Before: "I'm taller," Yustman says of her sleek counterpart, "stronger - but Camilla is a slick customer. She's hard to tag clean, so I've got to be patient. I can be big on her, so I'll do that - you'll see me roughing her up, muscling her in the clinches - but in the end, I'll outbox her. When it dawns on her that she can't fight me, and she can't finesse me...I think we could see her surrender a bit. I'll be watching for that." Belle a smouldering presence at the dais - doesn't look the surrendering type. "Timing beats height - but you'd have to actually BE a boxer to know that," Camilla purrs. "Odette's basically trading on a lucky-punch win over Brittany Daniel - and her guys have been blowing smoke up her skirt ever since. When I expose her, it's going to be a shock to her system, because I know she's looking past me to some pretty serious lightweight names. If she's not ready for me, she's not ready for them. R3: Classy Yustman shutout. Odette dominating midring - stepping 'round her jab, keeping Camilla out on the end of poke. Belle visibly frustrated - she's weaving a good deal of Odette's work - but Yustman's left hand IS penetrating, starting to touch Camilla up. Belle forced to press, trying to close-and-hook: Yustman loping back out of range - showing the ability to jab while backing up. Odette choosy with her right hands, but landing them off feints: sleek, slinging shots catching Camilla left side o' the face.

R4: Early success for Camilla, hooking off the jab: she gets to Odette's chin, backing her off. Yustman regrouping midring with lanky locomotion and that piercing poke: visible punishment started to swell up around Camilla's bewitching eyes. Forced to press again, Belle's caught coming in late: ringing right uppercut intercepts, Camilla, lifting her up out of her crouch. Belle stumbling, disorganized: she catches a slapping left upside the head; a driving right cross and BELLE GOES DOWN! Camilla's head turned violently to her right - lips pursed, eyes shut tight as she's forced to take a seat.

R5: Camilla resolute off the canvas - she ups the tempo, doubling her jab to Odette's chest and rifling right hands to Yustman's chin. Odette catching clout - backing straight up in confusion: Camilla stepping-with, able to collect extra touches as Odette loses focus. Yustman's legs coming to her rescue: she's outfought this round, but when she runs, Camilla's having trouble cutting off the ring.

R6,7: Hotly contested rounds, but Camilla finding it more and more difficult to touch her lanky foe. Odette moving well to either direction - showing a variety of jab looks to head and body: clever poke giving Yustman initiative, forcing Belle to gamble. The more Camilla gambles, the more right hands she's forced to accept: uppercuts and crosses both. Camilla getting touched up, but proving a scrapper: when she slides past Odette's jab, Camilla's slashing hooks to ribs and chin - curling the punch with sleek leverage ala Alana De La Garza. Yustman's legs the answer: any time Camilla's in charge, Odette's able to lope away, regroup, then get to tappin'. Through 7, Camilla competitive, but getting pasted: she's busting up around the eyes, looking a little frazzled. Odette? Fresh; pretty.

R8: Camilla does the math, knows she's behind: she turns puncher, effectively pressurizing Odette 'round the ring. Hands low, leaning forward in an offensive crouch - Camilla springs sudden right hand leads onto Yustman's breasts or face; curls left uppercuts to body or chin. Odette recoiling - visibly startled at the venom Camilla still possesses: Yustman legging around, being wary as Camilla's the clear aggressor.

R9,10: Yustman's jab a cold, hard truth tonight: Belle badly busted up down the stretch as punishment takes it's toll on her defensive form. Keying on Belle's face, Odette shows a meanstreak - pounding away with left hands to eyes and exotic cheek bones, knocking back Camilla's drowsy face. Sleek, selective right hands continue to slide in, shocking Camilla to chin or temple: she's taking a good shot, but not showing the ability to answer Odette's power. Yustman pretty slick - setting up her slinging rights with cute feints or stiff jabs: she's tuning up a pretty classy boxer in Camilla, doing most of the damage from outside. 10 round goes as a Yustman shutout; starting to be tough to watch as Odette circles discouraged prey, picking at Camilla like a crow on roadkill. Goes to the cards: wide UD10 (8 rounds to 2 with a knockdown) Odette Yustman.

After: Yustman being pretty in victory: smiling, hugging her people. She's not antagonizing her rival ingenue, but she does favour Camilla with at least one stinging "I'm better" grinning glance as battered Belle's trying to make a graceful exit. "I wanted to dominate her, and I think I accomplished that," a radiant Odette gushes in postfight. "She's tough - I mean - when I started to outclass her, the girl refused to give in. I knew I'd be working her over, but I thought she'd quit; instead - I think it actually made her fight harder. Still - I've got way too much firepower for a girl like that. Any time she tried to rush me, I hurt her. I saw in her eyes that she kind of knew she couldn't get to me tonight."
