Before: Gena jostling for position with Landry basically telling the entire division: "Impress me" - Nolin looking to shake a little rust and get herself back in the picture. Warren well rested after a torrid run to the lightweight title dance, only to be turned back in heartbreaking fashion by slick Charisma C - she's anxious to regain a little traction on old stomping grounds.

"Nolin's about the biggest puncher in the business and we all know about her cheap-streak," says Estella in prefight, "but my legs are the decisive factor in this fight. I box her the way I've trained - I'll take 8 rounds from Gena easy."

Nolin in ice-blue bikini (recent reference) white gloves, white baby Harp seal boxing mukluks - Warren in black SI bikini, tan UGG boxing boots, white gloves.

During R1: Gena using a little finesse in her old age - closing up her stance, pointing the left shoulder at Warren, using a little torso-tilt to the right to help her roll Estella's punches. Nolin flat footed, but efficient, stepping to the right spots at the right times - manages to dictate position to the fleeter, lighter-limbed Warren. G lifting a surprising jab off her hip, snapping it on Estella, easing in on the front (left) foot to cuff short, swiping hooks paunch and ribs on Warren. Nolin also bending in short, savage overhand rights quick off the jab - missing, but wind from those shots enough to back Estella up worried.

R2: Warren jabbing, dancing on her toes, using the ring and looking to drop right hands over Gena's left shoulder. Estella making Nolin miss with footwork - bounding into and off of ropes, spinning to open canvas. Midway through, Warren with just such a maneuver off the apron sidesteps Gena, turning Nolin's left flank as Nolin overextends on a sweeping hook - Warren able to jam a right in behind the ear to wobble Nolin's backside. Gena turning, gloves at her temples, shakes it off and pounds her way into Warren with clubbing lefts and rights on the shoulders and biceps - Estella coasts to the finish line with a savvy clinch behind the elbows to the bell.

R3: Gena with that low slung, dangling left, chin tucked behind the left shoulder, right at her chin - she's steadily walking Estella down with an almost Carpenter-like supple look. Warren perplexed by the Nolin jab: up off the hip, very hard and snappy - It's fixing Warren's attention, allowing Gena to bend into vicious overhand rights. Estella forced to the corners, cuffed and hooked in behind her elbow, across her tummy - Gena very patient, leaning her shoulder into Warren's chest to make her feel the weight. Nolin warned for mauling Estella along the ropes - palming her under the chin, pushing her over the ropes - effectively bogging Warren down in the third.

R4: Warren back to the outside, stepping lively right, teeth bared as she slides counterclockwise, jabbing into Gena's chest and body, leaning in her own fearsome right hand. Nolin unable to get off as Warren's winning the battle of position this round - but Gena much more together defensively than usual: chin's tucked, she's rolling Warren's right hand pretty well. Estella finding a weapon late: hard right hand in Gena's back as Nolin bends to her right - G grimacing, arching her back stiffly at the bell, clearly unamused.

R5: Warren continues to fight her fight - turning Gena with her feet, finding Gena with the jab, drilling her with opportunistic crosses as Nolin fails to cut off the ring. G getting tagged, but taking supermodel punch well - she's alternating from dangling left to hands at eyebrows, trying to move her head consistently. Warren wowing the crowd late with a slinging brace of hooks against Gena's tummy - licking the shots while twisting her hips into the blows - Nolin just soaking it up, guard high, lips a tight line of hurt. Estella imposing her will a little, forces glaring eye contact as she passes en route to corner - Nolin in a funk during the break.

R6: Gena jabbing Carpenter-style out of the closed stance, trying to startle WArren long enough to land that whistling overhand right - Estella able to backpedal out of range to avoid harm, hitting ropes and covering up to receive the charge. Nolin sprawling on Warren - bending her back over the ropes, hacking and clubbing at her: ref breaks it up with a warning. G wading back in, bodying Estella into ropes, wrestling her, lacing her face savagely in the clinch, holding her in the crook of the left arm while plugging her rights to the midsection - more ref's warnings. G stalking with the up-jab, shadowing Warren along the ropes, patiently busting her up, easing in close to work with that tight, cuffing hook to body. Warren mouthbreathing - starting to wear down under the constant press of Gena - Nolin club-clouting the arms with short, swiping blows, doing a nice job of turning her torso into the shots and tucking her chin behind either shoulder to avoid clean counters. Warren banged up this round, grimacing en route to her corner: Gena's body shots nice n' tight tonight, really taking it out of svelte supermodel midsection.

R7: Nolin pressing the attack - nice jab, bob to the right look. Nolin still flat footed - Warren able to step around her at times, but G cutting off the ring when she really works at it, makes up for Estella's wheels with geometry, judgement. Warren clawing her hook, spitting her jab, thrusting her cross - she's getting off tasty, scoring against Nolin's improved defence - if G WEREN'T moving her head, she'd be in trouble. Gena consistent to the body, looking to tire Estella's legs, beating Estella's arms when nothing else is available - Warren ragged over the latter half the round, mouth open, eyes concerned - Gena's asking some hard questions tonight.

R8: G with that sneaky up jab, gets Estella leaning backward - Nolin FINALLY lands that sizzling go-home right. Warren catching on her forehead, sent ragdoll into ropes - crowd screaming as it seems she MUST go down, but somehow covers up wilting earmuff instead.

on comes. Gena. Nolin's eyes bright - she goes at Warren with robust right hands to the body, pounding Estella senseless - model's mouth pouts open as she shrivels behind her guard. Clubbing hooks - shoulder, behind the elbow - Gena rattling Warren's torso, then bodying into her to smear Warren against the strands. Snug inside - Nolin just shrugging her punches, stuffing 'em tummy and trunks, shielding her work with that wide, white back betwixt her and the ref. Warren groaning as trunks sponge leather - she reaches for Gena dreamy, trying to embrace her: Nolin won't have it. Crunching blows up into Estella's lungs - thudding brutality as Gena squares away - poor Warren slumping ropeside, head lolling in sympathy with the body beating - she's a helpless vixen. Leering G props a left at Warren's right shoulder and DRIFTS home the right cross - smashing Estella's face hard to starboard, twisting her sideways to ropes. Warren's left arm drapes lifelessly across Gena's shoulders - Nolin just bodies her roughly upright in the ropes, propping and drifting now, propping and drifting. Crowd screaming for fight to be stopped as Estella finally slides to canvas, rolling to her back beneath the ropes, eyes closed, battered mouth unconsciously working the word 'Stop' over and over. KO8 in spectacular fashion - Gena Lee Nolin.

After: Stretcher IMMEDIATELY brought in - Warren tenderly positioned, carted from the ring like so much lanky beef. Estella with the lead through 7, but finally catching some serious Gena Lee leather - Nolin strutting, thumping her chest as she soaks up the win. Pundits quick to notice the subtle improvements in Nolin's game - everything from defensive head movement and angles to a smarter jab. "You gotta give her credit," says a BLONDE! mag wag. "Nolin took Estella apart tonight - went to the body, dealt with the speed and class like a real veteran pro. That right hand didn't land by accident - you could see Gena working her way into range all night - it was just a matter of time." Nolin trumpeting her skills in postfight. "I've always been able to box, but I've also always been able to hurt people, so you get lazy. I want to be around for another 5 or 10 years, so I have to get hit less - it's as simple as that. If that means I have to carry a punk like Estella a few extra rounds before taking her out, so be it!"
