Before: Both women on a mission - Bell looking to shake off the bitterness of a Shannon Elizabeth KO, Krakowski looking to prove that she belongs with the very best lighweights in the business. Both girls bring tremendous balance and judgement to the fray - two of the best tacticians in the game squaring off. Jane in orange sports bra, red bikini bottoms, Cat in electric blue bikini.

During R1: Bell with the De La Hoya high guard, looking to spike jabs to Jane's forehead - Krakowski in counterpuncher's crouch, right hand open at her chin ready to catch the jab, left hand low across her stomach. Rotating clockwise it's a chessmatch outside - Bell leading with her jab, Jane picking it off or slipping it - not much scoring. Girls hunker in shoulder to shoulder in final minute - spanking trade in close goes Cat's way as her lanky punches seem the more hurtful at the bell.

R2: Same posture from both women - both showing tremendous respect for each other. Cat inching closer behind her jab, starts to drop in the right cross. Midway through, Jane slips in and under the right, comes back with a textbook short left hook on the chin and BELL GOES DOWN! Cat clocked clean, scoots to her backside and tilts onto her hip, supporting arm trembling as she tries to get off her butt! IT'S OVER!!! Cat Bell dazed, trembling, can't beat the count as an equally stunned Jane Krakowski spontaneously bursts into tears of elation. KO2 Jane Krakowski!

After: Shocking upset punctuated by excessive Krakowski in-ring celebration - hard to blame Jane, but Bell doesn't like the blonde face-rub much. "I caught SO MUCH of her chin," Jane exults in post-fight, "I felt the impact in my shoulders and legs and KNEW she wasn't getting up! I want Shannon Elizabeth now, no question about it - I think I've proved I'm the number one contender." When Charlize Theron suggested her punches had ruined Cat for Shannon - people dismissed it as sour grapes. Now that Elizabeth is taking credit for further degrading Bell for Krakowski, the old "is Cat Bell shot?" line of speculation is bound to come around again.
