEST down the stretch to punctuate a very satisfying stanza for the underdog.

Round 4: Trial horse becomes a race horse as Donna gains confidence against a hurting Theron. D'errico having her way inside, fighting off Charlize chest, CHUGGING AWAY WITH DOUBLE RIGHT HANDS TO THE BREASTS, digging in with solid left hooks to the midsection and keeping her shoulder on Charlize' body between punches. Theron looking weather-beaten, taking way too many clean shots as D'errico tees off for a bell to bell working over of her opponent.

Round 5: Donna really up-tempoing, CHOPPING OVERHAND RIGHTS TO CHARLIZE' BREASTS and upper-cutting lefts to the stomach. Charlize grimacing, trying to clinch, seems shocked as her legs give way. THERON ON ALL FOURS, shakily puts her mouth piece back in as she struggles to her feet. D'errico rushing in to finish, but Theron managing to impale the charging Playmate on the left jab, keeping D'errico at a distance the rest of the way. Charlize in her corner getting read the riot act as her seconds splash water, slap her face, do anything to get their girl in gear.

Round 6: Charlize responding to the urgency, behind on the cards big time, and she gets her legs going despite the sapping effects of Donna's power punches. Theron using a double jab to stop D'errico from getting inside, and Donna is caught in no-man's land by Theron's short straight right hand on the chin. Charlize steering Donna with the jab, scorching her with an authoritative right cross, regains a little confidence this round.

Round 7: Early pressure from D'errico defused as Theron pushes her back by her shoulders, then flicks the double jab out to fluster Donna outside. Midway through the round, Charlize setting down on hard right hands between the breasts, visibly shakes Donna and keeps her well outside on the end of Theron's punches. Charlize stepping forward as Donna retreats, picking apart the smaller blonde with an intrusive jab, and hammering away with the right hands. Down the stretch, a whipping left hook to the ribs bangs home, dropping Donna's arms in a downward jolt, opening the chin for the slicing right hand. D'Errico's head follows her chin in and down, and she is OUT! Timbering FLAT ON HER BACK - Donna D dreams of beating the 10 count while Charlize struts the ring with raised fists for the crowd. KO7 Charlize Theron.

After: Charlize maybe taking D'errico a little lightly, certainly never expected to be going down not once but twice to Donna's average fists. A very hit-able Charlize Theron had her hands full tonight, but made the adjustments, and once again came through with another spectacular KO to pull the fight out. Theron's power covering up a multitude of sins - but for how much longer?
